Cute place and yummy food ! Quick to seated and friendly staff !
We walked in went to bar to ask for seating, we had a reservation but there was not a table ready, we sat at a dirty table and then a server asked if we were ready for our check, I kindly explained no we had a reservation but the bar said take a seat anywhere. Food was presented well but it was cold. ☹️
Breakfast in Savannah. Food was great. Service was slow but staff seemed to be working hard just understaffed.
Service and food was great
My wife and I, with our two kids, visited for breakfast after staying at a different hotel in the city. Even with a limited menu, this restaurant clearly pays attention to detail with regards to food quality and service. Classic, yet filling and delightfully tasty, everything we ordered and were served was impressive. Slightly disappointed that the Biscuits and Vidalia onion gravy wasn’t available during our visit, I can 100% assure you we will be back on our next trip to Savannah to hopefully enjoy that! The restaurant has a great ambiance and decor and it is in a great location to walk the waterfront after enjoying the filling meal! Kudos!
Great date night reservation! Brunch and the mimosas were awesome!
Lovely restaurant with great food! We stopped in for brunch before heading to the beach. This is a great spot to get high quality food in a more causal setting. The overnight oatmeal parfait was especially delicious!
BEST breakfast of our vacation! Loaded grits were “magical”
Overall, would recommend. The cauliflower starter was very well prepared, with good flavor, spice, and taste. The service was fast and attentive.
Thanks for the kind words! I'm a big fan of the fried cauliflower, too. Come see us again sometime!
Really bad service. Staff had to take our order three times to get it right.
Not worth the money. It looks nice inside, however, if you pay attention, you realize it’s not. Our water glasses were the same plastic glasses that were used in my middle school cafeteria twenty years ago. So cheap looking. They were sold out of two of the apps we wanted and three entrees, one of which we also wanted. We were not informed of this until we had spent a while looking at the menu and deciding, and only when we tried to order said items did the server list off the things they were out of. Wine list is boring and overpriced. Food was NOT worth the money. Brisket came out room temp, almost cold. My artichoke risotto was just okay, there were some tough artichoke pieces in there that I had to pick out of my mouth, pretty disappointing. The apps were just okay, the southern sampler board with the fish dip came out with five measly saltines, and yet there were generous mounds of pimento cheese and a fish dip. After those five saltines were gone, did they expect you to just spoon it into your mouth? The dips were good, but so little to “dip” in them. It was a lackluster experience for $200. No wonder this place wasn’t booked up like the rest of the places in Savannah that night. Will not return and also will be very wary of places with open availability on a busy weekend. Was trying to treat visiting family to a nice meal and experience and must say I’m embarrassed.
I'd like to apologize for your lackluster experience with us. I've passed along your review to the rest of the management team; we take criticism like this very seriously and have been looking into everything that you mentioned. This is not up to our standards. I'd love to invite you back to Rhett for an opportunity to make up for your experience on the 16th. I'll send you my contact info in a private message in case you want to provide any further feedback.
Came here for Valentine’s Day dinner. They had a pre-prepared menu, we ordered with wine pairing. Food was very fresh and flavorful.
Thanks for the kind words! I'm so glad you enjoyed our Valentine's Day prix fixe menu. Come see us again soon!
Only offered five entrees for a special Valentines menu. By the time we were seated for our reservations they were out of one of the entrees. Switched to the lamb chops, they were good but slightly over cooked.
Cocktails left a lot to be desired. One of the drinks we ordered was an old fashion with extra cherries, to which the bar tender stated, the bar down here does not stock cherries.”
Not worth the money.
Thank you for posting your review. I'm sorry that you had such a negative experience dining with us. I understand your frustration with the particulars of our Valentine's Day prix fixe menu - especially if the dish (and cocktail) you ultimately settled for wasn't perfectly done. I passed your comments along to the rest of the management team and we'd like to invite you to join us once more so that you can see what we're all about. Please see my private message for more info.
Stylish, yet comfortable decor. Excellent food and a creative play on Southern favorites. Healthy options. Already recommended to a friend. Will put Rhett on the list to take visitors to. We will be back!
