   I wanted to try this restaurant because my friends recommended it. It is cute, seems like a good value and the location was convenient. I am not sure if they were having an off night, but the service was really bad. Everything took super long. We had to ask about specials and to take our order. The menu is limited with very little besides burgers/red meat. A glass of wine was a 10 minute wait. My guests joked that they were squeezing the grapes out back. The food took forever to come out of the kitchen. They were busy when we got there, but by 8 pm, it was empty. We liked our entrees, but the service just seemed to have better things to do. Shame because the place is cute, has a very local feel and our food tasted good.

   First time there. The ambiance always a 7/10 in the dining area, the bar area looked to be a 8/10. But the drinks and food? 9/10 or better. We were pleasantly surprised. Very tasty and well plated. We’d definitely go back, and the value is certainly there. Less expensive than we’re accustomed to, but equal or better to the pricier restaurants. Definitely recommend. 👍

   Date night with the husband. I’m still talking about the poutine! We also had the cheese curds. Appetizers were plentiful and I was full before dinner came. Filet was delicious and mashed potatoes were ok (little bland). My husband had flatbread with scallops. He said it was good. We brought most of the entrees home and the kids agreed even heated up the food was great! We will be back.

   Excellent pomegranate Margarita and Moscow mule. Loved the Garlic Parmesan Chicken wing with the fresh parmesan cheese grated on top of the wings. Scallop entree was excellent and perfectly prepared! The Filet entree was excellent! The filet was perfectly cooked and prepared! Richardson's is more than just their great Pub Burgers and appetizers or their nice beer selection! A must try restaurant!

   Richardson's is one of our favorite restaurants. The menu is not extensive and changes with the seasons but what they have is always very good. The staff is friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this hidden gem.

   The restaurant appears unfinished. We were seated near the back Grey door which could be quartered off for esthetic purposes. The walls are drab and the windows have no curtains as if unfinished. No table clothes or candles. Needs spiffing up to come up to local speed. The service was. VERY slow. Two of the few entrees were not available and the stove was broken per the waitress My scallops were very good but the risotto was undercooked. Overall not impressed but would give it another try as they may have been experiencing a more difficult evening then normal.

    Went on a Friday night( my mistake) very very noisy, food was very good service was fine. Being an older couple (70’s +80’s) couldn’t handle the noise. Would go back but on a Sunday or mid week.

    Wednesday’s Burger night is a great deal!! Delicious handmade burger with fries plus a beer all for $10 is a great deal that can’t be beat!!!!

    House burger and pineapple burger were delicious! Bring your appetite, they are 8oz burgers on a toasted brioche bun. The Caesar chicken wings were good too.

    Excellent food — frenched porkchop was fantastic (big, juicy, perfectly seasoned and cooked!) Companion raved about the buffalo wings and fish tacos. Owner was present, hospitable, and engaging. Space is comfy. Bar is beautiful. Whole place is immaculately clean.

    I had high hopes however, it was disappointing. Our appetizers were great but after that our experience declined. There was a group (likely family of the owners) with several children that kept opening the back door to the restaurant letting in cold air and it was very disruptive. Also, 3 (pasta) of 6 meals came out cold. Our server tried to rectify it but they came out cold a second time and had to be returned to the kitchen twice. We may have just gone on an "off" night however we won't be going back any time soon...

    We have been to Richardson's several times. The food is always delicious and the service is great. It is small but very inviting. I would recommend it for a relaxing evening out.

    Great place and excellent food but a warning we used open table and when we got there the receptionist said they weren’t watching the app emails?! They fixed it so we got a table but only because my husband pressed them.

    While overall I am rating it as Good, I would recommend to others because it is a cute place and I would not write it off just from one visit. The food was OK, has a lot of competition in the area though where the food is outstanding, same pricing too. A specific comment - green salad very good, unique with a delicious dressing but as often happens with restaurants, they put too much on the salad and so took over some of the desired flavors from the veggies. We will go back and give it another try.

    Excellent cocktails, garlic parmesan wings were crispy and tasty. Generous portion of delicious Veal Bolognese, Cavatelli with Basil Pesto cream sauce was excellent served with a full size boneless chicken breast. This is our 2nd time there. We are definitely making Richardson's a regular stop !

    Reservation acknowledged and promptly seated at a nice corner booth. Downhill from there: Our server was nice enough but very inexperienced and thoughtless. We, (pty of 4) all agreed and joked he may have been on some kind of speed or massive amounts of energy drinks! He never engaged with us, didn't give anyone a chance to ask a question about menu items, drinks, etc. nor did he offer - just spun around and ran off each time he came to our table - very annoying. Our food took 45 mins to arrive, although it didn't appear any other tables around us had such a long wait. Two of us ordered the special Pumpkin Ravioli dish - both orders were very dry and lacking sauce as well as the carrots were under cooked and the (onions?couldn't tell) were burnt beyond recognition! Looks like it was broiled when it should have been sauteed. Another ordered the Veal Bolognaise - it too was extremely dry - a sticky ball of pasta with no sauce! no garnish, no bread, no How is everything? Very disappointing! Menu sounded good but poorly executed. Probably won't go back - too many other much better restaurants in the area. They should probably just stick to serving cocktails.
