A unique gluten free experience, 100% made in Italy.
The first Risotteria Melotti was opened in Isola della Scala, in the region of VERONA, in 2002. The idea of opening a Risotteria in New York came in order to make this typical and traditional italian dish known and cooked by us, with the rice we produce and with the typical old style techniques used in Isola della Scala.
Delicious food, amazing drinks, allergen friendly, lovely staff, nice decor
Lovely spot and hosts. Amazing food!
Incredible service, phenomenal wine selection, food was alright.
Great food and accommodating staff. The outdoor dining situation was quite nice, too.
excellent food, nice patio, great service. i like this place!
Excellent food and wonderful service!
Everything about this restaurant is outstanding!! We love this place & will be back!
This is a delightful place. Old storefront vibe. Very pleasant servers. Superb risotto. Wines tend to favor Verona, as they should.
This is real Italian food. Value for money, a 10
We have been to Risotteria before and have never been disappointed. The risotto is amazing- the best we have ever had- and we’ve had risotto in many places! Dessert- this time the flourless chocolate torte- was fabulous. The fact that everything, even the bread, is gluten free was important to me, but my son and husband, who can eat gluten, thought everything was amazing too. Can’t wait to go back to NYC to visit.
it is so nice to be abel to roder anything from the menu without having to worry about gluten allergies! This place really has a full menu with plenty of choices like a real restaurant gluten free!!!
Had a reservation for 5:30 pm on a Friday night. Plenty of seating at that time. Staff was incredibly friendly and prompt - could not ask for more. The food was great (had a truffle risotto), and would definitely go back.
Our food was spectacular but our Italian server made it perfect. She took the time to explain the history of the family rice farm so that we walked out with three pounds of risotto rice andI am starting cooking for company this weekend.
Food was great however after 1 1/2 hours we were asked to leave our table and felt rushed.
Service was great and food was wonderful. Music was loud when we arrived but they turned it down when we asked. Outdoor seating was full but We had a nice table near the open door
The staff is super friendly and the food so delicious! I highly recommend the appetizers, they are really great, specially the polenta and Calamari!
Love love LOVE this place! Best secret in NYC. Like stepping into Italy/Europe. Quiet calming atmosphere. Best brushetta ever. Can taste the freshness of the ingredients.
Amazing food! I loved the risotto with eggplant and burrata ❤️
Service was great and food was enjoyable. Thank you!
Excellent gluten free food and a great deal for brunch
Gluten-free was why we went but the meal was so much more than that. Delicious bread, pancetta, and risotto. Excellent tiramisu. Glad we went. We’ll be. Ack.
First time visiting this restaurant and the experience was amazing. Service was great and the food was excellent.
The food is consistently excellent, and the staff is personable and kind. No complaints.
I have celiac disease so I am thrilled anytime I am able to go out to eat and not have to worry about what I order. Everything was delicious from the burrata appetizer to the tiramisu. I love that the restaurant is connected to family and they are able to support the celiac community with their product. It was my first time dining there but definitely won’t be the last time.
Excellent food and service for a reasonable price.
Great food, great service!! Nice quiet quaint place and would go back to try everything on the menu!!
Always amazing, everything is gluten free but it is better than any Italian restaurants I’ve found in NYC, period! Like a little trip to Italy, a much needed respite in nyc today! Been going for years and it only gets better!!
Delicious gluten-free menu and a very friendly staff. We will definitely be returning!
I've been going to Risotteria Melotti for years and was very worried when they had to close during the COVID restaurant shut down. THANK GOODNESS they are open again because their menu and food is spectacular. They specialize in risotto and have several options from seafood, vegetarian, meat, etc. I've never once had a disappointing meal. Also, everything on the menu is gluten free so you don't feel disgusting after you eat a huge plate of risotto. Me and my husband both come from strong Italian backgrounds, my husband's father is from Roma, so we really appreciate the authenticity of this small, family owned restaurant. This is lovely quaint place to have dinner with family or friends during the week or before a night out on the town. The restaurant is also super clean and they are taking all of the proper COVID precautions above and beyond!
Favorite spot in the city. Outstanding food and service in an intimate setting. Love taking my girlfriend there.
We had another fantastic meal!! I wish I could go everyday!! Highly recommend to all my Celiac friends. Food and service were fantastic!!
This is by far my favorite restaurant in Manhattan. It feels like taking a flight to Italy and escaping for an evening. Not to mention, the food never disappoints. It is unbelievably delicious and fairly priced. A great date-night spot, or dinner with your best friends.
This place is a must-try if you’re a risotto fan. Our server was incredibly warm and gracious.
The food is delicious; lemon and shrimp risotto being my favorite. Service was very attentive and good value overall. Will definitely return.
Great great food
This is my go-to place for gluten free food. Had my favorite the spinach and cheese risotto. Light and creamy with bold flavors. Desert is always the mini cream puffs with chocolate drizzled across the top. An double expresso and some desert wine to finish the exquisite evening. Love this place!
I have been to Risotteria Melotti several over the last couple of weeks and I have grown very fond of that place. I’m sad to not have discovered it earlier!
I have been for lunch and dinner and I have thoroughly enjoyed every meal. I am a huge risotto fan and I have liked them all so far. My absolute favorite so far: radicchio, gorgonzola e noci. I have also tried a few appetizers, the aranchini and the burratta definitely stand out.
I really like the flair of a family business this restaurant has. Will definitely keep supporting them!
Celebrated our first anniversary at this lovely restaurant! The food and service are always top notch- like a little trip to Italy 🇮🇹
The food is AMAZING and the service is always above and beyond! A favorite for me!!
amazing! thanks a lot CatherineM
