Riganato Old World Grille
Our ingredients are all fresh, locally sourced, and organic when available. They are traditionally prepared, producing classic old world flavors. It's old country tradition with modern culinary twist!
Great food and service was excellent as always! Fantastic gluten free menu
This was our first time, we recently moved here. Staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. We all chose different entrees and sides so we could share. The food was well prepared and we enjoyed the meals. The desserts are perfectly sized. We will be back
Thanks again for another wonderful dinner!!
Great Food, service, and staff!
This is one of those restaurants that must be experienced if you have the chance. Its is smaller and can be tough to get into on the weekends. The entire staff caters to your party like you are a guest in their home. The menu has all you would want. The food preparation is as good as I have had. I highly recommend the experience.
I understand that sometimes people get sick while at work but when our waitress didn't return for almost 25+ minutes to finish taking our drink orders and entree orders we asked a busboy to find her. Finally someone informed us that she went home sick and another waitress came to take our order a few more minutes after that. The food was mediocre and our friend who ordered the "special" (Fish) said it was VERY over salted and was full of bones. They did take her entree off the check but the rest of the entrees were just ok. Don't think we'll be returning to this restaurant.
Just happened to stumble on to Riganato’s. From appetizers to dessert, everything was spectacular. Wonderful service and a quaint setting. Highly recommend!
This is my 4th or 5th time coming to Riganato's. This time I brought a girlfriend that had been at this location many years ago, but was a steak house or something. Anyway, she LOVED it and was so glad I suggested it.
Stopped for dinner on New Year's eve.....Terrific food! The chargrilled octopus appetizer on mixed greens was delicious as was the bronzino fish entree. Both were prepared simply yet perfectly. My wife had the pasta with mixed vegetables and that was very good also. Too full for dessert, although the choices seemed delicious. Server was very friendly and attentive, but not overly so.
Amazing service and delicious food!
Our food was very good. My husband had the garlic mashed potatoes with pork chops. He said the pork chops were very good, the mashed potatoes were too garlicky for his taste. It was New Year's Eve, our waitress was good, but not very friendly and treated us very rushed, but overall the service was good and understandable for the night. They seemed to have regular customers that were more important to them at the time.... I would give them another try for a special evening out.
The food is fantastic and they have one of the most a robust gluten free menus around.
Always a great time! Food is the best. Will be back again soon.
The staff was great and wanted to please. The food was really tasty. My husband had the pasta special and the rest had the fresh fish which was sea bass. The only down side was the table next to us had a very noisy child and it was cold in our room. We will go back.
This is the best Italian - Greek fusion restaurant in DuPage County...period!!! Their meat balls and lamb chops are unequaled in Chicagoland...maybe even in the Midwest.
We have eaten there about 6 times and each time it was excellent. Best lasagna ever. Everyone is friendly.
Rignato is the best. A cozy neighborhood restaurant with truly outstanding food. Nick and Jimmy cook up great meals every time. Great value as well. I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu and have never been disappointed.
This quaint restaurant is top notch. Everything is excellent! It’s about a 40 minute drive from where we live, but it’s well worth it!
Love this place! Food is always great and the service is outstanding.
The food was flavorful and abundant. Our server, Karen, was attentive and helpful. When it came time for dessert Karen told us the dessert portions were on the small side. This was good to know because a little tiramisu is a nice ending to an Italian meal. It was great.
Great food, fantastic service. It was a warm and inviting atmosphere. They were able to accommodate for a severe allergy and all went well. Truly appreciate the great experience!
Our first time here and a great experience. Excellent food, excellent service, met the owner who is awesome.
We will be back!
First time here. Food was great, nice atmosphere, friendly owner. Will be back soon!
We had a reservation for 12, but only 9 showed. The space was perfect and the server was great! Our party had the fried zucchini, beets and octopus for appetizers, YUM! We had 2 pizzas, the salmon, several pasta dishes and burgers and everyone loved their food! The flourless chocolate cake was fabulous! Would definitely come back again.
This was our first time to Riganato Old World Grill. It won’t be our last! The restaurant was busy and we understand why. It was worth the 30 minute drive. The quaint old house setting only enhanced the overall dining experience. The food (appetizers and entrees) were perfectly done and tasty, and the waitress and staff were friendly, outgoing and attentive. A real neighborhood gem! Can’t wait to go back!
Very tasty and varied dishes are offered. Very strong on fish and seafood dishes as well as pasta. Good selection of beer and wine, but cocktails somewhat limited. Unclear whether Greek or Italian restaurant. I saw two large dining rooms and they were both filled to the brim with customers on a Wed evening. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
The food is great, the table and service was lacking. Our dining experience with a 3 person reservation started out with us being placed in the back corner of the room blocking the exit door. We ordered appetizers and drinks which arrived quite promptly. Our meals took just a bit longer, but for a nice fresh delicious meal, who cares! The meals were delicious (definitely try the meatballs). We ordered a second round of drinks and as the restaurant got busy, our waitress forgot about us. Our second round of drinks were never delivered but appeared on the bill which they removed and apologized. Will definitely try again and recommend that you do too, hopefully with a better table and fantastic service to go along with the great food.
Hadn't been here in quite a while, but was pleasantly surprised. Waiter was prompt and attentive, did not have to wait long for drinks and food even though it was busy. Owner checked up on us and even sat with us to discuss carry out for the holidays. Only issue was they did not have our reservation made through Open Table.
We Dined on the Rigatoni Primavera w/added chicken and a bottle of wine....excellent. Cozy dining room in a beautiful older house. We've never been disappointed.
food great. our seating was jammed very close to other tables. noise level very high.
The food and service was great, but it was so loud, we were practically shouting at each other. Parking is a nightmare. Overflow parking is across Rt.38. Attempting to cross 4 lanes of traffic, without a crosswalk is awful.
Great service and Very Good Well Prepared and Presented Food! All Good! We’ll go again soon.
We ate here for the first time, it was delicious. And that was for every course. Service was great, just a great place to go.
Riganato is the best restaurant that I have been to in quite some time. Delicious food, generous portions, amazing ambiance. We will be back again!
The food as usual was excellent. Always like the variety of fish and meat dishes. Best kept secret in Geneva and one of the best restaurants in the Fox Valley area.
We really enjoy eating at Riganato’s . It’s like eating dinner with the family. The food is outstanding and it’s one of Geneva’s gems.
What a gem!! The menu is really good. The food was absolutely delicious! The portions were great. The atmosphere was upbeat and friendly. Would definitely recommend. We'll be going there often.
