    Calamari was not hot when we got it, and it was a little rubbery. They were completely out of pork chops so I had to make another entree selection. My daughter said her chicken salad sandwich was disgusting. Almost $100 for three of us to eat (with ONE GLASS of wine) for sub-par food... VERY disappointing!

    Absolutely LOVE Rick's for dinner! Whether filet mignon or street tacos, everything is delicious! We've been twice in the last 2 months, and will most *definitely* be returning. The *only* thing I'd change is the lighting level. It's so dim that reading the menu is very difficult. We used the flashlights on our phones, and weren't the only table doing so, either time. I realize this may have been due to recent time change, so keep that in mind.

    Impossible to park with event set up. Restaurant staff seemed unaware and unable to give good directions for parking. Menu was the same as every other steakhouse around. Nothing innovative or interesting. We were hoping for something different from the usual steak, couple of fish choices or fried stuff. But we were hungry and didn’t want to try to find a different place to eat. So Hubby ordered club sandwich. The bread was under toasted and almost soggy. Homemade potato chips were not crispy at all and had little flavor. Salt helped with flavor but not texture. I ordered beef nachos that were mediocre at best. Nothing more than chips, limited taco meat but lots of blank jack cheese. There was a side salsa but it had little flavor. Nachos are hard to screw up but these were really nothing more that a plate of chips with melted cheese. Sorry but will not try again!

    The food was amazing and the place …atmosphere was excellent. Our server was just not very friendly or welcoming to our dining experience. It was a once in a lifetime engagement dinner so we’re a little disappointed at that. Will definitely consider this again in the future.

    Met a dear cousin in law to catch up on our lives. Hailey met us and immediately seated us in a nice quiet area. She gave us plenty of time to read the menu while she served us our drinks and waters. The food was great and we were able to talk and hear each other well! Ambiance was warm and comforting with the dark woods and a bit of sunlight coming through the windows in front looking out to the town square! Hailey also got a to go order ready and timed it to arrive to the table at just the right moment. All in all, a lovely early dinner with someone I truly care about and wanted to pay attention to her words and give us a very nice and healthy fun meal.

    We had gone there in the past an it was pretty good. For our 23rd anniversary I made reservations at 8:00 as we had been told previously this was recommended. Upon walking in, we are immediately hit with a $10 cover charge as they say there is a band playing. I reluctantly agree. We get sat in the bar area, which is very loud as is. I see a band setup but no band. Our waitress, though very polite, seemed very distracted but took our order just the same. About 20 minutes later she brings our food, which is to say she just drops the food and runs. She failed to notice we had no table setting and burned off before we could say anything. We sat about another 5 minutes thinking maybe she had noticed and was getting silverware. Realizing, she was not coming back, I had to go search for someone to get us some silverware. The food was fair but the steak had pretty much been cooked twice but was still edible. After an hour or so, still no band, we paid the check (which she did that very promptly) we left. I hope Rick's makes the money I spent stretch bas I will definitely put this on the No Fly List for future visits. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

    We went for our anniversary. I really had hoped the steak and crab but they were out if crab. We ordered the chicken fried steak then a ribeye. Both were good. The crawfish beignets were probably the most memorable of the meal. The cabernet was also very good.

    The food was excellent but the service was terrible!! We were not met at the door we had to seek someone out in order to be seated. Everything took way too long. We waited snd waited in order to get our dessert. It was my birthday and a special occasion. I was asked if it was a special occasion but they didn’t make it special. We might not go back. Certainly not high on our list.

    We are new to town and went to Rick's for a very special 40th birthday. We actually stopped at the speakeasy next door before the dinner reservation and had oysters and a nice cocktail. It was a very nice experience. Rick's restaurant itself seemed historic and we loved that about it. However our waitress at dinner was not attentive in the least and rarely checked on us even though we spent $300+ on dinner for 3 people. The food was average (2 filets and chicken fried chicken) at best. Needless to say we won't be a repeat diner at Rick's.

    Service was slow and inattentive. Oysters- raw and grilled were really good. My steak, ordered medium rare was medium or medium well. Charred on the outside and lost its seasoning. I was disappointed frankly.

    Wonderful vibe to this place. You walk in the front doors to a dark paneled,old style bar, deep lounge seating and a glass top coffee table complete with magazines on the left. Through the archway is an inviting dining area and through glass door on the far right is a courtyard worthy of any establishment in New Orleans. The calamari was the best I have had in ages and I could have eaten the homemade remalaude with a spoon. The fettuccine Alfredo made 2 meals. A definite recommendation.

    We were seated and served drinks right away. I thought this was a good sign for things to come. The salad was middle of the road. Nothing too special; crisp iceberg lettuce, a couple cherry tomatoes and few slices of cucumber. The buttery toasted baguette slice was the redeeming item. My shaved rib eye sandwich tasted like reheated leftover steak from last weekends bbq. The jus needed salt and "more" beefiness. I did enjoy the house made chips. My companions beef tips were the highlight of lunch. Tender and rich over steamed rice. The portion was more than adequate. My impression: the lunchtime "cooks" didn’t quite have their heart into the meal prep. I believe we will try them one more time , perhaps for an evening meal. Maybe the dinner staff will have a better handle on the menu. I’m still in search…

    Our first time to Rick’s and hopefully won’t be the last. Heath made our experience one of the best we have had out in a long time. Great drinks, calamari was awesome, Filet was cooked to perfection, and you MUST save room for the bread pudding. We sat on the patio, music was on point and ambiance took you to New Orleans. It was fantastic!

    All four people in our party enjoyed their meal very much. The service started out pretty good but our waitress "disappeared for about 15 minutes towards the end and we came close to missing the start of our show at the Liberty.

    Food was good but both my wife and I ordered medium rare filets and they came out overcooked medium to medium well. Our server never asked how the food was and was generally unengaged. Not a memorable dining experience.

    Rick’s is our go to date night spot and typically have excellent service and tasty food. We’ve been coming here for more than 20 years, but tonight was off. Service was rushed and our server was forgetful Didn’t receive a drink menu or wine menu. Bar drinks were not consistent with previous visits. Recipe was definitely off and was told there’s nothing we can do since they’re made in batches. Food would have been great, but potatoes were under seasoned and I didn’t get the salt and pepper I requested when the salads came…until I had finished my entree. We’ll certainly be back, but the night was not as great as I would have hoped.
