Service was fantastic and so was the food. We really enjoyed all the options for Sunday brunch.
It's lovely room but with only hard surfaces, the noise level is intolerable. I won't go back unless I can eat outside or be there sometime when there aren't many people there.
We dined prior to a concert at the VBC. Service was excellent and the food was delicious as always.
Way too loud, furniture worn, good server, food ok
Food was excellent; our guests, first time at Rhythm, truly enjoyed the meal and the restaurant overall. Service fell just a bit short as we began the meal without flatware, and had to ask for water refills. Minor issues but ones that could truly have made the experience nearly perfect.
We were told the rooftop patio was closed due to staffing issues. Apparently, there were staffing issues downstairs too. Service was slow but food was good.
The food and environment can not be beat. The service can be hit or miss (I've been twice. Once had amazing service. Second had tolerable service.) I was not thrilled with having to pay $10 to park since there was an event going on inside the VBC and I wish this was more prominently indicated either on their website or via Open Table. The lack of communication of this was not appreciated. They did take $5 off my check because it was over $50, but I still did not enjoy paying to park to go to brunch. Server was decent but not overly attentive. I had wanted more Hollandaise, but by the time he came back to check on us to see if everything was okay I was finished eating. Overall - will I go back. Yes, absolutely. Food and atmosphere are incredible. But I will probably ask to sit in the bar.
Great place to eat brunch. Highly recommend!! Love everything about this restaurant!!
Came for brunch. The chicken wings were great, but the eggs benedict and Gouda grits were a little lacking in flavor. Atmosphere was great and the acoustics were very impressive. Would come again and try something else besides the eggs benedict.
Got seated early which was great because we only had an hour until our concert started. Fast service and delicious food all around for our party of 4
So glad that we went to brunch at Rhythm on Monroe. Loved the ambience, high ceilings and the spacious seating. My small party of three that included our 6 yr old son had a nice meal. Great selection of foods and my husband and I got The Platters, plenty of food. He wasn’t too fond of the short rib sliders he also ordered since it was covered in cheese. He would order it without cheese next time. The mimosas and bloody Mary’s were great! Also, if you do love cinnamon rolls…. You MUST order it! It’s a shareable HUGE square “roll” drizzled in icing and nuts (can order without). I give this place a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend!!!!
I love you guys wings and tacos but I think the drinks are too weak considering the prices
Excellent chef! Our salads were extremely fresh and the dressings were wonderful. I had the fried green tomatoes, presentation was great, as was my boyfriend’s blackened salmon with a topping of bacon jam. Best food in town and we go out a lot.
Seriously impressed. I’m kind of a food snob and usually underwhelmed by Huntsville restaurants but thought our waitress was cool and attentive but not overly so and the food was excellent! Tried a short rib slider (i usually turn my nose up at meat but this was TASTY), perfectly cooked and seasoned green beans, shoestring fries, and crispy Brussels with a dank Greek tasting dipping sauce. Thanks for a fine meal to sustain me through a show at Mars Music Hall!
Great shrimp and grits!
Enjoyed myself. Parking wasn't very clear, but I had a great time. It was raining so we didn't get to sit on the roof, but great spot for Brunch!
We were there for brunch and it was disappointing. The mimosas and bloody Mary's were great. My husband had a burger with fries. It was delicious. I chose to have eggs, biscuit and Gouda cheese grits. That was not a biscuit they put on my plate. I have no idea what it was. Everything needed seasoning! I had to go to the bar for salt and pepper as our server was practically non existent. She never smiled the whole time we were there! I would ask for something as she was walking away and she just ignored me. She wasn't at the table long enough to even hear our answer after asking if we needed anything... She must really hate her job! The hostess and bartender were very pleasant. We may try the rooftop bar or dinner sometime but, never the brunch again!
The food, service, and experience was great. Can’t wait to sit at the rooftop bar next time
Our reservation was good, but we had to wait to order our food for 30 minutes after we sat down because the kitchen was understaffed and was behind. It was a little cool in the restaurant.
