This has been my 3rd time to dine at Six availing of the pre theatre dinner. While the food was pleasant the first and second course was lukewarm and as we were going to the theatre we felt we did not have the time to ask for the dishes to be reheated. It was not only my dishes that were lukewarm but also my husband had the same complaint I did bring this to the attention of the waitress who cleared the table

We were the only ones in the restaurant as we had a pre-theatre reservation at 5.15pm. Staff were fab and genuine, food was excellent and worth every calorie. It was my partners birthday and they made a delicious petit fours plate for him.’ Highly recommend

Restaurant Six exceeded our expectations in every way. My wife and i had a stop over in Dublin and had booked into a hotel near the town centre. When we were looking for a restaurant to have dinner at we did not want to go to that usual “traditional Irish” pub type place and we found a reference to Six. We were glad we had done so. The ambiance was very pleasant, low key and more peaceful, the food was good and then service was outstanding. The maitre’d, Vish, is the consummate professional. We were made to feel special while at the same time at home. On our own reference scale of “would we eat here again” most certainly yes and we would rate the restaurant highly for any visitors to Dublin.

Lovely friendly service. Pleasant ambience and nice decor. Pre theatre menu is good value and restaurant is ideal for attending the Gate theatre.

From the ambiance to the food, this restaurant was excellent! The wait staff was also very good and knowledgable with wine pairing. We were heading to a show next door and they served up a price fix menu that had great options and was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Restaurant Six.
