Fantastic food and service was attentive. Spacing between tables was excellent so we felt comfortable to enjoy our wonderful dining experience with good friends.
The atmosphere was really great and the service and food was amazing and we planning to go back there again
Fantastic roof top dining! Elegant styled restaurant with delicious food and spectacular views!
Our wait person was very good. Oysters were good and gumbo was outstanding. My wife's salmon was great. However my duck two ways had to be returned for being over cooked. Between the gumbo and main course there was a forty minute wait.
Had a great experience but table was not set n ready nor was candle lit
Food and service in dining room was exceptional. Tables around us brought young children who were extremely loud and running around but that is not fault to the restaurant. After dinner we sat at bar and no one asked us if we wanted anything for a good ten minutes. We had to interrupt a tender to get service and bar was only half full with three tenders. Probably will go back mainly for the dining room.
I went for my birthday. They had a birthday card on the table signed by all the staff. And when they brought my complimentary dessert, they also brought a sparkler - very cool. The food was excellent.
The food is great, however, the staff does not pay attention to details and several unfortunate interactions came close to spoiling our dinner. Would I go back? Probably not.
Enjoyed dining outdoors at Level Ten. Service was amazing. Food was excellent. Ambiance was wonderful.
If you are looking for a well-staffed up scale restaurant with outdoor dining, Level 10 is an excellent choice. Plenty of easy parking, too.
Great location and menu options. Convenient. Good wine selection.
In the beginning I was confused because of the hostess telling me about the “NO HAT IN THE DINING AREA” policy so I politely took mine off at the stand. You guessed it! 3-5 mins later not one but five or six guys walked in the dining area with ball caps on. But we had a nice waitress which calmed my nerves with this matter and the pan seared grouper was amazing. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars across the board is because of the hostess.
I would have given a 10 if the staff wore masks, however they saw we had ours on and seated us away from most tables and near others wearing masks.
Food and service was excellent.
Excellent friendly service. Great views, good food, and the owner stopping by to inquire how things are going makes this a must try in Spartanburg.
We waited 55 minutes for dinner. The calamari was basically breading. The shrimp and grits were adequate. The grits had the texture of ricotta cheese. I thought the staff was solid. There is no ambiance. It is extremely bright. The floor plan is choppy and has no flow to it. I expected a great deal more.
The nursing home ambience should have been our first clue that the evening would not go as expected. Visiting from Charleston and expected a decent meal from a local recommendation. The wine list is great, to be fair, but it all ends there. Apps, meal all came out at once along with my glass of wine (halfway through my cocktail). Caesar was like 5 pieces of lettuce, grilled oysters marginal. My daughter got fried green tomatoes, clearly from a box. Beef carpaccio was disgustingly thick and drenched in way too much oil, we actually had to send that back bc my daughter couldn’t eat it. I got the dry aged ribeye which was marginal at best, good thing I added a nine dollar scoop of truffle butter. I would give this a 2/10. Our server was great or it would’ve been 1. Really disappointing, and I don’t typically leave negative reviews. My wife and I agreed we honestly would’ve had a better meal at outback.
We had fish vs steak. Both dishes were prepared perfectly. The location is perfect while in town for business.
We met Rick Erwin at his restaurant, Nantucket, in Greenville where we thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service - the total experience. He told us about Level 10 and we couldn't wait to try it - finally a first-class restaurant in Spartanburg -- Not so fast.
Upon arrival we were told we're 10 minutes early and could we wait in the bar because our server is serving another table whatever that meant. How about: "Good evening Mr. and Mrs. F, so nice to have you join us this evening. If you'll give us just a couple of minutes we'll be delighted to seat you." In the bar we're asked "What would you like to drink, or would you like to see the drink menu? " There's an extensive drink menu, why wouldn't you offer that first? Never mind that my drink came 5 minutes after my wife's. Upon seating us, the hostess asked if this was our first time here, then added "Oh, I've never eaten here." What? Our server was very nice, but you could tell she wasn't very experienced in fine dining. The warm bread she told us about...well it never arrived. We started with oysters, then gumbo. With the chef being from New Orleans, expectations were high. Very disappointed - a not very generous serving and you had to search for the rice and shrimp. Then as our entrees arrived the manager comes over to ask "How is everything?" How would we know we haven't even taken a bite. I had the evening's special, a huge bone-in pork chops with a delicious sauce. Very good. Will we go back? No sure. The quality of service staff doesn't match the quality of the food and for $200, you should receive the best of both. While experienced wait staff may be hard to find in Spartanburg -- with proper training they should be able to overcome inexperience. Think the manager at Level 10 should read Danny Meyer's book, Setting the Table (perhaps Rick too).
The steak was awesome and prepared perfectly.
I noticed a mess on the floor on the outside balcony that had not been cleaned up.
I prefer more atmosphere.
The Food was absolutely amazing. The Service was impeccable as well. Will definitely be coming back here
Came in to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The staff had a card written for her when we came in and made us feel very welcome. Food was excellent. Music and service was excellent. Only thing better would’ve been sitting outside to check out the view. But still an amazing night!
The braised veal was superb!!!!
Celebrated 39th anniversary with excellent food and even more excellent service! Our waitress, in spite of being in her ninth month of pregnancy, was always there to take care of us and made a huge effort to get to know us. The only down side was that my husbands margarita was nothing to brag about. Thank you for a very special evening.
we notated in setting up the reservation that we were there celebrating our 10th anniversary and were greeted by a card signed by 8 of the employees on our table-very nice personal touch! although it was a bit pricey, everything was great and well worth it.
One of the best meals I've ever had in Spartanburg. From the cocktail recommendation to the final dessert, the food was phenomenal. The gumbo was a delicious start and the lamb loin had the best blend of flavors. Our server Emily was the best! Can't wait to visit again.
We had such a great dinner tonight! The food was spectacular, service was great! Can't wait to go back!
Food and service were both outstanding!!!
Great atmosphere, great food, and wonderful service from our server-Deanna. We tried the special grilled pork with grits and collards. Collards did need some stems removed but overall very tasty. Spinach ravioli with chicken was excellent. Nice Anniversary dinner!
as always our visit to Level 10 was great. Food was outstanding... Gumbo yum yum. however our waiter never told us what the specials were for the evening. Had to ask for bread and was a bit on the slow side, Other than that another great meal.
Level 10 ambiance is outstanding. Menu selections were unique. Our server was very attentive and personable. Specials arrangements were made for our family birthday. The food was well prepared and delicious.
Amazing food!! Emily is the best!!
Fantastic overall experience!
The food was mediocre. The steak didn’t taste like steak, it tasted like fake meat. The loaded potatoes tasted like something out of the freezer. The peach pie dessert tasted like it was from McDonald’s. Seriously not impressed with the food. The atmosphere inside was ok, I’m sure outside would have been better. Was ridiculously overpriced and will not return.
We visit level 10 each time we are in Spartanburg. Each visit has been a special time together and an escape from the world of activity and responsibilities. A true time away. Food is always delicious and servers attentive.
Never disappoints. Great food, service and the best view in Spartanburg!!
Great food and really great service!!
We will certainly visit again soon,
Food and atmosphere was nice but the service was bad. It took a long time to get appetizers, orders and no other drinks were offered besides alcohol. We had to ask for spoons for our gumbo and you would think that was understood. The people n our party who ordered desserts had to ask for it and after sitting so long they just boxed up to take home.
Great food very clean. The service was poor. Takes forever to get a mixed drink
