So good. The pork chops were amazing.
Always solid. An authentic, casual trattoria, straight out of a Rome square, with the owner in the kitchen.
Great food and service love this place!
The Enoteca is always a pleasant experience. Good food and a warm, comfortable atmosphere.
Riccardo Enoteca treated me well for my birthday get-together with a friend. They treated us to a couple of bruschetta, then we ordered the crab cake, pesto ravioli and braised beef pasta with mushrooms to share. They also treated us to a tasty tiramisu! Everything tasted delish, and the slow European service style is perfect when catching up a friend as to not be rushed, or when you just want life to slow down a little. We will return for sure! Thanks for a lovely evening!
Came here for our wedding anniversary . Excellent service & food was amazing. Not really a place for kids. Look forward to returning very soon!
Nice little Italian place great food and service!
This is a great neighborhood spot. Friendly staff and great food. Menu is updated regularly. Big fan of the roasted calamari and the linguine bolognese - as good as I have gotten in Italy.
This is a neighborhood gem. Never had a bad meal. The food is great and the service is welcoming.
Great food and service, love this place!!!
Best Italian in Chicago.
Love love love
Delicious food, extensive menu, relaxed atmosphere.
great food and service as always. The trout I had was cooked perfectly.
Food is always good. Service has also been good. Not your run-of-the-mill Italian.
Enoteca riccardo feels like a hidden secret for locals. It’s tiny and the quality of the food reflects it. The burrata is amazing and the pizzas are crusty and savory. A favorite!
First visit and we would go back. A bit cozy but excellent food and service and very reasonably priced wine menu.
Amazing service and fantastic food! This is a great place for delicious Italian.
It is a small restaurant with excellent Italian food. Having lived in Italy, the dishes are expertly prepared and authentic with nice touches. Rather large portions. We will return!
All good as usual but pasta entrée with marinara and cheese was overwhelmed with cheese. Just really wanted pasta with marinara with light cheese. This was my first time for the dish and I should have asked first.
Always great food and service. Visit for special occasions and just for a casual gathering--you will be glad you did.
We had a delightful time! Wish the waiter had known a bit more about the wine list but we made it work and the food was incredible! Wanted to take leftovers home but just had to finish it all!
Charming neighborhood gem with grounded southern Italian cuisine. Value priced wine list and very accomodating service.
Went for dinner on Sunday and we were surprised at how many children there were. It seems to be a family go-to spot for the neighborhood. We very much enjoyed our meal.
Always enjoy coming here. Love the cozy atmosphere and the great food. Will definitely be back.
I absolutely love this neighborhood spot. It’s intimate, casual, and the menu is perfect.
My friend took me here for my birthday. The restaurant is charming and intimate. The food is outstanding and the service is stellar. I would definitely go back. Make reservations in advance. It’s a small place and they book up quickly.
Excellent food and excellent service EVERY time!! Perfect for date night. Ask for the hot bruschetta - no longer on the menu, but amazing!
Great first course, pasta, and risotto options. Desserts- very good. Pizza....ehhh.
This is an Italian restaurant that has a unique and creative take on Italian food. The restaurant week's selection were varied the so we went with two different entrees Roast Duck and Pasta with seafood. Both were very good, although the duck had a few chewy pieces.
The appetizer . of grilled calamari with salad was excellent.
The service was excellent and attentive.
Outstanding traditional menu with top quality ingredients prepared in a professional manner and served by a competent staff in a quiet, attractive room. A pleasure to have in our neighborhood, but would be worth traveling to. A real delight.
A huge assortment of choices for the $33 Restaurant Week menu. Great variety, huge portions, and great service. The Enoteca was much quieter than the Trattoria across the street--even in a busy Saturday night, we were able to converse and linger without any pressure. Food was really good--all in all, a great reminder of a neighborhood gem that we should frequent more often!
This place never disappoints!
Came in Saturday night for restaurant week and I was blown away with the menu. Probably one of the best restaurant week menu in the city definitely recommend it.
I’ll be going back before it ends.
Every time we eat here it gets better and better. The kitchen is hitting on all cylinders. We can’t wait to return.
We LOVE this restaurant. It always feels like "home" when we go in. The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious.
We have dined here several times, the food & service are excellent. Storefront setting is cozy & comfortable. As close as you will come in Chicago to replicating a great trattoria experience in Florence off the main streets & away from the mediocre tourist traps.
We always have a great meal and the atmosphere is relaxed.
Food is always good; service friendly & attentive; warm, welcoming place that is a neighborhood gem!
