this is our favorite restaurant! the chefs tasting is the best! EXECUTIVE CHEF DANIEL is the best!
Great service and friendly staff! We've been here multiple times for lunch and dinner and will continue to come back.
Great food unfortunately we had a terrible Waiter. Would definitely go back just hope we don’t get the same guy.
The wine list doesn't offer enough red options in the $40 - $65 price point. The list skews heavily in the $80 - $250 direction, which isn't commesurate with they food they're serving. It'd be an ideal place to bring your own bottle and pay the corkage fee.
Great food and service
Food was fantastic, as usual.
Beverages were nice and strong as usual.
Service was very friendly, informative, and attentive, as usual.
We are always very happy with our experience at Rider.
They service was not very good- they seemed under staffed.
Our petrole sole and pork chops were amazing. Will be back before the theatre again.
Amazing poached mussels, wagyu tartare, steelhead and prawns. Wish we could eat there every night!
My husband and I took our son and two granddaughters to dinner before going to a play at the Paramount Theatre. The atmosphere is very hip and fun, our server was excellent. Very helpful in making recommendations and attentive. The food was outstanding! We had sturgeon, steelhead and steak with delicious, creative accompaniments to each dish. Overall, a wonderful, special dining experience! And just a quick walk to the theatre!
This was our first visit to Rider. Valentines Weekend in Seattle was delicious. We had the Chef’s Tasting Menu, which was uniquely tasty. Our waiter, Justin, was efficient and had a great sense of humor. We highly recommend Rider as a place to taste great food.
Dozen Oysters to start, our server chose a perfect combination of tastes as we described what we like, he knew the selection very well. Sunchoke dish with the bonito and steelhead roe, just amazing, one of the best dishes we have ever tasted. Main course was the 14 day aged steak. It was cooked to perfection. One of the best, if not the best meal were have ever had. Made a perfect valentines meal for my wife and I
Great food and great portion sizes for a restaurant of this caliber. Super fresh ingredients and delicious preparation!
Very nice place located right by Pacific Place. Service was outstanding. The food was very good but I would not say 5 stars. The brussel sprouts were very smokey and a bit too spicy (even though I like spicy). the NY Strip was good, but I could have used a bit larger of a portion. The calamari was excellent and the rolls are addicting.
Unfortunately the restaurant would not alter anything to support diabetic needs.
Waitperson Jess was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu & made some excellent recommendations! Good was well prepared, tasty, and the cocktails were well crafted.
What a wonderful dinner! Our service was outstanding, and food was delicious. I had the sturgeon and my husband had the steelhead and prawns. Wishing the prawns had been pre-cracked as they were messy to get out of the shell, but otherwise a terrific meal. As others have said, the rolls are not the be missed; they're divine. Thank you, Rider, for a fun evening out!
Meeting up with a friend after 10 yrs
This was our first time eating at Rider. We selected it for a pre- performance brunch because of its proximity to the Paramount. Our server, Marielle, was wonderful and made the overall experience most enjoyable. We will definitely be returning for future performances, although we will probably be selecting more traditional breakfast menu items (really recommend toning down the cole slaw on the crab toast, - it really overpowered the crab. Everything else was great).
Recommended by one of our SF chef friends who worked with him at Boulevard-this restaurant did not disappoint! One of the most amazing dining experiences I have had in a long time. Chef Dan and team turned out amazing food (taste and visually speaking), service impeccable! Great wine list. Wow! Can’t wait to dine here again!
Fresh excellent food. Loved the Pappy’s whiskey flight. All the entrees and cocktails were unique and delicious. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Servers cleared our area and provided fresh plates and utensils, which isn’t a given in fine dining anymore.
The food was fantastic. I had the duck four ways, which was perfectly prepared. The donuts were also great. The atmosphere was also lovely. One of the best meals I've enjoyed in a long time.
Went prior to a show at the Paramount and they were accommodating to our schedule. It was the first that the server asked. Food was good and so was the service.
We had a fantastic meal! This was our second visit to Rider and it is a great place to grab dinner before a show at the Paramount. As usual the flavors were unique and perfectly paired. We will certainly be back again!
Food was amazing
Amazing dinner!!! Pricey but worth it. Service was knowledgeable and friendly!
Great food and service. Good location from Paramount Theater.
3 straight bad lunches there. I’m done.
The food is so fresh and interesting. I have ordered the duck, pork, veggie pastas and all were amazing. The fries ,the pull apart rolls and poached pear salad are a must.
The food was fabulous! Service was good, but there is an opportunity for improvement in description of wine/dishes in tasting menu. It was also a bit slow. Our table was in a terrible spot in a walkway to kitchen, and the workers kept bumping into me. Overall, good. I'll go back and ask to sit somewhere else.
The food was delicious and the service was great. I was surprised when we were done with a show at the Paramount, we went back to the bar and last call was 10pm.
Exciting, delicious food with Pacific NW theme. I had the pear toast with pine nuts and Douglas Fir syrup, followed by sturgeon. The open range - with flames - added to the atmosphere. Fun evening. Recommend.
After drinks our server never came back and the other server we flagged down to put our order in with forgot to put our order in, we left for a show with having 2 cocktails (1 friend was never even asked if she wanted a drink) and no dinner.
Excellent food - unique, flavorful and well balanced. Great service too - thank you!
The service and food was fabulous. I can’t wait to go back
The crab toast one of the best things about the meal. Loved sitting at the fire pit. Overall great experience.
Sat around for an hour, got served drinks and one potato chip (with a small spoon of tuna and a few eggs of caviar). It was ok, but for the price, not close to fine dining. Had to ask if the rest of the food was coming 30 mins later. They then brought it right away, apologized, but at that point it was obvious that this was not going to be a meal worth $95 per person for their set menu (which was not a thing when we made the reservation, only 2 weeks ago). We paid for the drinks, tipped well because the waiter was the only person serving the whole room on New Years, and then we left. Definitely won’t be returning or recommending.
New Year's Eve menu was fabulous and did not disappoint. The oysters were fresh, the steak had fabulous flavor and the service was on point. Love this place and cannot wait to return!
This is an all time favorite in Seattle. The food is out of this world and the staff is some of the friendliest that you’ll ever meet. We especially love Rachel, I would definitely ask for her!
First time visit for us. The prefixe menu was wonderful. Service great. The wine pairing was enjoyable with our dinner. A splendid way to celebrate New Years Eve. the evening was perfect. Will return to try the regular menu.
