   This was our first time at Rick Erwin’s. We loved the food and the service was amazing. Our server Gunner, his asst and Hudson made our dinner so PERFECT! Thank you, we’ll be back!

   It's a very nice restaurant with a great ambience. The menu and food quality are excellent, but the prices are high. Our servers were attentive, very nice, and engaging.

   Second visit to Rick Erwin’s in Clemson and experience was night and day different than my first visit several months ago - in a good/positive way. Based upon this visit, I have to assume that my first visit was a bit of an anomaly. From the hostess greeting through our departure, the meal was much more enjoyable and the food was very good. Tuna appetizer was very well prepared, salads were very good (and portions generous - probably sized to be able to split in all honesty). Steaks (filet) were cooked perfectly, au gratin potatoes and asparagus were the perfect sides and the brownie a la mode was a great way to finish it off. Wait staff (Gunnar?) was attentive and service was prompt but did not feel rushed. Had a chance to briefly connect with Eric, the General Manager who was visible and was scanning the room to make sure everything was in order. Again, overall, much better experience and will definitely return on future trips to Clemson.

   Great food and place… we just didn’t like being put at a super small table against a wall in a little nook of the restaurant. Felt like we were eating dinner in a closet. Ha!

   Great experience, great food, great service and a must place to visit if you are in Clemson. Highly recommend eating here. We have visited often and will be back again and again.
