RIME Seafood & Steak
For a more private dining experience, we are happy to serve your meal in the comfort of your own room or on your private balcony.
I recommend this restaurant for the delightful service. The prices for the food are outrageous for the quality we experienced with the entrees. I would go back and have an assortment of apps.
We had salmon and swordfish--and both entrees plus a side of broccolini and mashed potatoes were outstanding! The setting is lovely and the service top notch.
Did not give them 5s across all categories due to incredibly high prices. Most entrees are $40-50....this is NYC pricing
Slow service, but lots of awesome views to wait it out. Great food
They took extra care of us after finding out it was close to one of our birthdays . The food was all plated beautifully. Exceeded my expectations
Best Burger in Utah! Great food, great service. Always a special meal.
Service at the restaurant. Valet and St. Regis service was disappointing, to say the least... The Funicular they tell you to use is dirty, cold and smells.
My husband and I had an outstanding meal at RIME. The seafood and Caesar salad were excellent and the dining was comfortable, quiet and very pretty--overlooking the ski trails. We'll definitely return.
Absolutely terrible experience, particularly for a St. Regis. Very understaffed. Three examples: the table next to us waited 15 min to even order drinks. The bus boy dropped off the drink menu and while the guest was trying to order he said “I can’t answer any questions” and walked away while the guest was mid sentence trying to order. (both our tables were laughing at how service could possibly be this bad). Our waitress told us we had to get the buffet and couldn’t order off menu for another hour... then 10 min later guests were being seated with menus and ordering... when we questioned her on this she literally walked away while I was speaking and made a “brush off” gesture with her hand while walking away muttering “I don’t run this place”. Finally... we ordered toast and it took 30 minutes to come and required speaking to four different wait staff.... all at a St Regis. Appalling. The only consolation was ultimately the manager comped our meal, which was appreciated.
Decent food but ridiculously show. Almost 90 minutes to get our food. Over 2 hours all in for lunch.
This place has gorgeous ambience but the food was absolutely disappointing. Everything was way salty even the salad! It was drenched in salt. I never send anything back but I could not swollow it. My husband's $38 steak pieces were absolutely salty as well. So much for X mas Eve lunch. We will never go back.
It's such a pity because it is a gorgeous restaurant.
During the whole time, our waiter came to our table once to check if the food was ok only after I asked another waitress to help flag down our waiter cos the food was so salty. Oh to add to the experience we had to send back the side plates as it looked appallingly dirty. St. Ridges did not cut it all all. Never going back.
Food and service were amazing. Great place to visit for special occasions.
We had a pre-dinner drink at the bar, great service by Kyle. Very friendly and welcoming. Informed us of all the new updates and changes going on at the restaurant.
We were greeted by a very friendly staff at the host stand. Our dinner service was wonderful. Upon being seated, Glenn and Reggie both remembered us from our last visit. Glen provided wonderful service and all courses were timed perfectly. The food was delicious. Mitch provide wonderful wine service and was knowledgeable about the wine we had. J&G is one of our favorite spots in town.
We had an issue with a gift certificate the last time we were in. Byard ensured that the gift certificate would go through this time and made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Great customer service in resolving an issue. Above and beyond!
We come several times a year and we are always made to feel special. Our favorite server Glenn has the perfect style: he seems happy to see us and asks about our stay in Park City. He remembers what we like. He makes excellent recommendations for both food and wine. His service is impeccable. And thanks also to the chef: each dish is delicious and artfully presented.
Loved riding up in the funicular!
Food was awful. The pizzas and soup came out lukewarm. The prices are ridiculous: ($73 for salmon? Are you kidding me?)
The server could not have been nicer, but the restaurant itself was a massive disappointment. Will never go back.
Sorry to have to give this a not great review but this was NOT J&G grill that we signed up for. Food was very average and this was a very special occasion! After 12 years together, my fiance and I decided to get married (first marriage for both of us) and celebrate by having our very small group (6 people) head to dinner at J&G grill for dinner after the celebration. Kind of a special occasion? We noted it on our reservation as well as our friend who did the ceremony knew the hostess and told her as well. My husband was a bit upset when I told him i mentioned it as he didn't want anyone to do anything special for us. LOL - they did absolutely NOTHING. Not even a 'congratulations' from the hostess, waitress, anyone. The table was completely bare and we sat in the middle of an entirely empty restaurant. To top it off the food was mediocre average and nothing special. Just recently found out the executive chef quit the night or week before our dinner. But even so, the prices were still very high (which would have been ok if the food warranted it) but to not even say a 'congratulations' was a bit of a slap in the face. very sorry we picked this restaurant for our once in a lifetime celebration. Not trying to say we needed any special treatment but not one congratulations from anyone, chef didn't come out, manager didn't come out, they just wanted us to get in and out and we were pretty much the only table in the place. Sorry but Not a great memory for our wedding celebration.
Fabulous food and service!
Waitstaff was not engaged. Waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged in a half empty room. Food was just average at a price point that should demand better. Overall a beautiful venue with a disappointing experience.
