Amazing food, service was personal and took time to connect with patrons, cocktails were unique and tasty. Highly recommend this place!
Great food, drinks and more. Awesome place. Truly enjoyed our evening.
Service was very friendly and attentive. The chef is first class, ALL the food
was delicious. I had the "Crab Louie" and my friend had the Signature Burger,
both dishes were outstanding. We also had some of the many types of Whiskey to try.
Very convenient, went to a show next door at The Ardmore Music Hall. Will Be Back - For Sure.
Ripplewood is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant on the Main Line. The menu is original and the food is delicious. The service at yesterdays lunch was outstanding, with special attention given to the birthday girl, who was my guest. Everyone was friendly, knowledgable and genuinely happy. When you go, do not miss the Brussel sprouts...oh my goodness! I know that sounds crazy, but they are out of this world. The food at Ripplewood is all made in house, and you can tell! Don't miss this very special restaurant and bar.
Simply excellent. Service, food (amazing), drink menu and good seating options, including a secluded patio
My favorite part about this place is the service. Professional yet relaxed. A great place to meet, enjoy a great meal and good drinks. I have been here about 3 times now and cant wait to get back for many more.
Great food. Good Craft Beer. Great place to get together with friends in a casual atmosphere with good food and drink.
Food was what we expected. Service was lacking. To start, weren’t ready for our reservation time (why make a reservation if I’m still going to wait as long as walk-ins???). Water glasses were never more than half full, apps came out at different times, and waitress never stopped by Our table after the main course was brought out.
Good food. Super nice service. Great location next to music venue, convenient to park once, eat and see show.
All staff members were very friendly and accommodating, especially our bartender, Shannon, and the food was outstanding. This place has a nice atmosphere both downstairs and upstairs and has an outdoor section for nice days. Tried the whiskey sampler which was good - will order that again next time. We will definitely visit this place again.
First time dining here - staff was absolutely pleasant and food was incredible! We didn't have anything leftover afterward, very good!
This is the second time that I have eaten at Ripplewood. It has a great ambience in the bar area. We ate upstairs which is a little bit quieter. The waitress was great-very upbeat and happy to recommend things. The service was great by waitress and servers. We ordered several plates to share. Everything was delicious. Brussel sprouts were fantastic. The Charred Octopus was delicious! I feel the portion size is a little small for the price. The drinks are priced similar to other restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend it and will go back again.
First time here. Brunch menu looked good and all the food we ordered was excellent. Great brunch cocktail options. I recommend the Bloody Dragon.
Waitress was attentive knowledgeable and overall great service!! The brussels sprouts were delicious as well as the smoked octopus. Burger was outstanding. Really enjoyed the margarita and also had a zombie which was very strong & delicious. Ended meal with a warm brownie - cookie with vanilla ice cream in a mini skillet- omg good! Great vibe and plan to go back with friends this fall!
We went for Friday dinner - definitely need a reservation, though there is bar seating. We enjoyed this new place - good food, lively, good service, not quiet and intimate but fun and energetic. Adrienne, our server, was helpful and attentive. We sat at a hightop near the bar, which was fine (though legroom was weird for my 6' husband), didn't get to check out upstairs. We went for 4 sharables plus a dessert and two drinks. Did not walk away stuffed, but were happy with quantities. Highlights were eggplant dip, raw tuna app, caesar salad and "brookie" (brownie/choc chip cookie combo). Rose sangria was tasty and not too sweet. Will happily return.
Terrific overall experience! Can’t wait to go again!
First time visitors on our way to a concert so didn’t have time to sit around. Didn’t tell the waiter Mike this because he was quick with everything without conpromise. Very pleasant experience and I shall return
We loved it here. We had the Zucchini & Corn Flatbread which was so good. The cheese plate was awesome and there was a Dulce de Leche sauce that was such a great and new alternative to honey. My favorite drink was the Snapple Facts - vodka, peach, and basil. Delicious!
The savory swiss cheese sticks were served with the tastiest pesto sauce made with a tangy olive oil, and I couldn't get enough of the steak tartar. You could tell the meat was fresh. For the entree, we had the Brisket, which was delicious, succulent, and definitely enough meet for two! Kudos to the chef. We will be back.
Great addition to Ardmore! Food and service are excellent!
