I love this place! Go there every chance I get. It's a little difficult to get a reservation but absolutely worth it.

Despite being late for the reservation due to traffic, the host was gracious and accommodating.
The black cod with jalapeño -new to the menu -was the best I have ever had. Can’t wait to go back and order it again!

A very loud place with very little charm. Some dishes are good like the chicken foie but some others are too salty or have nothing special. Very surprising it has a Michelin star!!
If you ask for the chef pick menu you will find it's not a tasting menu; the chef will serve each person of the table whatever he wishes. They make you wait eternally between courses and they charge as if it was luxurious. The place is vulgar and the food is not special at all. Shouldn't have a Michelin star!!!

Vastly overrated and overpriced. Very few vegetables and tiny portions. The pasta with sea urchin only had hint if sea urchin. The server was clueless about his sweet the chocolate dessert was. We had to be out by 545. It didn’t get out til 6

Small, casual restaurant that has table and bar seating. January 2018 Tasting Menu of $95 pp with $75 pp wine pairing of six pours to match the number of six courses. Waitstaff is casual, friendly and knowledgeable describing each dish and each wine in detail. The Tasting Menu is available with full-table participation only and the restaurant will mix dishes on four of the six courses to allow for more tasting. First timer, so went the tasting route. Liked the small bites of chicarrones, dipping doughnut, liver mousse sesame macaroon, and bigger plates of cod and gnocchi. Desserts were all good. Uni Pasta was ok while we did not like the below-average meat course of Short Rib resembling Corned Beef. The meat was surprisingly dry and stringy requiring a lot of chewing. A casual Michelin starred restaurant. Expect to be cramped as tables are close together.

We’ve been to the restaurant a couple of times but this last time was different. We had the sea urchin pasta last year for my sisters birthday and it was delicious! During this outing, something was off and it didn’t taste as good as the last time. The rest of the meal was good.

Our waiter was ok; felt like he had no personality and was sarcastic to my mother in law. The experience could’ve been better...will have to rethink our next outing.

From their voicemail message, which says something to the effect of "let us take care of you," to their hip and friendly staff and outrageously creative and delicious tasting menu, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. It's not cheap, but for our special occasion it couldn't have been better and I'm glad I finally got a table there!

Went on a Saturday night with 815pm reservations. We showed up a bit before and we're told they were running a bit behind. The woman running the front was apologetic, but not friendly whatsoever. At 830pm we went to inquire again and asked if it was going to be longer if we could leave and come back another time as it was getting late for us and she was snippy and said the table is coming up shortly. The head server came to apologize and he brought out a sampling of snacks that were amazing. The four of us had an amazing evening of food as we had chosen the chef's menu. Each plate that came out as delicious and what a great experience only marred a bit from our chilly dealings with the woman at the front, but not sure I"ll elect to go back at a busy time like a Saturday night again, food and other staff were nice! Kudos to the head server! You made the night!
