Excellent choices on the menu... great food and service
Made reservations early for a special valentine dinner. They seated us in the bar with all the walk ins and would not move us. The salads came before the appetizer. The veal special was over cooked and thus tough. We left early without considering desert. We have been here before but something has changed. Very disappointed as we like to support local business
Well first drink the waiter spilt all over me and my coat. Had to move tables. Then my steak came no favor and the potato’s were cold. They did not charge me for the drink. Second time there, but not going back
The quality of food was outstanding although it was a little pricy. But it was worth it.
We had dined at Rinato's before and been disappointed---Underdone fish, expensive steak tips that were very fatty and gristly--= but this time the food was excellent and the service veryfine.
We will go back, and hope the most recent experience is the norm for the restaurant.
We were there on a very quiet evening so may not be representative. The service was very good but we were almost the only diners there . The grilled calamari and shortribs were very good but the haddock was not. In fact we doubted it was even haddock . The texture was all wrong and quite chewy. Maybe it had been frozen or maybe it was hake. Either way it did not meet our expectations.
This was my third visit to Rinato since the new owners took over. It used to be Bridgeman's, one of my local favorites. My impression after the first 2 visits was that it was OK, but not up to Bridgeman's standards. Now I'd have to say it's growing on me, and I'll definitely be back. It was a very quiet night, which helped, and both of us thought our meals (a haddock special and shrimp scampi) were excellent. Our waitress was very personable and efficient, and their prices are reasonable.
Best Clam Chowder I have had in a long long time. Service is very friendly.
Some of the dishes were good, some were just ok. Here's a question, why put a high-top table for 8-10 18 inches from and directly in front of a 55" television? I like TVs in bar areas, but not close enough to a dining table to burn my retinas.
Celebrating a 60th Birthday. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed appetisers ,entrees and desserts!
