Perfect portions. Great atmosphere. Drinks were amazing. Food was fresh and flavorful but I wish they would have had molé available. Will be back again.
Fantastic food and service. Gloria was amazing!
Lovely date on the patio, tasty mezcal cocktails, guac and entrees. Very personable waitstaff. Would recommend!
Excellent atmosphere and great service! Would return again!
The atmosphere was pretentious and elegant.
The service was very slow even though we told our server we were in a hurry.
The food and drinks was over priced even though we ordered from the Happy Hour menu.
The only complaint that I have is that it seemed like there was only one waiter for inside and outside. Once he took our order he was not able to get back to us. My kids drinks ran out and were never refilled. I’ve been here before and it’s never been like this.
Food was terrible. Drinks were terrible. Waiter was great.
Food and drinks are top notch. Great place for happy hour or a chill date.
Perfect place for any occasion. Superb food and service
We enjoyed the food (especially my chicken mole), but the noise level made conversation almost impossible, so we won't be back. We older folks are apparently no the target customers.
Authentic and bold flavors. Freshly made guacamole. Drunken shrimp messy but tasty. Fish tacos crunchy, creamy, and tangy. Convivial service.
The food was amazing and the perfect atmosphere for our business dinner.
Service was terrible! Server was on attentive, disappeared not knowledgable or remotely customer focused.
The food and drinks were great. It was loud but we could still enjoy our friends.
The restaurant was beautiful.
Portion size was great for the money.
Our server would disappear at times, but she was really nice and helpful.
This was our first visit, but we will be back!
We arrived a few minutes early, and even though the restaurant had very few in it they would not allow us to be seated for our party of 10. So, we had to open a tab at the bar. I was hungry but did not want to order food at the bar. Our friends began arriving 5 min later and it took me 10 min to close ot our tab. It was just a little annoying. Other than that we had a good time. Food, drinks, and service were all great.
We were delighted with Reyes Mezcaleria on our first visit and were anxious to return. To our disappointment, the second visit left much to be desired. Service and ambiance were still consistent, but this time it was the food and drinks that fell short. The chips and salsa were still delicious, the aged tequila in the margarita was likely an acquired taste and disappointing, the enchiladas verdes was hot mushy chicken covered in "artisan greens" aka chunks of iceberg lettuce, and the pork carnitas tacos were bland. The hamachi tostada was the highlight of our meal, but better as an appetizer. Finally, certainly won't hold it against our server who was very attentive, but my wife and I were asked if we wanted separate checks...um. Really liked this place, but not sure we'll return.
Booked through open table for Valentine’s Day. Wanted a 6:30 to 7:30 reservation but the system said nothing available after 5:45 pm. When I arrived at the restaurant, and throughout the entirety of the meal, the restaurant was half empty; which, was slightly aggravating because it appeared I could have had the reservation time I preferred.
That aside, the restaurant was awesome. I had been to the location as a previous restaurant and think the layout of table placement has greatly improved though it remains a slightly awkward space.
The food was delicious and portions were plentiful. The hostess and waitstaff were top shelf and did a wonderful job of improving the dinning experience.
I will definitely be back to this restaurant for special occasions and the idle Tuesday meal out on the town. Just be sure to call the restaurant if you don’t see your preferred reservation time available.
The ambience is great! The chairs need more cushion. Serving water at table is nice, needs to be cold with larger glasses.
Enchiladas verdes had good flavor, not enough chicken for $16.00. Not sure the blue corn tortillas are working in that dish.
Marguerites were great! Guacamole needed less tomatoes, more avocados.
Overall good service, although we had to go find the waiter to pay the check.
Really great Mexican fare with good pescatarian and vegetarian options. They also carry one of my favorite brands of gin - St Augustine Gin - so that was a nice surprise. It was a little pricey so I won’t go here often but nice on occasion!
I went for my friend’s birthday with a large group. We all had a really nice time. We enjoyed our cocktails, appetizers and main courses. I got guac, salsa, the corn (prolly the best corn i ever had) and the crispy shrimp tacos. I always enjoy the vibe in the restaurant, too.
