Delicious dinner for Mother's Day. Great appetizers with correspondingly tasty entrees of chicken and dorado and finishing off with incredible brownie/blondie. The accompanying music and eclectic drinks added to the evening entertainment and enjoyment.

Our first visit to this new place in Ardmore. Street Corn was amazing - where do they find such good cob corn in May? Roasted artichokes were delicious and the pork ribs were really nice. Whiskey sours were especially tasty - highly recommended. Our service seemed a bit new on the job, but was really trying. Food was served within about 15 minutes of ordering. We liked it and we will be back!

Overall our dinner was good but a bit pricey fir some of the items! French fries with brisket and sauces were amazing! Burger and pork chop dinners were excellent. Fish and chips were very good but portion was small for $19...only one piece of fish... more appetizer portion the dinner! Chocolate cookie with ice cream was amazing! Ice cream scoop needs to be bigger than a golf ball! Our server was wonderful! Attentive,helpful and pleasant!

We were asked to push our res back and then were seated right at the kitchen door in the back of the restaurant. Waited a good 15 minutes for service. Food came before drinks, was dark and really did not find the place very welcoming. Server walked by our table multiple times and took care of all the other tables around us before focusing on us. We were clearly her last table of the night. Food was good however, octopus especially.

My first time and it was delicious. Got the Po Boy sandwich loaded with a special dressing pickles scallions and red cabbage. Delicious fries on the side. But we ordered the Ripp fries too. Wow. Tiny bits of flavorful brisket with littles pieces of veggies like tomatoe and more scallions and a lite delicious dressing. Disappointed only one hour from dinner so we couldn't order off of the dinner menu. But we'll be back! Great waitress!

Fantastic, interesting food! We loved everything we ordered, several dishes shared among three people. Our cocktails were also excellent, and our waiter Jack was extremely helpful and informative. Will definitely go back. The only factor that will determine how often is the noise level. The music was quite loud and the sound muffling quite low, even though we were in the back room. It was oFten difficult to hear one another. But as a food experience in a lively venue, it was fantastic.

This was our first dining event at Ripplewood and it won't be our last. Food was great as was the server. The Pretzel Rolls are a good snack to get things going. The Branzino was perfectly cooked and no bones. I loved the Wedge Salad; interesting presentation. The wine in the can is different and worth a try. You get a full 2 1/2 servings from one can and the wine was what you would encounter in a bottle. The management staff was very friendly and attentive as soon as we walked in the door. Try to get a table on the second floor for a quiet dinner and get there early as by the time we left the 1st floor was packed. We wish them continued success.

Easily some of the most outstanding food I’ve had in the neighborhood in a while. Not being a whiskey drinker, my only wish is for a more developed selection of wines. On all other counts, this place is a keeper. I’m sure I’ll be a regular!

Service was very spotty throughout the evening. We had a party of 6. The waitress brought 3 drinks first, and then there was a long wait for the other 3 drinks to arrive. Same thing occurred with the food. Could just be the newness of the place; if so, many kinks to be worked out.

The food was fine except for the fish and chips. Chips were soggy and overly salty. Fish was very so so - not a nice, light flavor.

We may go back....after a time.

Great new addition to Ardmore dining scene. A really good gastropub. Excellent bar with tremendous assortment of whiskey and knowledgeable bartenders. The menu matches the ambience and bar atmosphere. Comfortable design and new space outside will be coming. Have the pretzel bread and wings to start.

Had dinner at Ripplewood about a week after they opened. The cocktails and snacks/shareables were amazing. The entree was excellent as well, but it was 3 scallops and 4 small potatoes for $27, so definitely stick with the smaller plates to get the best value.
Service was a tiny bit disorganized (they took our utensils and didn't bring new ones without being asked) but I'm sure those hiccups will go away with time.
Overall had a great meal and especially loved the smoked carrots dish.

Delish! The Ripp is a go to place for great food, great drinks, and great service. Went again last night, table of 6. Must haves: the ripp fries (I’m obsessed), tuna crudo, Brussels sprouts, grilled octopus, buffalo artichokes, roasted carrots, burger, brookie, donuts - well EVERYTHING! This place just opened 8 days ago, and they really have it together. Experienced chef, and great staff training have made a huge difference in a smooth operation from the get go. Definitely worth a ride from the city into the burbs!!

We really enjoyed our meal. We went soon after they opened and the service still had some kinks. But we will go again, and expect that with time they will improve service. Food was yummy, drinks were good and the place was cute. Good addition to the Ardmore scene!

This place is brand new so I give them a little leeway. Food was excellent. Well prepared & creative. Service still needs a little work. Our starters did not come out together which always makes the meal awkward - do we eat or wait for everyone to have what they ordered? Tuna tartare and the wings were standouts. The manager came over and took the wings off our bill since they came out so much later than the other but they were still tasty! Main courses were also very good. Service was lacking. Our server disappeared for long stints stretching what we thought would be a quick meal into 2+ hours. We will definitely give this place another shot - hopefully with a different server!

The first bite I took was of the Brussel sprouts. Silence fell among us - I was a party of 6, and when that food came, we were just so overcome with deliciousness, the only thing you could hear was the sound of hearts popping out of our eyeballs. It was a beautiful set up, a bar on both floors, dazzling Edison lights, great service. The only thing that concerned me a little bit was it seemed some dishes and drinks were particularly smaller than it seemed they should be; for instance the Brazino, while quite delicious (this coming from a non-cooked fish liker), was a significantly smaller main dish than the others that came to the table. It’s only the third day open, but I can tell this is going to be a family favorite! I will absolutely be revisiting this place again soon! 💕

The food and service were really, really good. Music was great. We had a very early reservation and brought our 8 yo twins who ate off the menu and loved it. Our table was upstairs and the room was cozy albeit a bit plain. Will return, without the kids and hopefully eat outside. Not sure when that part of the restaurant will open but I am looking forward to it.

Second day open and everything ran smoothly! My husband ordered an old fashion, one sip, his eyes lit up and said, “that’s good”. We started with pretzel bread to begin and it was delicious! The burger and mushroom flat bread were equally as good. Great food and atmosphere, we will definitely be back.
