    This was the perfect spot for a relaxing date night. Delicious food. The spinach and artichoke dip was amazing! The music was just what we needed to end our night. There was a jazz guitarist there. John Horne. Just wonderfully smooth and relaxing. Service was good too.

    Was so excited about this place given all the great reviews. First off the place is very cool and they had live music the night we were there. The food and service on the other hand were not so great. The dinner roles which you have to order as an appetizer were very good. The drinks were good too. Out if the 5 of us only 1 liked their entree. My son got the scallops. There were 5 and they were the size of a quarter. I’ve never bought them from the frozen section that small. They were not seasoned at all so for $28 not a good value. Two of us got smash burgers. They were not smash burgers at all. They were smaller in size but not smash burgers and were well done with little flavor. The only good thing was the special sauce that it came with. The fried rice side order was inedible. The risotto was actually pretty good and the bang bang shrimp was just ok. So very disappointed in the food. The service was terrible. Our waitress could not have been less interested in serving us. She only came back once. Never asked if we needed refills or checked in on how our food was. Would not recommend unless you just want to sit at the bar and have a few drinks.

    The food was good but the scallops were very small. They do not have a big wine selection. We sat outside as the jazz was playing loudly and we wanted to talk.

    Music was great. We sat too close to have a Casual catch up conversation. If you have dinner to catch up - sit towards the back or outside. Definitely check the food out. It is a must to go see for yourself.

    Rhapsody is a hidden gem! Visiting our grandson at OU for family weekend and wanted to take him someplace nice for dinner. Everything was booked in Athens. We found Rhapsody and decided to try it. Food was outstanding! Ambience was perfect. We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the piano player as well. We will be back!

    We knew it was a place where students were being trained in the culinary arts, so we had a pretty open mind. However, it was just not good. We went for brunch on Sunday. I ordered an orange juice, but they brought out a glass with orange juice filled with ice. This waters it down greatly and tastes terrible. My husband's coffee was so terrible he couldn't drink it. We ordered pretty easy stuff. I asked for my eggs to be such that the whites were not runny. I got almost over hard eggs, no yolk left for dipping toast. The potatoes were good, about the only good thing. My husband got an omelet but they used Italian sausage instead of pork sausage, which gives a different taste. Bacon was hard as a brick. Biscuits were the buttermilk kind from a can. We definitely won't recommend to anyone that's going to the area. A shame, as it seems that day they didn't have a real chef supervising the kitchen. We thought it would be a neat idea to support.

    Surf and turf, perfectly done. Waitress (Abi) was fun and attentive and knew enough to say she didn't know but would find out in response to a question. Another waitress stepped in when Abi got busy to help out. Live music was great, I even knew all the songs he played! Rhapsody has really upped their game.

    Nice people, excellent food. It would be nice if there were specials since menu is somewhat limited. Live music was a bit too loud, but was excellent quality. Overall, it was a great experience.

    Went for Sunday brunch. For a “fine dining” establishment, the food ranged from ok to not acceptable. Biscuits (served in biscuits and gravy) were stale, dried out and hard. Couldn’t cut them with a fork. Eggs Benedict was just average. Breakfast potatoes were the same one gets at IHOP or Bob Evans. Don’t make a special trip to eat here.

    We have always loved Rhapsody and being innkeepers in Logan, we always recommend that our guests eat there. Being plantbased for over seven years, I have always appreciated being able to order an entree that was either vegan, or could be easily made vegan. I did check the menu that was on the Open Table site and it showed a vegan pasta entree. We made reservations, arrived and were seated promptly with an excellent view of Kay Carter and her band. Waters arrived quickly and menus were provided. I was concerned that the menus did not match the online menu on Open Table, as none of the entrees were vegan, nor did the description indicate that they could be made vegan. I was then faced with either eating cheese or fish. I ordered the fish and chips and my husband ordered the salmon. We waited a very long time and just as we were thinking that our order was lost, our waiter appeared and verified that it was in fact lost in the kitchen. He further stated that they no longer had fish and chips. My husband changed his order to the sirloin strips and said that I could have the salmon. When the entrees arrived, I ate the asparagus and rice and brought the salmon home. My husband also had ordered a side salad that never appeared and we were not charged for it. The service at table was excellent and the ambiance was also so enjoyable as we love Kay Carter. Hopefully, the powers that be will see fit to again include a vegan dish on the menu.

    Stayed in Nelsonville for a night and this restaurant was recommended by the bed and breakfast hosts. We were not disappointed! We had a great evening listening to jazzy style guitar music over yummy drinks and food! I had the smash burger w Mac and my boyfriend had the special, a steak w garlic mashed potatoes. Both were delicious cooked to perfection! Great food and not overly expensive for a fun and delicious date night! The dessert menu also looked delicious but we were too full to try anything!

    The food was outstanding. It was presented very nicely and was unique in a number of ways. The mixed drinks that we had were also excellent and just a bit different from the usual offerings at other places. This was our second time here and we will definitely be going back - wished we lived closer so we could go more often.

    As always, another five star dinner at Rhapsody. We eat here every time we’re in the Hocking Hills, and the food is consistently excellent. The service is consistently excellent. The cocktails are consistently amazing. If you haven’t experienced Rhapsody on live jazz night you are missing out!

    We returned here while on vacation after being so impressed two years ago when we came for our first visit. Excellent food and service provided for the most part by culinary students from Hocking College. Only complaint was that they had live jazz tonight. The band was very good with a wonderful female vocalist. We just wish they’d turn down the volume because we couldn’t carry on a conversation or even give the waitress our order easily (she actually jumped over to take our meal order during the band’s break, acknowledging “Now we can hear one another!”). In my opinion, if the music is so loud it interferes with the normal customer interactions, it’s too loud. The food and service are wonderful though, and I would go out of my way on a cross-country trip to stop and eat here.

    We had great service and a great meal. A table for 5 and each had a different entrée. Bang Bang Chicken, Risotto, Pork chop. Burrata Ravioli, Strip Steak. All good. Guitar player. Good cocktails. Reasonable prices. The area doesn't have a lot, but we would highly recommend.

    Outstanding meal, every table was occupied yet the service was excellent & the tables well spaced. The orange roughy & lemon blackberry cake were the best I have ever eaten. The jazz band was a big plus & added to the evening. Would recommend Rhapsody to anyone but be sure to make a reservation.

    Excellent , friendly, helpful staff! We ate off the breakfast menu and all three entrees were delicious. I chose a lot of meat for my omelette, and it was full and fluffy. The restaurant is visually pleasant with a lovely bar presentation.

    All above was outstanding for first time customers. Live music was a plus. My wife and I had a full meal; calamari was exceptional, we each had an entrée and split a dessert. They literally spit our desert in half and served it on twp individual plates, nice touch.

    It’s was Mom’s weekend in Athens but we wanted to come up for my son’s birthday dinner. And everything was totally booked already. However we managed to get a 5:00 pm reservation for Rhapsoody and thankful we did. This place was so amazing. Every part of our experience was top notch. The atmosphere was cool and laid back. The menu had great options to accommodate our food allergies of seafood and alpha gal plus a picky 13 year old. But our server was what made our experience the BEST. She was polite, and checked on us frequently but never rushed us and the place was packed. Plus there was live music. We couldn’t have asked for a better dinner anywhere.