We've been eating at the JG Grill since it opened, maybe 4-5 times a year and I have in the past recommended it to people. Sadly, on this visit, every single item was a little (or a lot) off. The chef was kind enough to prepare tofu like the chicken dish, but the seasoning was dull and the only vegetable was zucchini. The scallop appetizer was much too spicy to enjoy. The pizzas were greasy and underbaked and the special one (with peach) had too much balsamic vinegar. The coconut pavlova had cornstarch in it--that you could taste--the guava puree was unappetizing and the blueberries just didn't fit with the dish. The service was great as always and we love the view and ambience. What happened to the head chef?
I never learn. In my case, you can't "teach an old dog a new trick." I must enjoy repeating the same mistake. It may be masochistic, but I am unable to "live and learn.". I step in the same pile of manure almost each and every time.
The J&G Grill is in the elegant and fabulous St Regis Hotel. Run by the venerable Jean-George restaurant corporation, one would think the J&G Grill might have the same degree of excellence as the NYC Jean-George restaurants. Ha! Matching the quality of the J & G Grill to those NYC restaurants is like comparing Billy Carter to Jimmy Carter or Justin Bieber to Ed Sheeran.
We wanted to take a friend to brunch in Park City and made an 11:00 AM reservation at the J&G Grill. We arrived at 11:00 to see them cleaning up the brunch buffet. The brunch ends at 11:00. "No brunch for us!" We stood around for about 7 minutes, until I walked into the restaurant to ask if someone could help us.
"Oh, you want to eat?"
"No, I'm in your restaurant simply to stare at your staff cleaning up the buffet table."
Finally, we were led to a table for a weak, innocuous and expensive lunch. It was a sad ending to a great weekend. Will I learn from this experience? Of course not. I am writing this from Las Vegas, a place I hate with all my heart and soul. Why am I here? Maybe I am masochistic. That would explain much of my utter existence.
We shared the Parker Rolls and the Mussels. Too much bread ! Mussels were outstanding. Shared the Pork chop and while the flavor was good, we were both disappointed in the presentation. Typically nicer restaurants will provide a full order of the vegetables when splitting an entree. Not so in this case. We each had one small stalk of broccolini cauliflower. Were it not for all the bread we ate, we would surely have left feeling fairly hungry. The desert was outstanding and we appreciated the sentiment of providing it at no charge to commemorate our anniversary.
The evening was perfect. Weather was great and enjoyed the ride up the Funicular. Warmly greeted by the Host. Our waiter and support staff were warm and knowledgeable. And funny. Food was creative and excellent. We will definitely return. Soon I hope!
Amazing meal, scenery, setting - all of it was exceptional.
Great atmosphere. Scallops were undercooked. Salmon was overpriced. Mussels were awesome.
The food and the service were outstanding. We weren’t seated outside but the view was still amazing from the inside.
Absolutely elegant! Incredibly good food and service. Whether you are staying at the hotel or not, I highly recommend.
The food was good, but a bit overpriced. We had a excellent waiter—Reggie—who made the evening fun. Ambiance is rated a 3 only because the place was empty and lacked any energy. Honestly think there are places in town just as good with better price points
Fantastic dining experience. Great food, amazing wine selection. Our server Lisa was phenomenal and definitely made our dining experience next level! We will be coming back again and again.
Beautiful outdoor seating. Excellent food. Knowledgeable waiter. Unfortunately, entrees took way too long to arrive (20-30 min after first course). Waiter admitted when asked that he had put in the wrong order. Restaurant should have comped the entree or dessert or something but didn’t.
From the check-in, to the check, this is one of those places where I have no problem paying the higher prices for the highest quality of service, food and drink. 5 star in my book!
The location was fantastic. Views are great. Had pesky wasps interrupting our dinner. The server and support staff went the extra mile to make this birthday occasion, special!
The view was amazing, the service was great the portions were tiny, the food was ok and the prices were astronomical! We wouldn’t ever go back.
A truly wonderful place for a romantic celebration.
I had such an atrocious experience. I ordered a steak medium rare. My steak came well done. I sent it back. My second steak was medium well. My dinner guest had finished her meal by the time my second entree came, which I ate not prepared to order, to avoid eating an hour later. No one asked it was prepared as ordered. When I complained again, my meal was not comp'd, we were not offered a free desert with an apology, we were just told that the kitchen would "hope to be better next time." I am astonished that this restaurant is affiliated with Jean-Georges. I will never return. Wildly overpriced for the service level and experience.
Salmon was over cooked and lacked flavor, way over priced for Norwegian Salmon. New York stop was average, not what I expect for a grill like J&G. Overall disappointing for the price.
Spent a couple hundred dollars on a lovely anniversary dinner. Food was excellent. Portion size was a little small.
From SF to Chicago, to L.A. and NYC. Best meal ever. These guys BRING IT. Exceptional execution. Phenomenal flavor. Authentic service. This place is special. Sit at the chef's counter for an inspiring evening of culinary bliss.
Our server was fantastic. Guided us through the entire new menu, both food and cocktails. She made wonderful suggestions on the appetizers and we all loved our entrees. Greatly appreciated the desserts on the house! We will back again soon!
