   I had dinner reservations for two high school kids for prom. We were waiting outside about 15 minutes prior to our reservation time and were told that we had to wait outside the gates and that we are not permitted to take pictures. I explained that we had a reservation for dinner and we were still told to leave until it was closer to our time. No one in our party was taking photos. We went back at our reservation time and treated so poorly and they acted as if we should not be there. We again told them we had reservations and the staff was very rude to us and told us we are absolutely not permitted to take any photos during dinner. After we got upstairs, we were again told no photos permitted in the restaurant. Our kids were clearly not welcome to dine there. The service was poor and they were rushed out. It is unfortunate because the kids were so excited to start their night with a great dining experience and were treated with such disrespect before they even got into the door. The restaurant was not even 1/2 full on a Saturday night in a major entertainment and retail space. I imagine it is because of the way they treat people.

   RH Rooftop has officially become my go-to restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the stunning ambiance; elegant, upscale, and incredibly inviting.    Fantastic doesn’t even begin to describe our experience at Brunch today. With a stunningly beautiful backdrop of this restaurant, plus the deliciously prepared food, AND the spectacular service, we couldn’t have wished for a better place to celebrate my mother’s 81st birthday.

   The restaurant is beautiful but the overall experience is just meh. The food is not that great at all. But if you want photo ops and vibes this is your place!

   The food was good but the service was not great. It took us a while to be served and the waitress never came back to check on us and we had to ask for water. For the caliber of this restaurant, I expected better service - especially since they were not that busy. To be fair, I have dined here before and did not experience this issue. Maybe it was just an isolated incident.

    Unfortunately we didn’t experience what we are accustomed to on this visit. It took over an hour to receive food, 3 out of the 4 pieces of toast were burned, potatoes were cold…there were a couple other food issues. We didn’t send our food back, and we didn’t complain. I just expect more from this restaurant. I’m not sure if our order didn’t get put into the system or what, but there were 2 tables that were seated after us, received their food, and left before we got our food. I assume we’ll be back,…eventually. But I can honestly say that I don’t have plans to be back at this time. It is unfortunate though….we typically have a fantastic time and good food.
