I’ve been trying to get into this place for awhile, a little harder for me because I have a tight schedule, finally saw and opening at 9:45 p.m. on a Sunday and I took the chance. I’m so glad I did. We did the Chefs Pick. I cannot believe the amount of food we got, I think you get more than what you’re paying for. I love that they gave us both different items for each course so we had more to try. The place is small but I loved the experience. It was worth it.

Food is creative and delicious, but not over the top with aesthetics. We did not go home hungry. Service is very attentive. This is a place where we will go again.

Rich Table was quite good. The service was good, but we did feel a little rushed and had to flag down the waiter 2-3 times for drinks etc. Food was very good (Porcini Doughnut, Churros with Pate and the cod dish my friend had was good). The sweetbread app was good, but the Brussels sprouts were pretty tough--flavorful, but could have used 1-2 mins more--had a raw bite that I personally didn't think was appetizing. The Rib eye with french onion soup was huge and definitely not the tender ribeye I'm used to. Flavor was very good, but definitely not a tender cut--not necessarily something I could blame on them.
Was billed more than what was ordered.
Rich Table was a delightful dining experience - between the incredibly tasty and creative dishes and the super friendly staff, I would definitely go back.
Everything was delicious and the staff moved like a perfectly orchestrated team. The wontons and doughnuts were out of this world!
Would recommend to everyone I know.
Vibrant little foodie restaurant in Hayes Valley. We loved the food and the service was superb. We were celebrating a birthday. The only downside was it was hot and noisy. The quality and creativity of the food does not match the toned-down casual atmosphere of the location. But overall a fun dining experience to be sure.
Despite securing our reservation with a credit card, we were not seated at a table because somehow they had us down for the wrong time. They apologized a lot but we had to eat our dinner at the bar. It was loud and my friend and I could barely hear each other. Our server was very haughty when we asked questions about the food. We left with the impression that they did not feel that we were as fashionable and cool as their other patrons.
Our food was adequate. The pork chop was a little tough and hard to cut. The beef pasta dish contained very little beef. The wine selection was good and we enjoyed ours.
Bottom line: won’t go there again due to the messed up reservation and lack of anything special to recommend the place.

Best restaraunt in SF. Dana is amazing. I will eat here 1 or 2 times a month the girlfriend loves it. Excellent menu and change-ups
The staff and the ambiance was fantastic. The food was very good.
We loved the smaller, intimate space. We chose the pre fixed menu for the 2 of us which was a sampling of a good portion of the menu and it did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly and made the effort to connect with us, even if they were just dropping off a cocktail. We will definitely be back when the seasonal menu changes to check out what’s new!
Our server was so attentive and took care of all my lactose issues. Presentation, quality and taste beyond. 😍
Amazing food and even better service.
Best meal we’ve had in San Francisco! Good value, we were made to feel special for our anniversary which we hadn’t had with any other restaurant we visited. The food was outstanding - comfort food with an elegant twist we were bowled over. Great playlist and crowd in the restaurant, we couldn’t fault it. A must for anyone in Sam Francisco if you can get a table! My only regret is that I couldn’t eat any more! The whole menu sounded delicious, I’d actually like to go back and make my way through the whole thing!

We were seated promptly and allowed to settle and allowed to order at our moderate pace the cocktails & wine were very god I liked the Willamette PInot Noir and the food was excellent our server went abpve & beyond

Bread was awesome. Service was friendly and helpful. Cocktail was really good. The dessert choices reflected summer freshness and creativity though we didn’t find them particularly inviting. It was my husband’s birthday and he was generously offered a minty ice cream with chocolate and wafers. The mint was overpowering. I liked the sauce in my pasta with basil and cherry tomatoes but the bucatini was tough to chew on. I was tempted to send it back but we had waited a while for the food and I was hungry so I didn’t return it.

The food was very okay, the salmon roe tartar and the pastas really shined... but we never really knew who our server was. There were multiple people taking orders and bringing us dishes/drinks. Due to the fact that there were several people stopping by our table the menu got discussed twice, a wrong drink was brought to our table and they included an unordered won ton from the $/pp. The experience came off as ill prepared instead of strong teamwork. The music was also something to be desired.

This place was great - had at least 8 dishes, a bottle of wine, and was pretty surprised that the bill wasn’t too steep!

Went here for anniversary, greeted with kind note and excellent service throughout the meal. Had the tasting menu x2, which was amazing and very filling. Would recommend to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience.
My husband had a memorable birthday dinner at a Rich Table! He squealed with each bite. He cannot wait to return for those sardine chips!!
We were in town and wanted to catch up with a friend. Everything was delicious! We were able to share a bunch of things so that everyone got to try everything they wanted to.
We went here for my birthday. We indicated such in our reservation. No cake no candle no nothing. Another table seated near us did receive this however. Would not suggest that anyone come here for a special occasion as you will be disappointed. Food was mostly tasty but steak was extremely fatty and when we sent it back rather than replace it they trimmed the fat. I am capable of using a fork and knife and could have done that myself.
So much food for the money! We did the Chef’s Selection and loved every minute of it. The food was delicious, the service absolutely lovely, and the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. Don’t miss!

Worth every penny. We did the tasting menu with wine pairings. Our bill with tip was just over $500 and we had no complaints. The wooden benches aren’t the most comfortable but the food and service more than made up for it. Will happily go again.

One year ago I gave rich table an excellent review. This time around I wasn’t as impressed. We felt that most dishes were over spiced be it with salt or other spices. Also we were served onion rings and a tortilla that were cold and heavy with oil. The wonton bite had a very thick and gooey texture too. The porcini doughnuts that we’re one of are favorites last time had no mushroom favor. The rib eye itself was spectacular once the over abundance of chimichuro was removed. The wait staff here is excellent and as always they chose the perfect wine for our meal. Hopefully we caught an off night at the Rich Table.
Been at least a half dozen times and always a fantastic meal with great service and unmatched creativity!