Thanks for taking the time to leave us such a positive recommendation! It is much appreciated. We can't wait to have you again.
Too noisy. The noise bounced off the hard walls and ceilings We could not converse easily we could hear people from across the restaurant
Rhett is a great spot for catching up with friends or family. The atmosphere is hip, and the food is great!
Horrible all around. Ordered Champagne and it came in an open bottle and was flat. Goat cheese had NO flavor and food was burnt. Paid and told manager that I was disappointed. He acted like it wasn’t a big deal. Sad!
Very good food with friendly, excellent service. Dishes were well prepared and tasty but not over-top extraordinary or creative. Pleasant dining spot by the river.
Thank you for joining us!!!
Great food and great service. Had a wonderful meal and wonderful time. Service was outstanding!!!! Thank you so much for a fantastic experience. Can't wait to go back.
Thank you for joining us!
Food was incredibly average but I can’t say enough about the terrific wait staff
The staff was really friendly and the food very tasty.
Thank you for the 5 stars!!!
A bit of a sparse feel A la Southern industrial. Good service, and the biggest surprise for a Thanksgiving day a la carte menu-delicious!
Thank you for the review! We are so pleased you enjoyed our Thanksgiving menu.
The food at Rhett was outstanding, even for a prix fixe Thanksgiving menu. And, the roof top bar is a beautiful setting. This end of the Savannah river front, the Plant Riverside District, is shaping up as an exciting addition to downtown.
Thank you for the review. So glad you enjoyed our Thanksgiving menu. Hope you join us again.
What a disappointment. We made a special trip to Savannah from South Carolina especially for Thanksgiving dinner. By the description on their website we were expecting a lavish Southern buffet. Instead we were presented with only a 3 course offering. We were misled. We chose turkey for our main course and received one small thin slice and some vegetables which would have easily fit into a bread and butter plate. We chose 415PM for a party of 2 as our dining time since all times after that up to 845PM were unavailable. When we arrived, the restaurant was almost empty. Another inconvenience since we preferred a later time. Overall it was the worst Thanksgiving dinner we have ever experienced. I would never recommend Rhett.
We would like to extend an apology from the entire Rhett staff that you had such a disappointing experience while dining here on Thanksgiving. We pride ourselves in creating an inviting atmosphere, good service and delicious food. Obvioulsy we missed the mark with you. We want to invite you back in to enjoy dinner on us. We would like an opportunity to change your opinion of our restaurant. Please reach out to me directly. Arthur Sertorio GM 912.544.4575
Food was excellent-was our Thanksgiving meal! Waitress was the best!!!!
Thank you for the lovely comment!! So gald you enjoyed our Thanksgiving pre fix menu. Please come see us again.
Went for Brunch and it was great, DEFINITELY recommend the fried green tomatoes!
Glad you loved the FGT!! Please come see us again.
The experience that we had at Rhett was a bit mixed. Our appetizer board with ham, pimento cheese, etc, was average. There were 5 small, thin crackers on the board for two of us to share. That was almost comical. Those 5 crackers were supposed to be enough for our pimento cheese (even though there were only 2 tablespoons of it), some shaved ham, 1/2 cup of fish dip, and deviled eggs. When we asked for more crackers, the kitchen sent out 5 more tiny, thin crackers. That made us laugh and wonder if there was a cracker shortage.
The wedge salad wasn’t a wedge. It was a salad of romaine lettuce, which was overly dressed in an avocado dressing. My hamburger was the best thing about the meal. It was cooked the way I ordered it, and the flavor was very good. French fries were delicious!
Our meal at breakfast was better than at dinner. Orange juice was fresh, coffee hot and flavorful, and omelettes were very good. Our favorite food at breakfast were the potatoes with thinly sliced grilled onions.
It’s extremely convenient to have a restaurant in the hotel that offers more than a quick, average buffet. With a few improvements, Rhett could attract a crowd of diners who come to the hotel for a wonderful dinner instead of just eating there because they’re staying at the hotel.