Amazing food and service
Great authentic Mexican food and great service!
Will go back!
The server was very slow. We had bottomless mimosas and sangrias and we had to keep hunting her sown for more drinks and our bill took forever
Restaurant had just opened for brunch but they “were out”
One of our favorite local restaurants. Nice atmosphere, parking garage, nice variety of tequilas & mezcal. Great service. Outstanding food.
The drinks were delish but the food was boring. I was expecting at least one unique food concept on the menu but nothing was special and what was basic wasn’t amazing tasting. Also the portion sizes were small and unfulfilling.
The one up side was the atmosphere and decor was wonderful. As well as the cocktails.
Service was horrible, ordered bottomless fir Sunday brunch it took an hour to get a refill. Also everyone ordered and no ones food was brought out together it was one plate at a time.
The food and ambiance were great as we have experienced time and time again at this establishment. The only thing that was a drawback is that on the reservation I had noted that it was my husbands 42nd birthday, and there was no acknowledgement of this at all. Something as simple as a candle on the dessert we ordered, or just the server saying "Happy Birthday" would have made the experience better. It's nothing big - but it's the small things that customers remember.
Great food. Service good.
It is pretty dark and very loud but still has a cool vibe. A couple things they need to change are GET RID OF THE BLUE CHIPS AND TORTILLAS. The tacos just fell apart and they don’t taste good with the salsas. Another thing would be have chicken tacos and bring back the red chili sauce for enchiladas.
Great menu, environment, and service.Had an amazing dinner with my family. Service was amazing, the food tasted great, and drinks were of great quality! Perfect size menu, small but with a good amount of variety.
We have loved Reyes since it opened, and always enjoy it. Some of the menu items have changed...we still liked them but missed the old recipes too. Not sure what prompted the update, maybe just keeping it fresh. Overall, it's still a top pick!
Went there for Christmas Eve dinner with family. Both my son in law and 2.5 year old granddaughter have severe peanut allergies, so we regularly choose Mexican cuisine as they do not favor/use peanuts.
Shortly after eating the Flautas, my son in law started to have a severe allergy reaction ( fortunately my granddaughter did not touch this food).
We asked server if any peanuts , she did not know but went to kitchen and they printed recipe that showed it had Peanut butter in it ! My son in law is mid 30's and had never experienced peanuts in this type cuisine.
Waitress was kind but clueless, so I went to see Manager on duty and her reaction was incredulous!
I asked why no warnings on menu, or questions from wait staff on allergies. She said it is our responsibility to let them know. I said we've never experienced this in a Mexican restaurant , and she said well depends on the regional cuisine.
We tried not to let it ruin our family Christmas Eve. He did not need his EpiPen, as Benadryl relieved the swelling, but we will never dine here again, and want to offer warnings to anyone else that lets there guard down on allergies here ( as they obviously could care less)
Excellent food quality and unique approach to several traditional Mexican dishes. Queso Fundido, ribeye steak and snapper were great. Superb chips- very atypical and also very tasty.
Friendly, courteous waiter and staff. Service a tiny bit slow, but this may be due to us arriving at 830pm on a Sunday night.
Would definitely go back for dinner or drinks and appetizers or for a weekend lunch.
We were seated promptly at our reservation time and enjoyed a delicious Sunday brunch. Try the huevos rancheros - delicious!
Worst service and management I have experienced in a really long time. Their credit card machine had to be reset we were ok with that, then 10, then 20 minutes passed they still couldn’t run our credit card. The manager came over and simply apologized but did not offer anything while we continued to wait. Finally, after 30 minutes of waiting I went over and asked for our credit card back. The manager offered a form to fill out to leave credit card information so they could run our card when the machine was back up, seriously how is that the solution!!!
The restaurant is so loud you can’t have a conversation. Food was good but everything else fell drastically short.
I have been eating at Reyes for the last 6 months. In the last two months the food has gone down, as well as the service. The chips and salsa have changed, and not for the better.
Food was fantastic. The server was great. Drinks were excellent. No complaints, would definitely go back.
