    This is a wonderful place! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is delicious! Come hungry. When we go we make it the only meal for the day because it is so much food!

    Wow! The friendliest staff around! Everyone was so nice, and never hesitated to answer questions. Very attentive, but not disruptive. The cold bar offered some of the best treats (heart of palm, a mix of cheeses, variety of peppers, and sauces to try with your meats). Every bite of meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. Zero disappointment!!! And, the cachaça was fantastic! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Great salad and hot bar (potatoes, rice, polenta and mushroom gravy). Salad bar included peel and eat shrimp and salmon. Service was excellent. Did not get meats, just added too much money to our bill in our opinion. We will definitely go back!

    The décor is very nice and the service was excellent. We do wish there was a few more sides on the hot bar. However, the gauchos were awesome and the meat brought to my table was exactly the cook we told the waiter. Sometimes they came by when the red side was flipped up, but I didn't mind because it allowed me to grab an item I was waiting for that came while I was "taking a break".

    We came to the Rio de Brazil for my 50th birthday. We had a great meal. The side bar was well stocked. Our favorite meats were the flank steak, ribeye and beef rib. The servers were attentive. We went on a Wednesday evening, and there were not a lot of other diners. I have seen other reviews where others have nit picked on meat doneness and price. They probably have not been to a Brazilian Steakhouse before, and did not know what to expect. If you want a certain type of meat, or it done more or less done, or more or less rare, just ask the server. They were happy to accommodate our requests. I am glad this restraunt is in Johnson City. It is a great place for special occasions. We will be back.

    I Visited Rio de Brazil with my 2 sons for the first time last night, the food was amazing and the waiters were fantastic. It is a little pricey but worth it overall.

    The restaurant was clean, quiet and tastefully decorated. The food was Wonderful and the service from both the waitress and the gauchos was excellent ! The salad bar was cold and fresh and the hot side dishes were Very Tasty ! It was a very nice place to celebrate our anniversary ! ! Thank You Rio de Brazil !

    We had a great experience at Rio de Brazil! The food was fantastic, and the servers were super friendly and helpful. We were there for the meat, haha, but the salad bar was fresh and super tasty! I ran out of room way too quickly. The picanha was so juicy and tender, I could have made a whole meal just out of it. We splurged on creme brulee that was some of the best I've had.

    The food is so very good here. Good cuts of meat and we'll cooked. The sides are good as well but don't fill up on them. It's pricey but for all you can eat definitely worth it.

    The food was absolutely delicious and seasoned and marinated so well… it’s around $40 a plate but it’s all you can eat and you can constantly try new things or let your stomach settle then eat some more

    The meat selections were very fatty, not good flavor and value for the price wasn't there. Salad bar was okay. The only thing decent was the grilled pineapple

    My husband, daughter and I went for my husband’s birthday. It was perfect! Everything was delicious and served at a “just right” temperature. The only thing I would suggest is for the wait staff to pay attendance to water drinkers and keep them refilled. Everything else was wonderful!

    We were having a celebration of life for a friend which we do every year. We have been in Florida and usually go to Brazilian steakhouse there. The food was delicious and if anyone goes away hungry from Rio de Brazil it’s there own fault. We will be back.

    It was a quiet Wednesday evening and a wonderful dining experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The buffet was well organized and attractive. The grilled meat selection was plentiful and exciting. Everything tasted fantastic. We had a great evening and will return soon. I highly recommend this restaurant to all.

    Me and my wife went out for New Years and I will not recommend that place to anyone the drink we got taste like dish soap and the food was not the best

    As I appreciate the restaurant being open and the staffs willingness to work on Christmas day we were just feeling so-so about our $109 dinner for two. The ambience wasn't anything special nor was the salad bar area. We were underwhelmed. The meat was ok. Parmesan chicken was way overcooked and dry as was the filet. The lamb was absolutely perfect however and so was the garlic steak and the house steak,... The mashed potato with gravy was tasty. I ordered a extra cold dirty martini with blue cheese olive. What I got was a white creamy looking dirty martini with a cup of ice floating in it. I was to scared to drink it. I've never experienced a creamy white dirty martini with a ice chest floating in it. Smh. Ice cold means shake it a bit longer so it's colder.... Our service was good, I'll assume we didn't have just one server as it appeared they worked as a team. Only thing we didn't love was when we were done with our dirty plate it just sat on the tiny table until we flagged someone down to clear it. Our experience wasn't bad but like I said we paid $109 plus a nice tip and we both felt we would of enjoyed waffle house more.

    We have visited this restaurant several times and always been pleased.However, tonight we was so disappointed. They didn’t have their famous bread, bananas (kid’s favorite) and wasn’t even going to tell us until I asked. Then to make things worse, the steak was dry and almost burned to a crisp. Our server checked on us 2 times, and there was only one other table there besides us. The floors was also dangerously slippery, I think they cleaned them with pledge, because it was literally like walking on ice. I told our server and she kind of laughed it off and said it was because of the temperature. I used to always recommend this place, but after today, probably won’t be and won’t be returning.

    The experience was Meh. I have been to a similar Brazilian restaurant before which was amazing and although the food and service were okay it definitely did not meet my expectations. Good food but exceedingly average.
