Lovely birthday celebration. We sat on the sofas and then moved to the high table for our meal. Lovely food and drinks. Great atmosphere and enjoyed by all.

On arriving, we didnt get told what food items on the menu were in stock or not, so we assumed everything was okay, when they came to order, both items we ordered, they had 'ran out of' which was annoying for both of us. When we arrived there was also a big baby shower happening on one side of the restaurant, we got sat right next to them, this made us feel awkward and ruined the time for us as i feel like for big events a certain room should be allocated, or atleast the tables surrounding

We really enjoyed lunch out on Saturday! Lovely friendly staff. Such a nice atmosphere too. Really enjoyed the food and wine selection.

The service was very slow. We waited a long time for someone to take a drinks order. We then had to ask if we could place an order for food. The food took a very long time to be served. Also to note there was very few veggie friendly main meals.

I really enjoyed Rickerby Retreat and found the food and drink to be of high quality. Burgers and Falafel Wraps we’re key winners here - both very fresh, juicy and delicious. The ambience is very pleasant too and lovely views of the park but can get cooler on the terrace at a night and a little spooky with limited lighting. Service is acceptable - lacks personalisation and took a little while at times but still not terrible. Value was okay too.
