Excellent food and excellent service. Will definitely visit again soon!
Suncrest is so lucky to have this place in walking distance. They don’t do a lot but what they do is exceptional. From their Pizzas to their Burger you can’t go wrong. It never hurts to take a drive to a place where the mountain and city views are amazing.
Food was great
Service was great
Mask mandate was not advertised and left us stranded
The food was amazing and the location perfect!
Beautiful spot, service and food was very good and prompt. Excellent breakfast options.
We loved it and look forward to returning! We have never been served so quickly! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful, especially with the Christmas lights out front
Adorable family or romantic place. Ambiance was breath-taking ! Food on the other hand was lack-luster. Not only was there not a lot of flavors but over-cooked and bland over all. Ridge Burger is read like it's amazing item but when the menu says certified angus beef, it's missing the label that certified it and the taste that matches that brand. We had to bus our own tables as the waitress would drop off items and not pick up anything on the table. So overall I gave this a 3 because if the manager could step up the cooks and service people this would be over the top amazing !!!!
Proposed to my fiance this New Year's Eve at the Ridge. We were already engaged, but I wanted to propose again in a more memorable and public way. The manager and staff were so friendly and accommodating! I dropped off flowers shortly after opening at 5pm. I arrived with my fiance at 8:30pm for our reservation. The place wasn't too busy, and the wonderful Mikael Lewis provided live music. After some truly delicious appetizers, drinks, and pizza, they delivered the flowers at 9pm as planned. Mikael grabbed everyone's attention, and I made my dream proposal. Couldn't have been more happy with the ambiance and outcome of the night. Thank you Ridge Cafe for such a special memory! We'll be back soon :)
Went here due to high rating on OpenTable. The food was good, but nothing special. The pizzas we ordered had a lot of char on them from the wood fired oven, but the crust wasn't cooked through. My son's hot Italian sandwich was good, but again nothing special. The price point of most menu items are way overpriced for what you get. With drinks and 3 entrees, we spent $100, which for this kind of place is really over the top. We will likely not go to this restaurant again. The ambience was festive and they had a flamenco guitarist playing which was pleasant. This is more like a lunch cafe place, not really a dinner place per se. Not a good value. Also our waitress was slow and did not bring correctly ordered items to table twice. Not a great experience.
Pizza was soggy.
Great food. We came on a Wednesday evening and they had a music performer playing classical Spanish guitar. Will come again.
Couldn't hear a thing on Wednesday (live music), neither could our waitress who brought a drink we didn't ask for. Cheese pizza is 'special' in that it has no sauce, making it a real pricey cheesy bread like from little Ceasars. I feel like one can assume there's sauce on a 'pizza' unless told otherwise, but it seems the other way around. GF crust tasted like cardboard, it was burned black all around the edges and was also lukewarm.
Hi Sean. We do live music every wednesday and sunday so it will get a bit noisy in there on those days. The "cheese" pizza you're referring to is actually our "quattro" pizza traditionally made. It does have sauce, the olive oil, we denote that on the menu. Gluten free crust is gluten free crust, I've never had a good one. The dough that we make from scratch every day is the way to go. It was charred because we cook in a 750 degree oven, not a conveyor belt like little caesars.
First time there and it was worth the drive. Staff was pleasant and very nice and the food was good. Will be going back to check out brunch and the live music on Wednesdays.
Great service, ambience and delicious food! Definitely going to be a regular there!
Always perfect. We love it here and make sure to visit weekly!
What a cool little place and a beautiful drive to get there. The shrimp and the pizza were AMAZING!
Food and service is always great. Relaxed atmosphere and festive decor for the season.
What a gem at the top of the mountain pass. The gluten free pizza crust was the best my wife has ever had. I enjoyed the shrimp scampi, delicious. And we topped it off with delicious GF chocolate mousse cake. We will go back.
Nick our waiter was so fun. He knew the menu and made great suggestions. Manager stop by our table to check on us. This new management team is awesome! We will definitely be going back.
Not much comes with the meal. I ordered lasagna, and that’s all I got. No salad, no bread. One little square of lasagna for $20. It was good, but value felt off.
The guitarist (acoustic Spanish version) was fantastic! The setting is beautiful.
The food and service was great as usual but I’m not sure the live music works in this venue. We were seated next to the performers and ended up having a very hard time conversing with each other. Maybe just a guitarist and no vocals or amps.
Awesome service. Food and ambiance
Our server was excellent. I’m sorry I don’t have her name with me right now - I know she said she drives around 30 minutes or miles to get to work and that was ok because she loves working at ridge cafe.
The sav blanc was excellent - ottos. The lager beer was very good.
The live music was also very good.
We had bacon wrapped dates and meatballs for appetizers - both very good. The dates seemed a little cold and might have been better if they came out sizzling… if possible. The meatballs were excellent.
We had the blanco pizza and it was a perfect size to share - the crust was amazing!
We’d definitely go back regularly but we live in PA and it’ll be a while before we return.
It is our Thursday night spot. Love the place.
First time for brunch. It was great.
Pizza was good but was cold for me.
The music portion (Riley) was unforgettable. Food could use little more imagination, but the overall ambiance was fantastic.
Great restaurant with extremely friendly service and top notch food. Highly recommended
The service was good- what you’d expect with what you pay at this type of restaurant.
The food was very disappointing. It was clear that half of my plate (and my wife’s plate) was reheated maybe in a microwave. The potatoes looked crispy but had a similar consistency to leather. They were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out all morning. The side of bacon also looked normal but was cold. We both commented on how fast we received our food after ordering. That usually is a good thing but just added to our suspicion that our meal wasn’t made-to-order.
We love the ridge! Great food, and great people.
Great service and wonderful food. The wood fire pizzas are a must order! Gorgeous patio and easy parking.
Love this place. Great food. Awesome location. Very relaxing and enjoyable for brunch on a Sunday or Beer and pizza for lunch.
Good atmosphere had live music and the food is amazing. Really good service and waitress was super nice
Great food and service. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
We really like this restaurant for lunch and dinner. fun atmosphere and very attentive staff.
Happy to sit outside with heater! Server was excellent and attentive. Extraordinary service and a delightful personality.
Well worth the drive. Excellent food and great service.
My husband and I ate at Ridge Cafe for my birthday dinner. The service and ambience were good! But to say the food was a huge disappointment is an understatement. The bread seemed stale and was very oily and hard. We split a Caesar salad which we ordered with no anchovy, when we got it, it had anchovy which wasn't that big of a deal we just took it off, but the salad seemed like it was left over from the day before, watery and flavorless. Also we weren't informed there would be a $2 charge to split it or we would have just shared the same plate. Both of our entrees, the Penne Bolognese and Meatball Sandwich were very bland and flavorless. We were going to order dessert but didn't want to risk it. I do not recommend.
We enjoyed the meal very much. The salad with shrimp/salmon was delicious and healthy. Thank you for your good. positive service. The servers were very positive.
