Ripplewood Whiskey and Craft
We had a very nice time celebrating my Mom’s 70th birthday. :)
This was our first time here. What a great experience! The service was spot on! I started with their whiskey sour. It was delicious. The ambience was nice. It was happy hour but the music was enjoyable and it wasn’t too loud so we could still hear each other. Our meal started with the savory mushroom soup. Outstanding presentation and oh so good. Next we had the wings. Again great presentation and delicious. We topped it off with the braised short ribs and filet mignon. Both to die for! So tender and delicious! We will be returning! Planing to try the brunch this Sunday! Thanks for the great experience Ripplewood!
The lunch menu is limited and zero vegetarian options for a main course.
Met my daughter for dinner, we each had a porch light drink, OMG must have another! We shared Ripp fries, Mac & cheese, & a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious, the fries are the best in the area and since we do not like spicy they removed the jalapeños from both the fries & Mac & cheese. Salad was perfect as well. We will be back soon! Highly recommend for the great food, friendly staff, and proficient bartenders.
Delicious food and atmosphere for a fun night celebrating with friends! Get the brussel sprouts!
Being upstairs on what seemed like a slow day, made the service a bit slow (guessing the stair climb is a hassle for the servers?). Two of us had French toast which was amazing, two of us had burgers that were good (although the serving of fries was minuscule). I had avocado toast that was hard as a rock and lacking avocado. That being said, the cocktails were good, background music was brunch appropriate and the price was right. We’ll chalk it up to being first-timers, and will try it again but maybe not brunch.
Fun with friends....celebrating a very special birthday....candles included! Great cocktails...yummy food.....
Loved the reimagining of the Caesar salad. Would also love to know the recipe for the fried sweet potatoes.
Best Brussel sprouts! Great service, excellent drinks, and too many fantastic shareable menu items to name.
Relaxing atmosphere. Ran into old friends we haven’t seen in a while. Delicious food, creative craft cocktails, very good service
Food was great. My only complaint is that they have “Whiskey” in their name but their drink menu and top shelf Whiskeys are lacking. Plus when u are selling $15 manhattans without top shelf booze u might want to put them in something larger than a 3 oz mini martini glass.
This was my first experienace at Ripplewood as it was highly recommended by family members and I was not disappointed. My son and I shared 4 small plates for dinner and all of them were delicious and filling. We did not try a cocktail but they all looked very appealing. Instead we sampled the beer and cider choices and were not disappointed with our selections. This was a very enjoyable experience and we will return again.
Food was good and service was better nice place to go for drinks as well because the drink are really good. We will be back.
Awesome! Would definitely come back. Food superb and service excellent. Great vibe and lively crowd.
Funky cool neighborhood spot.
Pleasantly Surprised that there were enough choices for meatless since we dined during a Friday/lent.
Awesome, friendly and efficient staff. Delicious food. We will return.
Awesome staff and service!!!
Amazing place on the main line. Especially when you’re looking for a food and drink craft you need to travel to nyc for.
It’s hard to judge a place like Ripplewood that is aspiring to bigger things. You can that by how good the food is. The people that work there a genuine and really care about your experience. I can’t wait to go back. It’s needs the table and chairs to match the foods quality and the service to be a bit more polished. However, none of that would keep from going back or recommending it highly to others.
We had a wonderful evening celebrating a friends birthday at Ripplewood. The service ( Olivia) and food were excellent. We will definitely return.
On the 2nd floor dining room. Longer than usual wait for cocktails. Gnocchi was served burned on the bottom. My filet mignon entree’ served lukewarm. Returned to kitchen and returned hot, a good portion for the price and was delicious. They comped us for the gnocchi. Lamb meatballs were delicious. Would go back again at some point. Waitress was congenial and knowledgeable.
Food is delicious with great service. Always enjoy Ripplewood. Don't miss the fries!
Overall great place for girls night out or group dinner. All the food was delicious. Small plates that work for sharing. Cocktails are innovative. Good quality. Bar was active.
Great atmosphere, great food, and delicious drinks!
We have patronized Ripplwood Whiskey and Craft several times but our last dinner was a disappointment. Our brussel sprout appetizer was over seasoned and very heavy. Not the usual fare that we have tasted before. My Barnegat Light Scallops at a hefty $27 consisted of 3 decent scallops and a bowl of farro. Although tasty, it was it was a poor value for the price. We ended with the carrot cake dessert which was the highlight of the meal. The cake was moist, well seasoned and the icing was excellent. While I wrote I would recommend I would have to add a warning that the food can be inconsistent.
Excellent. Will return again, and again. Creative, innovative, fun. No taste bud left unturned.
Wonderful service, wonderful food and beverages!!!
Sat upstairs for Valentine’s Day. Seemed like our waitress was serving the entire upstairs alone. We watched her get 6 new tables in a matter of an hour. Ourselves and our neighbors were given slow, subpar service because of this. Seemed crazy for her to have that many tables. Fortunately, the food was amazing. Potato gnocchi, roasted chicken and burger. Would go back and hope for better service.
Came in for Valentine’s day! Server who was also the bartender was amazing! He was very attentive and could answer all of our questions. Food was great, my boyfriend got the short ribs and I got the scallops. Manager touched the table too. We will be back!
Service was generally fine but our waitress tuned out at dessert time. All my husband wanted was a slice of cake and we waited 30 minutes for it to arrive only after questioning the waitress
The food is absolutely amazing. We got a whole bunch of shareables and nothing disappointed. The Mac n’ cheese and ripp fries are especially good. Can’t wait to come back!
Service was quick, pleasant and considerate. I would have liked more choices for a hamburger than the one that was on the menu. Turned out it was very messy to eat. I ended up eating it with a knife and fork. It was fine and it wouldn't deter me from coming back. Ripplewood has a good beer selection which suits me fine. The best part of Ripplewood is that they are always checking in to see if everything is good and if you need anything, You don't get that customer concern at many places today.
Food was delicious and so were the drinks! Will be back for sure
We met two couple’s for dinner. The cocktails were inventive and tasty. We decided to have several rounds of shareables instead of entrees. The bao buns were delicious and everyone enjoyed the wings and the mushroom flatbread, Brussels sprouts and winter citrus salad. The lamb meatballs tasted good but left a salty aftertaste. The desserts that we shared were all delicious and our server just the right amount of attentiveness. We would definitely come back!
Super cool, hip place. Food was great, "shareables" were interesting and tasty, waiter was fabulous! Outdoor seating in the middle of the indoor seating, nice cool Philly vibe ambiance right in the middle of Ardmore.
We had dinner reservations for 845 and got seated at 920-925 but the staff felt bad and they took good care of us. Food was good!
Our first time - food was actually quite good, which surprised me a bit given the venue. The downside is that seating in the area near to the bar is VERY noisy and crowded - so be prepared.
