Ive eaten a lot of reubens at lots of places. This one was average at best. The bottom bread was soggy so it may have been under a lamp for a while. Only a modest amount of cornbeef and a bit stringy. The floor manager asked how things were. When I said 'fair' she asked why. I told her and she said, sorry. No offer for a replacement
The waiter spent much time at other tables but just a quick glance to us. We werent given silverware so i had to ask. Then, I had to get up and ask for ketchup.
Not worth the $50 tab for two people.
Ri Ra is closing and that's too bad because it was one of the best Bar/restaurants my family would go to every Thanksgiving. I was really looking forward to it this year but the service was so bad I assume it's because they know they will be closed late January. It took forever for us to get anything and when we did it was either wrong or some of the items we ordered never came. It really sucks to see such a great place go out like that.
We have been regulars at RiRa Georgetown since it opened six years ago and were very sorry to read the notice that it is closing at the end of January—-this is a terrible loss to the local community! Wish there was a way for RiRa to stay in DC, perhaps at another location where rents are cheaper!
Excellent service by Gerard. Attentive, very helpful, excellent waiter.
Ordered the Dubliner, a lamb hamburger which is arguably my favorite burger in DC. Perfectly prepared, substituted
salad for the fried. Loved the tâter tots in lieu of croutons.
Very sad to learn Ri Ra will be closing end of January 2020.
Great ambience but the service was not great which led to not a great food experience. Willing to give it another try.
Food was good. One persons meal was not rang in with the rest of the table. It happens, understandable, but it took an excessive amount of time to correct the issue.
Best fish and chips in DC
Ri Ra Irish Pub is a good brunch choice. It was busy without being overcrowded. The food was excellent. It took a while to have the food delivered, but it was worth the wait.
Waiter was attentive at all!
Other managers came and filled in, after we was looking for refills on our drinks.
Liked the trivia night but it was a bit loud and we had a hard time talking with each other asleep the table were high.
Super restaurant nourriture de qualité tellement que l’on est retourné une seconde fois
My husband and I visited Ri Ra in the past - and wanted our adult children to experience it. We had a wonderful dinner and spent a couple of hours in the bar talking to the bartenders and some of the guests. We had a wonderful evening - including way too much Harp! Keep up the good work Ri Ra!
The ambience was great, food and service was pretty good. Pretty loud
Great food, beer, cider, and service.
I didn't get to sample anything in the Whiskey Bar upstairs, but it is very impressive.
Met a colleague here since we used to go to RiRa in Bethesda every Wednesday. It was great to repeat that ambiance. He “had” to have the Pub Burger with rasher “just for old times’ sake”!
The Ruben was excellent, and I have high standards for Rubens!
I would have loved to have a draft beer, but I was going back to work!
It was a great late night visit to sample fantastic whiskey and snacks
Ri Ra is unpretentious with a funky vibe, but they produce the BEST fish and chips we’ve found on this side of the Atlantic Ocean, and our fellow diners raved about both the scones and the perfectly prepared salmon Caesar salad. Great place for a casual meal.
Horrible service. Literally had 4 different people serving us and we couldn’t even get waters until almost the end of our meal. Screwed up our orders and literally didn’t even give us the check or come back to pick it up.
Not impressed. Our appetizers and entrees all came out at the same time and the waiter didn’t try to correct it. Then they ran out of ice so my cocktail was warm. Food was just okay which is a shame because the interior is beautiful. For the amount of gems in Georgetown, this one is definitely a pass.
Sat for about 15! minutes but no server. Watched them walk by, some looked pretty bored. Had to leave to go somewhere else to get something to eat and drink.
I don’t even understand why this place is on open table. Went for lunch...the bar had customers but the dining area was empty and now I know why. Ordered the crab salad sandwich. Absolutely had no taste...or maybe out of the can taste...and the roll was like wonder bread. Don’t waste your time.
Great place for a larger group in Georgetown. Service was slow but food was fantastic.
Dad and daughter weekend ⚾️ and letting my daughter be the tour guide in the city she loves living and working in..
Veggie burger was amazing!
Great pub food and service from the team at RiRa. Will go back if I’m in the Georgetown area!
Cool place. Quiet when we were there on a weeknight. Food was good, beer choice was okay, scotch choice was amazing. Service was really good and friendly.
The food was delicious and we had a wide variety of dishes. I had the Shepards Pie and loved every bite!
Tables are small...trying to maximize seating in a smallish restaurant. Great food, good choices, competitive pricing
we miss the one in Bethesda but it is worth going to the one in Georgetown!
Despite it being Mother’s Day we received excellent service, and our food was hot and perfect!
Server was great and the food was wonderful. Hadn’t been before and would definitely go back.
Great drinks and fun place to hang out and watch a game!
We had a great time with our out of town guests. Service and food was above expectations,. Bar was interesting and we'll maintained
Expert service and quality food! Perfect for a special occasion with friends or coworkers. A must try in Georgetown.
The waiter was not very personable and the reatuarant appeared understaffed
Love the waitress. She is extremely funny and kind.
Excellent food! My salmon was delicious! Friendly service. Casual atmosphere.
Love this place!! I’ve been to Ireland and I felt like I was back! Amazing fish and chips! Guinness was just wonderful! The way it’s suppose to taste. Cannot wait to revisit.
Great food, great location, great scones, friendly service!
Great service, great atmosphere, and great value. Place was busy but not loud or hectic. The host greeting was highly professional and helpful.
The waitress was quick as if we were being waited on in a fast food table. It’s a beer/burger place with many TVs. The salads was awful. Won’t go back.
