   Great food. Service was very attentive in the beginning but seemed to be frustrated by a laid back no rush dinner between my guests and I. The restaurant was quiet but we felt rushed to leave even after ordering 2 drinks each, 2 appetizers and 3 entrees. We would have continued to sit and order drinks if we didn't feel rushed.

   First visit to Rikasa and my wife and I were thoroughly impressed. Cocktails were professionally made and to my delight they actually had a few choices of gins for a martini. This is one of the few restaurants we have discovered in NEPA that had raw oysters and they were quite fresh. The dinners were excellent. My wife had the veal ragu. The sauce provided a multi-dimensional thrill for the taste buds providing a pallet for the copious shreds of veal. The pasta was perfect and not pasty. I had the veal chop Calabrese. It came exactly as ordered, medium rare, and a mix of peppers to give a hint of spice. The tastes of our meal reflected a very knowledgable and skilled chef and staff. Unfortunately, we were too full to venture into the desserts but maybe next time as there will definitely be a next time.

   Not very busy but service was slow and young staff seemed confused at times. We will definitely return and have been here several times. The absence of the General Mgr was obvious. Still a great place!

   Cool Place with a great bar and upstairs lounge. Service was very good, drinks were average and food was fair at best. I ordered veal Marsala. It wasn’t pounded thin and lacked flavor. I tasted the tuna special. Had a great presentation but also lacked flavor. This restaurant has the potential to be a top Notch choice in the area. It just needs to step it up in the kitchen.

    Great find in Pittston. The town is really coming alive. The restaurant is our new favorite when coming to the area to visit relatives. The food, service and atmosphere was perfect.

    Excellent food & excellent service. Our waitress Angelica was very accommodating & knowledgeable about food & drinks offered. Everything was fine with almost no wait time. Very impressive! Great atmosphere too!

    Everything was excellent. The Tuna Tartare was so delicious and could have been an entree but had to have the veal bolognese too! Outstanding. Drinks and service were perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

    Brunch for Mothers Day party of 6 after hearing so many good things about Rikasa. They had a limited menu for the day, but still was great. Service was even better. Server and staff friendly. My wife and I will absolutely come back again.

    Brunch was delicious, service was great, and the place was beautiful. However very off-put by the fact that the second they returned the check from being paid, they told us we’d have to leave because the next reservation would be there in 10 minutes. We were not sitting around chatting and wasting time just sitting at the table, we literally ate, paid the bill, and we’re told we had to get up. Never in my life experienced that. Don’t know if we’ll return because of that and it’s a shame, everything was so good we were contemplating asking to see a dinner menu so we could plan our next trip back.

    While we’ve had many great meals/experiences here, this meal was not one of them. Our server was not on point (never got bread, got my husbands order wrong) and my $42 halibut special was served with bland plain basmati rice (no seasoning, no sauce on the plate) although the halibut itself was delicious. I realize the cost of running a restaurant has increased exponentially but I also expect the best when I pay this much for a meal. This was not that occasion. Of course we’ll go back because our many previous visits were outstanding. I hope that can continue.

    This was our first time at Rikasa. We wanted to go to some place different for my son and son-in-laws birthdays. We are from the Back Mountain and typically don't venture to other areas out of convenience, but we will now. The food was excellent, kudo's to the chef and kitchen staff, the Bartender made a terrific cosmo. Believe it or not, it is very hard to find a good cosmo in the Wyoming Valley; the staff at Rikasa has it down. Not to mention our favorite waiter from Connor's in Dallas has relocated to Rikasa. I think we found our new hang out.

    Great waitress. Very overpriced. For the amount of food and the pricing it doesn’t match. Food was fair. Had the chicken Melanese and it only came with spring greens. No vegetable or potato.

    Our favorite restaurant. We enjoy having an excellent meal and an enjoyable time. Our waiter made sure we had whatever utensils were needed and made a point to stop by our table to check on us. You can be sure we will make a point of returning often

    So my wife and I are very critical when it comes to restaurants. We have to say that Rikasa meets our expectations. Our server, Shana was exceptional and very attentive to our needs and asks. Her attitude added to the pleasant surroundings we found at Rikasa. The food was well prepared and we both had specials. I had the scallops with risotto and my wife had sausage pappadelli. Both dishes we excellent except for a little too much sausage in my wife’s dish. Overall with the exception of sitting at a high top at the bar as opposed to the dinning room, our experience was very good and we will be back to Rikasa again. We have visited all but one of the restaurants owed by this group and we have not been disappointed. You too will enjoy your experience.

    Made reservations for my parents for Valentine's Day and my dads salad came out and he asked for extra dressing and they stated he couldn't have any because they didn't want to run out of dressing!

    Reporting as a part of a table of 6. We found this dining experience to be exquisite. The wild game cassoulet and tuna tartar was a perfect opener served with each of our own specialty cocktails. *Try the smoked martinis!!* Our main course meals were prepared and displayed to perfection and a quick pop in by the chef where we expressed or gratitude for his finely prepared meals made the whole experience a memorable one. Keep up the great work, we hope everyone else enjoys this experience as much as we all did. Thank you!!

    My only complaint is staff was not wearing masks and I didn’t feel safe in that respect. That’s the only reason I am not giving them 5 stars. Everything else was excellent.

    Delicious dinner as always! Arancini and Zuppa di Clams for appetizers, Pork Chop Calabrese and Penne Pasta with Shrimp and Lump Crab in Garlic Cream Sauce for entrees- prepared perfectly. Our servers were attentive, but we were not rushed. Enjoyed after-dinner drinks upstairs at “The Joint” Speakeasy.

    Went on a Tuesday so not a lot of customers. I got the special new York strip which was superb! Crab cakes had a little too much breading but otherwise very tasty. Highly recommend!!
