Reunion - was a nice meal
Bad service
Went in with family for my sisters anniversary. The restaurant smelt really bad. Of putting when eating your cold served food. That's was the let down
Food was great, a bit overpriced. The food was served 30 mins late.
Starters/Chats are Nice, how ever main dishes panner butter maslala, butter chicken are not of good quality. Service is of poor standard.
would recommend, definitely for anniversary's they were super fab
Service was it very good, I had call the waiters several times for attention. I had ask for my order to be taken, had to ask for my bill, etc. No option on Valentine’s Day to order from A La Carte. Overall really poor for the price we paid per head.
Needs a total reprice of the menu and fire all the staff at Slough.
Service let this place down which was a great shame. It was not busy for 10pm but people around us who arrived later than us were served before us. Other tables looked like they were being made a fuss of and no waiter/waitress came over to us. Other than giving us out starter and main both at the same time, no one came to us.
Overall food was great, ambience was fantastic but service was a huge let down.
We had a great evening there. Ordered Keema Pav And Chicken Biriyani. Both were delicious and even the ambience was good . And a special Thanks to Anna , for the kind gesture and delicious dessert which made our day more happening.
They didn't have stuff that was on the menu and we were vegetarian so had limited options
Amazing local Indian cuisine restaurant. Ana and fresten are amazing
No acknowledgement of my husband birthday despite having advised them
Good location with close parking. Nice layout and the food is very good. Service was little slow (we seemed to have been forgotten). Otherwise very good and will go again with friends.
I visited Rickshaw road Sunday (24.11.19) for my leaving meal with work colleagues. The lady who served us was very nice, friendly and prompt. The food was nice and I would definatly recommend to a friend. The decor is very nice and authentic. It is just the type of restaurant Slough needs!
Good service, nice food, friendly staff, Good looking venue, clean.
The starters were amazing! However was a bit disappointed with the main course.
We had good time at Rickshaw Road, starters are really good while mains are moderately well made but their desert menu range isn’t that great. It’s pricey for drinks and desert menu while starts are main course prices are just about right. Make sure watch prices before you order if you don’t want your final bill to bite you. But overall experience is very good
The cuisine was wonderful
The naan bread was fantastic
Curries flavoursome
Service was professional
Highly recommended
Fantastic place to be with family & friends. Very good ambience & very good food options.
Great food. Good service. Went for my daughters 6th birthday. Bottles are overly priced. Charged £75 for a bottle 70cl Smirnoff vodka when the price tag says £14.79 on the cap lol
Ripped my jeans on the display food as I was walking back to the table and all they offered were free shots at the end of the night.
Can’t fault the food though. Chicken and lamb was delicious. Starters are great!
Lovely ambience, good food and drinks. However portions could have been bigger. We also found it quite overpriced compared to other restaurants. Definitely worth a visit but not on the regular list!
Pros- Food was fantastic A1. Restaurant atmosphere and decor is fantastic.
Cons- Service was slow , it took them 15minutes to ask for our drink order. Tip to management ask the staff to come around ask if the customer would like more drinks or any thing else. I had to chase the staff down even though the restaurant was half empty.
Luckily the food was worth the wait, if they sort the service out this is a 5/5 restaurant.
I will be coming back for sure.
Your starters are good but main course choices and quality has gone down.
Great food, experience and service
Service was very poor. Had to wait so long for our order and table to be cleared. Only two staff were managing whole restaurant.
Staying in hotel locally and found rickshaw rd on google and really glad we did
The staff were lovely nothing too much trouble when we had three children with us.
The decor is original and the food tasty and different from ordinary Curries
Would love to return if we are in area again
Great, authentic decor that has a strong Mumbai street vibe that is colourful, unapologetic and interesting. However, the food took inordinately long to be delivered to our table (rest't was only 25% occupied). Portions were small relative to regular indian rest'ts. Price was high relative to this. We paid close to GBP200 for 2 adults and 2 kids for a meal that took almost 3 hours! Also, the service charge is included on the bill as part of the total and yet does not go to the staff members. You have to tell the waiter to remove it, which by law is our right to not pay, and then a new bill is brought without that in the total.
Amazing place. Been 3 times in just a few weeks and everything been delicious. We are vegetarian and it’s all tasty and plenty of choice. Anyone we have gone with has also been impressed.
A really excellent restaurant, the reviews on Google were not great but the restaurant is fantastic. The food was very authentic and the non-vegetarian sharing platter was superb and there were some very authentic Indian street food dishes on the menu as well. Very good food and definitely worth a visit.
Very nice food. Friendly staff.
Would definitely visit again
We loved the layout of the place and the Rickshaw in the corner looked really good. Good Bollywood tunes in the background. Unfortunately the service was extremely poor, food was really bland with tiny potions and although we did ask for ours to be especially spicy unfortunately this was not the case.
Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking time to post your experience. We are disappointing that couldn't make the food as per your taste, also you felt the portion was very small. It would be very kind if you could send me your details at info@rickshawroad.co.uk. KInd Regards Rickshaw Road Team
First time at Rickshaw Road with a small group of friends for a birthday party. Understated but trendy ambience. Friendly customer service. Great food - including Indian street food, northern and southern Indian cuisine. Would certainly recommend, and yes, I would be visiting again.
Authentic Indian cuisine. Very flavoursome and generous portions. Not as cheap as an average indian restaurant but quality food. Wine rather expensive.
Would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s not worth the trouble of wasting your money on petrol
And driving down to this place. Poor food, incredible long waits for food, high price no zero quality food.
Overall extremely disappointing!
We went for a birthday celebration. Service was good and the starters were delicious. The Dhai puri and paneer tikka was delectable. The mango lassi and mocktails were yummy. The main was disappointing as the dosas we ordered were too crispy and hard to chew on. We did tell the server who apologised and the manager also spoke to us and stated that our feedback had been given to the chef. Overall, it was a nice evening and the service was attentive. I would go back again.
Tasty food and good service, happy to go again.
Food was nice, good portion sizes. Friendly staff and didn’t have to wait too long for food.
90 quid for a family of four which is a joke of which 20 quid was for alcohol so overall 70 quid which was for 2 courses is still very expensive. Too make matters worse food was of sub standard and I would expect much better!!
Also ten quid for service charge is a farce as well, will not be going back their in a hurry !!!
Great food served in a wonderful setting, they’ve really spent time on the decor. We visited on Mother’s Day amd they were very busy, there was not enough staff and consequently the service was slow, however! The waitress did apologise and everyone there did try hard.