Great new neighborhood spot zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I was looking forward to checking this place out after hearing so many people recommend it. If it was not for our waitress Erica, I probably would have walked out before we even ordered anything. I would have walked out because nothing annoys me more than making a reservation and being seated at a high top table next to the bar. The tables and stools were super uncomfortable and I couldn’t cross my legs. At 8:00 on a Thursday night - these apparently the only tables available. My husband enjoyed his whiskey and I enjoyed some red wine. We had 4 shareable plates - the street corn was my favorite, the fries which were good, the grilled shrimp were a little cold but tasty and the cheese board. But Erica saved the evening - she was helpful, attentive and very personable. I don’t know if we would every go back for dinner unless we go out with a group and could get a regular table but the food and drinks were good and worth checking out.
Was great, a teeny bit rushed, but otherwise excellent
Very good food. The burger is phenomenal. The beer list could have more of a regional focus with better IPA’s. Great addition to the neighborhood.
Cool spot with great food and service. Friendly staff and great “gastro-pub” fare. Worth a visit.
Robust meats. All items far too salty, and or saturated and soggy . Lighten the sauce on everything, short sell the salt and allow the foods and flavors to be. Too heavy overall for portions. I'm sure they will do well if they find balance. Lovely staff and culinary craft.
Great food and amazing drinks! A little pricey but worth it for a fun night out with friends!
Very nice. Upstairs ambiance not as nice as downstairs. Would go back
I can’t wait to return. Every bite was perfection. Next time I’ll save room for dessert.
The food was disappointing. This was my second time at this establishment; the first time the food was excellent. Not sure what happened the second time: the fish we ordered was over cooked and the filet was drowned in a very heavy and fussy sauce that ruined an excellent piece of meat.
We have been to Ripplewood an embarrassing number of times. And aren't the least bit tired of it. The menu changes up from time to time and every friend we've introduced has become a fan.
Great neighborhood addition!
Saw this on Open Table and decided to try it. Lucky find. My husband and I dined at the restaurant's charming outdoor space. Sangria to start, of course. The eggplant appetizer was excellent, as were the ribs. I enjoyed the chicken on grits - something different. What I liked best was the impeccable service. Great waitress, whose name I wish I remember so I could compliment her online. We are looking forward to returning.
Wonderful night. Menu was interesting. Food was very good. Whiskey list was extensive. We tried the whiskey and the beer. Would love to go back and try the cocktails. Our server Michael was so kind and very knowledgeable about the entire menu. Best customer service ever in a restaurant that I’ve experienced. Can’t wait to go back!!!!
We had a delicious brunch on the deck - perfectly cooked brisket omelette, eggs benedict, huge portion of french toast and tasty potato and beet hashbrown sides. The chilled beet soup had interesting flavors and textures - so unexpected, yet good. I knew the cocktails were tasty, just didn't know what to expect for food. Now I'm anxious to come back for dinner!
This is nice the place, but the ambiance is very poor, it is too bright and does not feel like a bar, but more like a suburban restaurant.
Burgers are a must, all the food is delicious and the service is wonderful. This was my 3rd time there in 3 months. If the back patio is open I suggest eating there, quieter and nice to enjoy the fresh air.
This is a tough review to write fairly because the type of food this restaurant serves is not my favorite. It is one of those menus that sounds great as you read it, but there are always one or two ingredients too many for my taste. On the other hand, my wife loves this. Perspective and specific taste are everything. I liked it and would consider going back. My wife loved it and would definitely go back. Our kids found the food a bit to complicated for their taste. I enjoyed the corn and cucumber salad and the smoked carrots (in full disclosure, I asked to have an ingredient or two omitted from both). I did not particularly like the tagliatelle pasta. It was gummy and chewy. My wife loved her soup and the fries with brisket (we ordered it without the cheese and deconstructed a bit). We all agreed that the the fries and brisket were great! Our son liked his grilled shrimp app and his short ribs. Our daughter thought the ceasar salad had an odd taste and her Bronzino was just ok. Our waitress and the rest of the staff was very pleasant, accommodating and gave good service. We also though the bill was a little high for what we ordered.
We had such a delicious meal!
I highly recommend this restaurant to all of my friends!!
I've gone a couple times now, and have gotten something different both times. Food is delicious and creative. Something for everyone. My Mother is on a low salt diet, and they even gave her a big plate of plain tomatoes with basil and only charged her $2!
My only slight complaint is that the place is a little dark and a little noisy, but it is energetic and fun. The wait staff is very nice an accommodating. We had Olivia, she's a doll!
Terrific first experience here. It is an intimate place, so reservations are recommended. Tables, chairs and floor are hard surface, so it can be loud if you have a lively table next to you. Highly recommended.
