Revolve True Food Wine Bar
Some of the biggest current health trends will find a plethora of options on Revolve’s menu; Gluten-free, Paleo, Whole30, Ketogenic, 30/10, Mediterranean, Ideal Protein and others will have more options at Revolve than most traditional restaurants offer. In addition, the restaurant is celiac safe. Many people with allergies and sensitivities can dine without concern for cross contamination since the kitchen is 100% free of grains, gluten, legumes (including soy and peanuts), GMO’s and preservatives.
The concept of this restaurant is the culmination of Revolve owner Dr. Dusty DuBois’ holistic approach to wellness. Everything is made fresh daily from the highest quality ingredients available: grass-fed sirloin cali-burgers, wild caught fish and chips, hormone free bacon wrapped dates, and grain-free bread pudding, just to name a few offerings.

It started off great. I had requested a "Dad Joke" to be presented @ the table. When we all got there, a guy walks up and patiently waits for us to finish ordering and the presents two dad jokes to the table. It was awesome. I really appreciated it, just some silly fun.
After that moment, the experience went down. The waitress forgot my wife's drink (not a huge issue, we reminded her and she got it). We ordered the Cesar Salad and Brussel Sprouts to start. The issue was that they came out with our entrees. The Cesar was good but the chicken tasted like they had purchased it pre-cooked and thrown it on the plate. The brussel sprouts were really good. I would recommend them.
The entrees came out (5 of us) Burger, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Fried Chicken Sandwich, Fish and Chips, and Short Ribs. All of the food had one thing in common, it was not hot. It was more warm. To be fair, we didn't complain, mainly because we were so hungry. So they probably would have warmed them up. The meat in the short ribs tasted old to me. The mushrooms were really good and I would say that the flavor was good overall. The fried chicken sandwich was really dry. The burger was OK as with the rest of the food.
The service was just not good. The waitress seemed a bit disinterested at times and she would forget things. She forgot extra lemons, she forgot my wife's togo box, I believe she may have messed up the order originally which caused the salad issue. I gave the service a 1. At the end of the night as we sat there and talked, she kept looking over. I was assuming we were her last table and she wanted to leave. Being an ex-server we still left her a decent tip, just because I cannot tip poorly.
The place is nice. I know it gets good reviews, but they were off last night!
The restaurant is very inviting and the staff are very friendly. They will let you sample the wine to make sure you like it, which is a bonus. The food is always excellent, even if the portions are a little small.
Normally I love this place, the fact that with all my food restrictions I can still eat almost everything on the menu, and it usually tastes great, is awesome to me. However, on this occasion it was different. First our server seamed overwhelmed, which led to poor service. Second the food was cooked very uneven, one example is half the prawns on my prawn tacos were bitter and burnt. I also ordered items to go and first they weren't all rung up, then when I got home found out some were missing and the portion sizes of the items I did receive was minuscule. I know we all have bad days but I drive an hour to eat here so I expect the consistency I have known in the past.
We've eaten there a few times - this time we sat downstairs, felt a bit like we were put in the basement, service wasn't as good and the ambiance isn't as nice as upstairs.
We really enjoyed our visit to Revolve. Service was good. Food was great (good portion sizes, all gluten free!!, excellent quality). We sat downstairs for this visit, which was a little louder than the upstairs space. But this has become one of our local favorites. We'll definitely be back!
We have now been there twice and found the staff to be very accomodating both times
Valentines Day. Very busy so service was understandably slower. Amazing personalized painted Valentine Day card on the table (as requested.)
Great place. Clams are awesome!
Excellent food and drinks! We enjoyed our special night out for Valentines Day.
LOVE this place!!! It was so nice to enjoy a good meal and have a delicious cocktail that is healthy and Paleo influenced. The meal was so satisfying and tasty. There was no need to substitute or not eat the starchy portion of the meal - it was great. The atmosphere was nice, soft light and good music. We can't wait to go back to try some of their organic and sustainable wines. They also change up the menu from the time to time. Yum!
Great food, regardless of whether you’re looking for a healthy dining option or so comfort.
The service was terribly slow. The avocado toast came out with brown avocado - it looked like it had been sitting for an entire day. My friend had the Greek omelet and loved it. The restaurant is gorgeous and he had a lot of time to enjoy it with the very slow service we experienced.
We recently found Revolve. And we've invited friends to try it. Everyone is impressed with the taste, the variety, and the care with which the food is made. We highly recommend this restaurant. From appetizers to desserts, it is a delight.
One of the best meals I've had at Revolve. Two of us had the Bison Stroganoff and one of us had the Prawn Tacos. Excellent, as usual. Loved the $5 R2 wine pours, too!!
This place is great, outstanding food, friendly staff, nice ambiance.
This was such a great place since my friend and I are gluten-free! It was so nice to be able to eat whatever we wanted! The was delicious and the $5 happy hour wine was great!