Very slow service and not a big selection. Waited over an hour for food and did not looked very busy.
Excellent food. Well done
Glad you loved the food Justin! Thanks for the 5 stars
Brunch was ok but expected more for some reason based on dinner menus.
Yelp reviews were a bit misleading. The menu was creative and sounded good, but the actual execution was lacking. The best things we had were the spoon bread appetizer and the cornbread. The pork chop had large sections which were actually inedible. The brisket was flavorful but dry. The server was helpful and friendly, but pretty inexperienced. Bartending seemed fairly limited.
Took 20 mins to get coffee and had to track down the waitress multiple times even though we were one of two groups in the restaurant. Awesome breakfast sandwich, but not sure it was worth it unfortunately.
It is disappointing to hear that it took so long for your coffee. We pride ourselves in creating a great dining experience and obviously we fell short this morning. I am glad that your breakfast sandwich was tasty. Hopefully you'll give us another shot!
Fantastic food, and our bartender (Chris) was really great company.
Found this place highly rated on Yelp. As soon as I realized it was in a hotel I should have just backed away slowly, but I had seen the Pastrami Benedict on the menu and wanted it, so in we went. What a disappointment. Service was really half-assed, couldn't get our own server's attention so ended up having the hostess and maybe a manager? help us out when we needed something (like a fork and the check). The food looked good but had zero taste. Really bland. My poached eggs were hard which in a Benedict should really be runny and I overheard the girl sitting next to us (they were less than a food away due to their cozy seating arrangements) say her eggs were overcooked as well. All this on a tasteless burger bun. If the chef reads these reviews, my suggestion is to use more seasoning and put it on a bread that actually tastes good on it's own instead of relying on the flavor of the pastrami and egg. Even my Chai Latte was awful and I'm not super picky about my chai - how do you even do that? Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. They did a nice job designing the restaurant but need to change who is in the kitchen. I am a food tourist, so when I travel I spend a lot of time looking for a place that will be interesting and I usually do a good job of finding great food. This was a personal fail and I hate that we wasted a meal on this place.
We appreciate your feedback although it is not positive it is crucial for businesses to hear the negatives. This information can only help us grow. We have shared this review with our entire staff including our Chef. Guest response is the most important and for that we Thank you! I sincerely apologize for your disappointing experience.
Perfect family brunch!! Grits - biscuits - egg sandwiches - omelette- chicken sausage - we were in Heaven!!
Thanks for dining with us here at Rhett!!
We came across Rhett on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It was a bit of a challenge to find due to the construction in the area , but we did finally enter through the hotel and took the elevator down to the restaurant. It is a well appointed and trendy location.
We ordered the mussels and Chicken Paillard Salad. The mussels were fantastic and you can't beat the price for the serving size. The salad was slightly disappointing. It is more like a pan fried chicken cutlet with a small side salad. The flavors were good, but I was expecting a larger salad since it is listed under the salad section of the menu.
Overall it is a great place to dine. We will be back trying other options on the menu.
Thank you for your feedback. We will pass it along to our Chef. We appreciate your input and please come see us again!
Great evening with friends. Wonderful food, prompt service, and a great atmosphere. Nice little gem
Enjoyed brunch with our son and his girlfriend. Rhett is located near construction but we had no problem finding parking or the restaurant. Very modern and upscale decor. Delicious brunch choices! Service was very attentive without being intrusive. Would highly recommend!!
Very disappointing evening meal. Service was not professional at all. Could not explain dishes in any shape of form. Choice of food was uninspiring. No fish dishes except some cod soup. Still don’t know what it was. Having said that my mussels were ok and my frenchfries were good. Ambiance was non existing. Only one more table was occupied.

Rhett was everything you would want in a night out on the town. The food and service were excellent. Chef's Steak au poivre was the best ever. Our lovely server, Denise, was highly skilled and full of personality. She made our evening fun. Elegant restaurant and reasonably priced.
So glad you chose us! I'll make sure Denise see's this lovely review.
