   I had an incredible brunch experience at Reyla in Asbury Park! The Mediterranean flavors were absolutely on point—fresh, vibrant, and perfectly seasoned. I tried the hash and eggs and it was bursting with flavor, served with chermoula, calabrian potato and zaatar … DELICIOUS! The ambiance was cozy yet modern, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Whether you’re a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or just looking for a unique brunch spot, this place is a must-visit. Let’s not forget the purple drink! Blanco tequila, purple spiced agave, lemon, génépy and club soda is a must! Can’t wait to come back!

   Reyla is a gem! Every dish we ordered was unique, full of flavor and absolutely delicious! We sat at the chef’s table and it was such a fun experience. The waiters and waitresses were super-friendly and knowledgeable- such a great evening!

   We were lucky enough to sit at the Chef’s counter and watch Chef and his crew create deliciously flavorful food. Chef made excellent suggestions and explained the different ingredients. Everything was extremely fresh and we truly enjoyed our dinner!

   Staring out by saying that when friends ask what my favorite restaurant is in AP, my answer is Reyla. Brunch this weekend was with two friends, one of whom hadn't been there before. Our server Jay was fantastic, and it wasn't just his lovely Melbourne accent. He just had great energy, seemed happy to be there and happy to help us if we had any questions - it's what you want from a hospitality professional. My friends ordered the Bennies (one Canadian bacon iirc, the other salmon) and were thrilled with the great flavors. For the first time ever here, I made a mistake in what I ordered. I knew it wasn't going to be as 'exciting' as Reyla's other brunch dishes (Shakshuka and Khachapuri come to mind), but an omelette w mascarpone, arugula, shitakes, bacon, and home fries sounded good, so that's what I got. It was fine. It was boring. I didn't see or taste any evidence of mascarpone (maybe it's whipped in to the eggs?) but it just didn't represent the Reyla I've come to love. Maybe you need one boring item for people who aren't adventurous? It's not like it was inedible, but if you're heading to this restaurant for interesting food, skip this one! And one more shoutout to Jay. We really enjoyed him!

   The entire experience was outstanding. The only feedback is to re-label the coffee cake dessert to a Black Forest cake and add some chocolate to that cake. It’s a good dessert, not what one expects out of a coffee cake; does not live up to the label.