I've been to Revolve several times the past year and usually enjoy my meal and drinks including special event wine dinners. But my brunch yesterday with a few girlfriends was disappointing. I ordered an americano and was given a disposable cup with no lid so it was very flimsy to drink from and a bit odd as we were dining in and planned to stay for a bit of time. I ordered my entree and asked for sweet potato fries instead of the typical rutabaga hash since the fries are SO good, but of course was given the hash. Not only that but my entire entree was cold. Cold eggs, brown avocado and cold hash. Not what I'd typically expect from one of my favorite restaurants. Our server was also quite annoyed when we asked for separate checks at the end of our meal. We only had a party of three and didn't require much additional service other than occasional water. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be coming back for brunch again soon.
Bland food. Lacked seasoning. Go for the wine, not the food. Service was inattentive.
Great food. Great place. Great people. Honestly it’s just nice that a place with a paleo menu even exists let alone that it’s a good restaurant.
Best thing since sliced bread! (Gluten free, of course 😊) Great service, amazing delicious food and wonderful Happy Hour selections and prices. I'm doing Keto right now and this was just the perfect restaurant with people who understand special food restritions. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!
This place is amazing! I was delighted to find a new place that is organic, swanky, totally gluten free and NOT trying to be vegan too. I’m gluten free and love my meat and some dairy now and then. One thing that could make it even better is some version of gourmet GF Mac n cheese with goat and/or cheese and some add-in like salmon, tuna, chicken, or even some fancy chicken or turkey sausage! (Add-in because some people don’t eat beef or pork, some can’t have shellfish, and some are bored of chicken - so everyone gets options!!!) the drinks were great and the wine selection is amazingly extensive. The service and delightful moods of the servers made it all come together fabulously.
Took my wife for here birthday while she was on Whole 30. Loved everything about the place. Food was amazing!!! staff was great Shannon and Neal did a fantastic job taking care of us. They were friendly and made us laugh. definitely a wonderful experience.
Really excited about this place. Had great happy hour a couple weeks ago. Waited 25 min to get sat for reservation tonight. Super super slow service. Food was sub par. Overcooked meat, etc. Waitress was nice, but slow. Brought out wrong food. Just kind of a show.. won't go back unfortunately. I wish I loved it.
We LOVE this neighborhood gem. Amazing happy hour deals, outstanding food, and friendly and attentive wait staff.
We have enjoyed several evenings at Revolve and each night has been great. Their servers and bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable. The Happy Hour is a good value with yummy treats.
Our waiter, Theo, was very helpful, courteous and attentive. Great service!
Great tasting food, nice wine list, the staff were very attentive and professional. Short ribs were sold out tonight, so we’ll definitely be coming back!
Food was good but Salads arrived after main dishes were served. Odd for any venue. New waiter was very, very slow and seemed to spend way more time attending to some tables over others.
New Years Eve dinner
Healthy and tasty. I will become a regular here. Every meal we have eaten here is exceptional.
Dined here for my mom's birthday. We picked it because she has dietary restrictions and they offer a diverse menu with something for everyone. That being said, I had a ribeye from the nightly special menu and it was the best steak I have had all year. Great service, great food, great ambience. We will be back!
Interesting and tasty menu choices that are focused on a gluten free/paleo diet. I highly recommend the short ribs but best to substitute the mashed potatoes for riced cauliflower (the potatoes had a strong flavor).
We came here because we heard that this place offered more Keto-friendly options than the typical restaurant. And it's true, my husband had quite a few options to choose from--even dessert. The food tasted OK--nothing special. My husband's Cobb salad didn't have a good ratio of leaves to other stuff (too heavy on the leaves). My Moroccan chicken thighs were good but nothing special. My drink, a non-alcoholic cocktail, was way too sweet. Our dessert of Keto bombs was horrible. I ate them, but it was like eating flavored kindergarten paste. The ambience is nice and cozy. Good neighborhood spot.
It was a very nice place. Intimate, warm, cozy. Wonderful staff and they were putting up Christmas lights.
If you eat Paleo or Keto this is the place for you and me. It is so cool to be able to eat EVERYTHING on the menu instead of salad with chicken.
Amazing food, tremendous service, good look and feel. Completely gluten free menu and surprising creativity in flavor cultivation. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was “okay” and for a ton of staff working service was just “okay” as well.
We are excited to have discovered Revolve. We found the food excellent as well as the staff. Can't wait to visit again and we're telling our friends about it.
You know it's bad when the waitress is apologetic for the menu. Before we even ordered drinks she said "now just so you know, our kitchen is gluten free, grain free, and refined sugar free; but not our bar! Its fully stocked! We have gluten free beer if you want it."
I'm not sure what that awful congealed mass you baked and put the burger on was, but please never call it bread again. Also the crab dip was delicious but the "crostini" served with it was a lie.
Seattle Restaurant Week choice which was close to home compared to restaurants further south. The choice for SRW were varied. Each of the three of us got the braised short ribs and each of us enjoyed it. The bacon-wrapped dates were delish as an appletizer. I had the garden salad and our other friend had the soup. Two bread puddings and one chocolate bark for dessert rounded out the meal nicely. Luke was a great waiter. Our water glasses were constantly refilled and he made sure we had everything we wanted. Small gap of time between appy and dinner and then dinner and dessert, but it was SRW after all. Will I be back? Yes.
