Food was mediocre and cold, despite premium prices.

The Caesar salad is de rigueur. However, the seafood is best avoided. Twice now our friends felt sick shortly after consuming the seafood, namely shrimp and lobster. Stick to meat and poultry and you should be fine. The wine list is good, but overpriced. The service is attentive and professional. The ambiance has a nice club feel—one you expect from a steakhouse.

The service was inadequate. They forgot our drinks. The cesar salad was not prepared at the table and was flawed. Our steak and rosbif were cooked as requested. Finally, they served our wine when our meals were almost finished.

We will not return.

Je suis un habitué de Moishe’s et si je compare le deux restaurants qui servent tous les deux une excellente qualité de nourriture... RIB N Reef est plus dispendieux.

I reserved a table for our anniversary. The experience was wonderful from the beginning to the end. From valet parking attendants who greet you with positive attitudes and great smiles to the wait staff who goes above and beyond to ensure you are treated like royalty.

The ambiance is very « steakhouse chic » but has a modern feel that makes it very a propos in this day and age. Even though you are required to wear a mask upon entry and wash your hands, all staff is wearing a mask, it did not take away from the elegance and magic of the experience.

Great 5 a 7. Shared 4 apps. Patio was really nice also.

Food is good but very pricey. One can have a filet mignon as good at a different steakhouse for half the price. Our waiter was disconnected and didnt care for us, we didnt “fit” with the regular crowd (read: we didnt seem to have loads of money). Another waiter was very friendly and engaged us in wonderful chitchat. The wine was worth it though.

It was a special occasion and unfortunately we were the only ones there besides 1 other table on the terrace at lunch so I can't say much about ambiance. Pricey but good. The service excellent.

This restaurant is the best restaurant I’ve been too in a long time. You pay not only for the food, they make you live a dreamy experience. My man concluded that this was our new spot to go so Rib n Reef got themselves a new regular client. Perfect for classy professional event/celebration. Jazz music to the RDV and the services that we got was top notch! Thank you for that amazing evening ❤️

Valet service was amazing. Waiter was a little slow to serve us, but other table were getting service faster...

Une fois c'est ok. Les toilettes étaient vraiment sales. Sinon, le service était efficace, mais très condescendant dans les débuts. Cela c'est amélioré au cours de la soirée, heureusement. J'ai passé une belle soirée, mais je ne reviendrais pas. Le rapport qualité/prix étaient un peu exagéré.

The food was delicious, and the price is worth it. The staffs were courteous. The place was very ambivalent and cozy. Overall, it is a terrific dining experience.

The experience of going to a top class diner was something to remember, especially after the long period of isolation... It happened to be our 5 year anniversary and we wanted to do something special. Rib & Reef is literally one block away from our condo and we had never dined there since moving in 5 years ago.
I didn't find that it was value for money though. We have had the same food and drinks at a less expensive steak house. While very good, we didn't feel it was outstanding.
The difference was the staff. They were tentative, pleasant, friendly and available at a simple gesture or look their way. They attended to our every need and that is where we experienced the value.
I would go back again for sure but it's not a once a month place to go. Probably once or twice a year.

Tout allait bien jusqu’à ce que lorsque nous partions quelqu’un est venu nous apporter un repas commandé par une autre personne et quand il s’est rendu compte, même pas une excuse mais avec une violence sans pareille il a arraché le repas de l’auto. On s’est senti comme des bons à rien

I booked last minute for my boyfriend's birthday and I must say I was quite impressed. The service was beyond nice. They literally treated us like loyalty! I'm glad he got to enjoy his our date!!

Ps: we went in the afternoon around 2pm so it was very peaceful.

Lee plats sont trop cher pour la quantité reçu. Je ne retournerai plus. Sinon, le goût est là.

C'est une salade César parfaite montée à table, une carte de Grands crus divine, des pièces de boeuf tendres et fondantes...et de décadents desserts classiques, cerises jubilées, crêpes Suzette, etc..😛
C'est le sentiment réconfortant de retrouver un ami fidèle.
Le "Rib N Reef" était, est et restera toujours une adresse emblématique de Montréal

Delicious overall and cool staff and ambiance. I hade a bone-in filet that was overdone but they admitted it and made things right. Will definitely come back for more!

Fantastic and friendly service. Food was incredible! It was our first time visiting Montréal and we couldn’t be more pleased to have chosen Rib N’ Reef to dine at.

Lamb chops were overcooked, everyone had their food i had to wait an extra 15 minutes, the side dishes were cold when my chops arrived, the Cesar salad dressing was to intense
and I thought management would compensate my dinner since it was screwed up by the cooks, overall very expensive

Dinner was excellent from start to finish! Caesar salad prepared at the table - rib steak and veal chop cooked perfectly. Lovely service. Pricey meal but it was a special occasion!
