   We went because we like to support local cuisine and new restaurants. We left hugely disappointed. I had the catch of the day. Not sure when it was caught, but it resembled the thin sole of a child’s shoe, that had been run over in the parking lot several times. It was dry and inedible. For most of our meal, we were the only ones in the restaurant, and the service was poor. We did complain, and we’re given a free wine coupon, to a restaurant that we would never go to again. When the bill came, which was already too much for the quality of food, they added a service charge.

   My wife and I wanted to find a local restaurant for our anniversary dinner. The reviews of Rich's appeared good, so we decided to try it. Our first warnings should have been when the hotel porter hadn't heard of it, and then the taxi driver had no idea where it was... but we pressed on. The location is nice (once found) and the restaurant appearance was clean and fun. We first tried to sit outside, but the local mosquitos were ravenous, so we went inside with the waitress' permission. Our server must have been quite distracted, because she was non-existent for the majority of the evening (it was not a crowded venue). The meal I ordered (Jerk Chicken) was very tasty, but my wife ordered Chicken Quesadillas which were bland and flavorless. The waitress never came to check on us (other wait-staff delivered the food). Overall, it was a miserable experience (except for the one kind waiter who did his best to help, but too late)

   Go to Rich's Aruban Dish in the evening when the lights on the patio are shining. Call to see if JB is playing the steel drums on Thursday!! It will bring you a delight you won't forget on your Aruban vacation!! 4 stars for the food (fajitas and chicken alfredo were great, ribeye and filet so/so). 5 stars and thank you to the service staff - Jefferson is sweet, and the bartender - is it Rich? he is so welcoming and will want to make your night special. Thank you for the funny shot glass at the end of the night you made it special for our guest! Thank you Aruba we miss you :)

   A little bit away from the main restaurants on the palm beach strip, but worth the trip! Wasn't crowded, and the food was great! Also, much more affordable than all the shiny and loud places on the strip with better food.

   The food and service were great! I had the Aruba Flag and the fish was seasoned so well I enjoyed completely.

   One of the best kept secrets in Aruba. They are hidden in the mix but definitely worth the stop. We are a family of six, ordered six completely different plates, and the restaurant did not miss any of our meals. I was very impressed on presentation and the qualities of every dish! Do yourself a favor and stop in!!!

    Wonderful authentic Arubian restaurant. Logistics: Apple has the location wrong as of 7/14/23 and will bring you to a Marriot . Use the address at the website. Rich, the owner, is friendly and chatted with us. We had an awesome time.