We stopped in for dinner before attending a concert. Our reservations meant we were seated when we arrived. While the menu isn't huge, it has plenty of options. Everything was served hot so no delay coming from the kitchen and everything was very tasty. This restaurant is a great addition to the Von Braun Center.
A new treasure to our community! Incredible food in a fabulous environment with indoor and outdoor and balcony options! A truly lovely place. We’ve been three times and it was amazing each time!
Excellent service and food was awesome! Will definitely return soon.
Food was good. Chicken was burned. Ambiance was great. Service was poor at best.
It’s a great place to eat the food is delicious. Service was good but slow and our server gave us the wrong check otherwise it would get 5-stars.
It was wonderful??? It was my husband's birthday… I called ahead to make sure they had the chocolate pies for the celebration. The waitress was wonderful!!! She helped us with all the choices since everything sounded great! The place is gorgeous!
Definitely will visits it again!!
Great food, pretty view. And they have a rooftop bar!
My friends and I came here for brunch for the first time. Food was amazing and loved the mimosas! Thank you!
Overall, it was a good experience. The waiter we had was not observant to the needs of the table. There was a spilt drink on the table and it took several minutes and me calling the waiter back over. They was slow to take our order but the food was good.
The service was so bad that we left and didn’t even order food. There was a glass of wine missing from the kitchen that was on the menu, and instead of offering an alternative for us the waitress just told us we could buy an expensive bottle of another similar kind. She also didn’t hear one member of our party say several times that he wanted a glass of Merlot, and he had to repeat himself over and over again before she noticed. When one member of our party decided that he’d rather have water than the expensive bottle of wine, she immediately left without finding out what the fourth person would’ve wanted instead. There was a live musician playing guitar music and he sounded pretty good, but it was too loud and made it difficult for us to hear. The acoustics in that space are pretty terrible, so I don’t know why they would bother having live music in an echo chamber like that. Also, when two members of our party arrived at the restaurant, they had to wait such a long time for somebody to come seat them that they wound up wandering in until I saw them and brought them to our table. For a place that supposed to be a nice restaurant, this was a total joke. We left and went somewhere else and were very happy at the other restaurant, and I will never come back here.
Anonymous, I apologize and embarrassed reading about your experience! There is no excuse and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your evening further. We will work to improve our suggestions when we are out of products and proper service. Traditionally they play on the roof unless it rains. We should have worked with the entertainer to adjust the sound. No excuses. I did send you a private message in hopes that you will contact me directly. Sincerely, Stephen Ryberg General Manager
Wonderful dining experience ! Service was awesome and the food was incredible !!
Had a reservation. We sat at a table for 20 minutes without service. We didn't even get drinks! The restaurant was maybe at half occupancy! There was no reason for us to be ignored. We got up and left. Do not recommend at all!
Great restaurant! This is our second visit...both times have been great!! The only reason that I gave a 4-star instead of a 5-star was because of the "happy hour" wine pours. Both times we have dined here, we have overlapped with Happy Hour. Both times our wine pours were considerably smaller during Happy Hour than the glass of wine we got after 6:00. We noticed that it was the same for other patrons. As a matter of fact, a number of patrons were talking about it out on the patio during our first visit.
Michael was a wonderful waiter
Very nice setting and the downstairs area is open and spacious. I was not impressed with the food and the service. There were only 5 tables being served and our waitress would "forget about us" or have to use the bathroom. Another waitress came by to fill our drinks because ours was missing. Overall it's a nice setting with easy access and parking. We went on a Monday evening and was not impressed. Probably won't be going back. My wife had the short rib sliders with fries and I had the sautéed gulf coast snapper. Her sliders were cold, the fries are exactly what you would get from McDonalds and my snapper was overcooked, chewy and cold.
3 $5 beers and one $12 sangria and out total bill was over $100.
Food and setting was great. Would definitely recommend
Went for my birthday! Amazing brunch and ambiance.
Dinning out with the family. The only like I didn’t enjoy was the poor service. Food and environment was amazing.
The experience was good and my wife loved the food. It was disappointing to see the waiters not wearing masks or practicing social distancing. However, I would still recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
The experience was amazing. Wonderful atmosphere and great service
