Sunday brunch in the pub section was very nice with a fire going in the fireplace. Eggs and sausage were fine the classic Eggs Benedict was good but the Canadian bacon was fatty and although the coffee was good and strong it was not hot enough.

no parking available. Only one server for entire rear outside dining. Took 30 min to get a drink.

The back patio area near the canal was the perfect outdoor dining spot! Plenty of space for social distancing. The wait staff was friendly, service was prompt, and the food delicious! The best part was my hand-crafted cocktail. The “French Riviera” was amazing! Great find in this cute town.

That was the largest and tastiest chunk of salmon I've ever had. Saving grace on cold evening with outside door wide open was the roaring fire, well attended. Local comfort haven.

Great location, fabulous looking menu, but the quality of the food did not match the expectations. It was mentioned that the chef may have changed, or was off on that Sunday, but major grievances in the quality - candied Brussels Sprouts served raw, reheated potatoes, over cooked steak and eggs, sweet potato fries limp and tepid.

The server was great and apologetic, but so much potential to be better. We will give it one more try, just in case it was a bad day, because the location and the building are just great...

Everything was great! Nice atmosphere and great service.

Waited 90 minutes for our food. Came out cold. This place used to be excellent, COVID killed it. Service is pathetic, owners/management totally absent, they aren't even trying.

Fantastic service from our waitress and food prepped and served with utmost care. Food was outstanding!

We went with our adult children for my husband’s birthday dinner. Mentioned on open table. There was nothing mentioned about it. At all. Why ask if it’s a special occasion if the restaurant does nothing special? Then the Zoodles. So mushy and way overpriced. Couldn’t eat. Service, slower than molasses. There were an abundance of staff and few tables taken. Restaurant was empty. You need to step it up in all areas: food, service and value.

Service was bad waited an hour for a salad. And food was not good. Place is charming & staff is nice but...

Great food and service from this quaint, historic inn off the beaten track

We came to celebrate my friend's birthday who is the only vegetarian in our group. Sadly, there was only one option for her (zoodles) and her meal was the smallest. Service was mediocre. We all loved the ambience of sitting outside down by the bike trail. Unsure if we would try again.

Pleasant experience. Meal and service was fine. All in all it was good, not a wow, but good.

A great place along the river to dine casually or formal. The menu is full of favorites for our group which keeps us coming back week after week. Also, on Tuesday nights, the Inn has a very fun game of trivia occurring while you are dining...much better than any other trivia contest and just ad added spark to our dinner.

I love coming to this place - the food never disappoints! And drinks were just as good. We sat outdoors which i always do especially during the summer. Normally we have been seated in front or at the side of the restaurant, this time around...we sat outside right by the canal - it was beautiful, quiet and the fairy lights added a romantic touch. I must say, those gnats/mosquitoes were really bad (i think because we sat near the canal) BUT, it was a very minor nuisance and we enjoyed our dinner. We will be back again and again because this place is a treasure. The hostess and servers, were lovely!

The service was a little slow but the view is so nice it made up for it

Even with reservations. We were denied a roofed outdoor section due to potential rain fall, and put in a room that smelled like a campfire hoodie the next day. Got up and left before the drinks were poured. Not the ideal environment to have a $200 meal, heard wonderful things. Will have to try another day.

Our food was incredibly delayed (took an hour for our appetizers to arrive) and the place did not seem terribly concerned about Covid. We probably will not be back.

One of my favorite places any time of day.....on this recent visit we stopped for a late lunch/early dinner. The place does an amazing job creating a comfortable environmet even with COVID regulations. Friendly staff, great food, and a terrific atmosphere!

The food was super good and the waitress was sensitive with our Covid concerns. We were sat away from others and felt safe. The scenery on the front porch was awesome with the most scenic of the Delaware River Bridges right in front of the restaurant.

We went for our anniversary. We dined outside on the second floor balcony. It was so peaceful and quaint. Beautiful views. The food was delicious and the server was very friendly. We had a great time.

Very disappointed with the food and ambiance. We were seated in the back in a dark and dingy room. Service was great. Food overpriced and not good at all.

Service was poor. Wait staff would disappear and couldn’t be found. Were seated in a very dark room all by ourselves. Even with Covid 19 this room was uninspiring. Appetizer of meat bruschetta made with hot house tomatoes in the middle of summer. Meat was tough. Entree of crab encrusted salmon. Hardly any crab and salmon way overcooked. Served with Brussels sprouts that were hard as a rock.

Great atmosphere in a beautiful setting. The warm crab dip is always delicious and so was the lobster macandcheese

Been wanting to go here for years. Was pleasantly surprised and will return. Excellent service, food and value. You guys done good!

Ate outside by the canal. Good distancing from other diners- nice overall experience. Service a little bit slow (1 late drink), but they took it off the bill without us asking. It’s tough to maintain the same smooth service. Food was excellent!
