Rhapsody - Nelsonville
Wonderful meal tonight at Rhapsody! A great way to start our family's weekend getaway to the Hocking Hills. Off to Old Man's Cave tomorrow. Kudos to all the culinary students at Hocking College!!
I made a reservation for our 10th year wedding anniversary. I was pleased that we were greeted so warmly. The type of table I requested was set up. No live Music, but the ambient music was nice. Tables spread out and all servers were wearing appropriate PPE.
Lovely menu options for non meat eaters. Hannah our server was lovely and pleased for our celebrations. Drinks were made delicious! We had Calamari for an appetizer. Smallish serving and a bit salty but nice overall. Entree's were delish. Hind site, it would have been nice to have them described in more detail. My husbands was very spicy, too spicy to eat the rice in fact. We had a lovely experience. No dessert for our anniversary or cocktail was offered. That would have been a nice touch.
We started our dinner with spinach artichoke dip and the chips were fabulous. For the main course we both got blackened salmon. It was very good and the grilled autumn veggies were great. Service was slow especially since we dined early and restaurant was not crowded
Very friendly service. Our server was very accommodating. The food was great.
If you are in Hocking Hills for a day or more, this is a must-do place for a very nice dinner/supper! You will not be disappointed. They also now have limited outdoor seating. It is operated by the Hocking College culinary arts program and is simply wonderful!
Drinks were awesome, appetizers were great, but the burgers and fries were bad. Overdone burgers that were sent back twice and cold fries. The burger was supposed to be medium, it was charred to a crisp and un edible twice. The beyond burger was mush. One burger was perfect but fries were cold. The other dinners ordered were quite good, salmon and flounder. I’d say it was a mixed bag.
Enjoyable dining experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
The food was delicious! They had the best crab cakes. We ordered dessert there as well and were served a dessert so delicious and unique. Loved it. Enjoyed the music being played over speaker. We heard that they have performers around 6pm but we left at 6:10 and no one had come. There was a lot of chatter going on with the wait staff at the bar area which was close to our table. It wasn't a huge deal but I could have done without that. Overall, this is now our favorite restaurant in all of Hocking Hills area. Next time we are in the area we will definitely come back to this restaurant!
Great food in a lovely setting in historic Nelsonville town square. Wait staff were friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend!
Server and someone else were cussing in conversation in the background. A little unprofessional since we spent almost $100. Also the area is kind of sketchy. As we were driving up there were different groups of people looking at us with anger.
We loved this place! The food was so good and exciting to our tastebuds. We would definitely go back and recommended this place!!
Great staff/server and the atmosphere was great unfortunately no live music. The food was great but fried green tomatoes was salty. Altogether good time!
Fabulous food, well prepared.
Tremendous value for what you pay.
I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Nelsonville.
Had a great dinner at Rhapsody's, everything was super.
We learned of Rhapsody through Trip Advisor so we made a reservation. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.
Would go back again when in Nelsonville, or Hocking Hills Area.
Everything was great! A hidden surprise from our Hocking Hills weekend away. We will definitely be back!!
This place is the culinary hi-point of the Hocking Hills area!
Great place with a small, but very well executed menu. Exceptional service.
Staff are always friendly. Ours was a bit overly chatty but we will always come back. Food is amazing. I love the nontraditional menus.
Such a great place to sit and have a fantastic meal made by the local college culinary school...i would recommend Rhapsody to anyone visiting the area and support the college students.
My group of friends went there for dinner and the food was amazing! Our waiter Isaac was so nice and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. The owner of the restaurant was very attentive and very nice as well! 10/10 experience and service!
Our dinner was excellent, carefully prepared, and timely service from our server Hannah!
Good service, good food. Nice atmosphere and location
Excellent appetizers and entrees, friendly service, quiet atmosphere.
Excellent service, friendly staff and the food was delicious. Chose Rhapsody to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Absolutely wonderful!
The food was amazing. We took a 4 year old and a 5 year old and they are picky. They split the meatball dish and loved it. My husband and I both wanted the beef dish. Both of us ate every bite.
FANTASTIC FOOD! CLEAN. FRIENDLY STAFF. ENJOYED THE MUSIC.
The service and food were both fantastic... will definitely eat there again when we’re in the neighborhood
Great food great service! I need to come back very soon!
We had an amazing dinner here. Ordered 3 of the appetizers, which were excellent and priced well. My husband had the shrimp rice dish and I had the pasta with chicken. Both were very good. Service was wonderful and friendly. The chefs are students and instructors from Hocking Hills College. It was a wonderful experience. We also went back for brunch on Sunday. It was also very good.
Best service I have had in a long time. The food was also outstanding
Great service and food and venue! Awesome! Will do again! Thank you!
Tables properly spaced and staff wore masks. Our waitress was stupendous! Food was marvelous. The bar area was full and a little too noisy for our taste but people were wanting to get out a socialize after months staying home due to Coronavirus. Would go back
there in a heartbeat
Celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and everything and everyone was delightful. The chef had a new dessert going on - Hoe cake - it had different flavor combinations it such a beautiful package-YUMMY!! We returned the following night for more!
The staff was great and the food was delicious and beautifully presented .
