Perfect spot with lots of room during this crazy time.
Wasn’t very impressed with service. One of our apps took forever to come out. Our server misunderstood our order and instead of clarifying, just did what he wanted. He also completely forgot an item that we added. Like the new menu!
Experience was good. I made a reservation and we were sat in the bar where we had to get up and order everything we wanted at the bar. We did not have a server wait on us. I wasnt expecting that, especially since I made a reservation. I wish we would have had a server.
It was meh at best. The best thing was the pretzel. Everything else... no thank you. We won't be returning
The required payment platform didn’t accept our debit card (chase), pretzel was cold, sides are a la carte which is fine but $5 for instant mashed potatoes?!?! Super disappointing:(
Definitely order the schnitzel as it was a very large portion and perfectly done. The sandwiches were smaller and came with bagged chips so they were not as impressive. The interior has been remodeled so it is large, spacious, and you order online from your table so there is less contact with servers which worked out great for us. As far as restaurants go, this is the least contact we have had but still great service when needed.
First time here! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fantastic, but the service was practically nonexistent. I understand they have to take precautions because of covid rules, but we basically had no server/waitress. Other restaurants have had plenty of quality service, even with the rules, so I wish they would as well. Luckily they let us know when we sat down, but we didn’t even get water refills. Both of us spent well over $50 each, so it would have been nice to have a little more service than just dropping off our food orders.
You have to order, pay and tip on your phone before anyone comes to your table before you realize you're barely being waited on so tip low as you are doing most of the work. Once you get your order, which felt like an inconvenience even though you were there to spend money, no one comes back to see if you needs drink refills or napkins or more ketchup...nothing. No one comes to see if you need a togo box for your leftovers. For the prices you are charged they can still act like a restaurant even during covid. Won't be back again.
I've lived in Germany 12 years. German beer and wine was very good. Good happy hour prices. Brats were good, but buns bad/incorrect. Jager schnitzel was awful, too thin with a strange taste, very little gravy and 3 little slices of mushroom. Kasespaetzle taste was even worse. Croissant Berliners were just ok. Won't be going back.
We were glad to be able to make a reservation for our son’s bday while were living through Covid. ReinHaus has a cool aesthetic but the lighting is terrible. My bartender husband was first to point out that it’s way too dark for dining. The food was fine. Kids inhaled their burgers abs the giant pretzel was a hit-order it with all three sauces. Good german lager. We love German food and we’re a little disappointed at the overt sweetness of almost everything. We’ll definitely give it another shot post-covid when the games are open.
No table service for ordering. Pretzels were great rest of food mediocre. Would come back after covid restrictions removed, great place for children and great beer selection.
No server, we had to go to the bar to order drinks and refills for water. Used the app to get and pay for our food. Kitchen brought us the food when it was ready- But our appetizer came with our meals and the person who brought it out just set it down and walked away. Food was decent, no complaints there. Restaurant has a fun vibe and the hostess was very friendly when we walked in.
The Host was pretty terse and made a few rude comments. Not one person check on us during the visit. Also think about providing face masks as a courtesy if enforcing the mandate.
Great food and after COVID restrictions, it will be a louder, funner (that's right, funner) place again. Love the food and the games!!
Really limited menu, service, and quality of food going down now consistently. I don’t know why. It it really is and we have noticed since it opened. Makes me sad cuz I like the place and the big screen Sounders is cool. Please figure it out.
Food was absolutely horrible in every way. Beer was good. Love the ambiance. The way that the service is setup for covid is horrible. We definitely won’t be back for food.
Food was great, arrived on time and tasted great. Besides that the service was not good. We asked for silverware and the server who delivered first meal looked very put out as he walked away. It was over 10 min while we waited for silverware. It was brought with our remaining food where we had to ask for water. Other than that we hardly had anyone check on our table. It was very difficult. A little frustrated that we had to tip prior to our food or service during the meal. If I had known I wouldn’t of tipped.
Get larg amount of excellent food for a very reasonable price.
Our first foray to eating in a restaurant since March. Reservations handled well, got the seat we wanted, safety precautions will done. I loved the at table ordering and payment process to further reduce contact. The food was a good as we remembered. Rhein Haus did an outstanding job.
Great service even in the middle of this pandemic. Quick ordering and food was brought out promptly
When this location first opened we gave it a try. I was very excited because my family is German. It was a horrible experience. The food was not good at all. So after over a years time we thought maybe it has improved. Not at all! It has gotten worse intact. Not many German dishes on the menu. Very limited if you think your going to a German restaurant and can't find many items of German dissent. Our meal came out on a cafeteria looking thing. The food was SO SO salty! It was not at all good. If you want German food try out Bruno's in Lakewood. It's so much better and less expensive too.
Awful! Pulled pork was drenched in sweet, watery barbecue sauce, and served in a paper bowl. The Schnitzel sandwich had a piece of Schnitzel on it that had obviously been premade and left to dry out in a warming tray...all three sandwiches were like shoe leather. No service, self serve on cell phone, or order at bar....tip suggested!! Literally a ghost town...word must be out.
It is a BBQ place now, with minimal German fare.
Love this place since it's dinner, a pub, and some fun stuff to do too! Nice people
Service was mediocre. Took a long time for anyone to come to our table after we sat down. Had to ask for waters several times...Finally got it toward the end of the meal.
The beet salad was delicious.
Wonderful restaurant to bring visitors. Great atmosphere with lots to do!
Can’t say that I’ve ever left this place hungry. Good food and beer. Wait staff if attentive and the service was quick. Will always keep coming back here.
Our first visit. The menu selection wasn’t very diverse. We decided on the Jaegermeister Snitzel and it was very good. It’s a little on the pricey side for certain items. The service and ambiance were great. Love the games!
Would go back for drinks, but the food wasn’t very good. Service was good, but they weren’t busy, which was surprising being a Friday and Valentines Day. Cool building with inside games. Was looking forward to the jagerschnitzel but barely ate any of it. They took it off our bill.
It was a great place for a German Valentine’s Day
Had an overall good experience. My wife got a bad glass of wine that was a bit off but the waiter was helpful and opened a new bottle. Problem solved. Thanks
We arrived for our reservation and got seated, we left after 30 minutes when nobody would take our orders.
It was ok. The food was not as good as I was expecting.
The combination of food, drink and fun activities make this a great location.
We had a great birthday party
We were there on a Sunday at 3:00 so not too crowded. That’s when the dinner menu started. Pretzels and beer were great. Vegan sweet potato cutlet was good. The meat eaters liked their meals but felt it was a thing special for the price. God place for kids and family.
As always excellent service and nice, knowledgeable wait staff. This is a busy place on a Saturday night but we never felt rushed and there was lots to watch and do. The pork shank is the best meal we have ever had there! So good!
Rhein Haus was a fun, delicious & unique restaurant for a fun family night out!
Service was attentive and personable and the food was great.
The hostess was beyond rude - my party was seated as I parked, I waited for 7 minutes as the hostess talked on the phone, the manager talked on the phone...... not so much as a word - ridiculous.
When I finally got the attention of a third hostess, the server ( blonde bob, yellow sweater, black skirt ) felt the need to argue with me about how long I waited without acknowledgement! We won’t be back.
