Food is incredible and service is friendly
We had a group of 6 for a birthday. Dinner was delicious! However, service was incredibly slow. Our server would disappear for long stretches, it took 30 minutes to order a round of drinks. We were not able to get separate checks, and so did the math ourselves and handed over our note with card numbers and amounts. In the end he ended up adding $5.30 to one if the cards. Which isn’t a big deal except, it was the member of our party who had just fallen in the restroom b/c they had mopped, the floor was soaked and there was not a sign. They ended up giving her a gift card, but over charged her.....so strange! We joked the gift card was probably $5.30. We had a great time anyway and the food was excellent. With so many great restaurants in the area we probably won’t go back.
Beginning with the hostess, who was not friendly nor welcoming our experience at Revolve was disappointing. Our drinks came after we finished our appetizers, the food was underwhelming at best.
The food was thoughtfully prepared and and good value for dine around week. The restaurant was a bit hard to find as the signage was a bit difficult to see from the street. The upper name was right in the way of the lightpole, and the side signs only visible from the side.
The waiter was trying to be attentive, but there was a large group who needed attention. Understandable on a busy night.
Overall the food and atmosphere was good and will try to visit again soon.
So good, but so slow. We arrived for a 6:00 reservation at 5:45 on a Wednesday night and didn't leave until after 8:00. We weren't in a hurry, but there was a lot of waiting.
We went for Seattle Restaurant Week. The dinner was very disappointing and the waitstaff wasn’t attentive at all. Would come back for brunch just not dinner.
This was our first time to Revolve. The food was excellent, but we had a couple of issues with the delivery timing of our courses. The wait staff was very friendly and serviced us very well. The restaurant atmosphere was nice, but they needed to turn up the heat.
The female staff person as we arrived was excellent, understanding and supportive, working quickly to find us a table even though we had arrived a half hour past our scheduled time. Our waitress was excellent and understanding, giving us time to relax and enjoy our meal. And the food? The bacon wrapped dates appetizer was so appealing and so good that both my wife and myself each ordered it. The desert was fun to share, and the short ribs (although not as much as we would have liked) was tasty. Definitely a place we plan to return to!
We had the three course Seattle Restaurant week specials and all four of us agreed the food was excellent. We ordered a bottle of the featured wine and were not disappointed; very good for the price. It was a bit noisy while we were there, but that was due to how busy it was for Restaurant Week. We have been there at other times and it was very quiet and intimate. I have recommended the restaurant to several friends already and told them to order the panna cotta for dessert; my favorite.
Overall, enjoyable. Food was 80% of the way there. Soup was cold. Chicken was ok. Would return for Happy Hour but less inclined for dinner.
We came during Seattle Restaurant Week : 3 courses for #35
The place is nice, as far as location and ambiance - very good.
My wife's green salad was poor: 3 slices of cucumber, 3 slices of radish, 3 slices of tomato with then mixed greens in a bowl that is hard to eat out of. It was cheap.
I had the dates wrapped in bacon. It was good, but the drizzle was dried, like it sat under the heat lamp too long, so I didn't get to taste or use it.
The short ribs were good, but not great. It was nothing special nor bad. It had no garnish and lacked the same liquid as the pictures on the website. It has Au Jus, just not as much.
The desert was outstanding however. We had the Chocolate Pot di Crème and Pina Colada Panna Cotta.
Unfortunately, not worth $35 per person as I can much of the same for cheaper.
Visited for Seattle Restaurant Week and the waiter was very attentive and great with drink recommendations. I was had chosen the soup for my starter and another server brought them out. Mine was supposed to he a cauliflower soup but it tasted more like a fish stock with slight cauliflower notes...once I was done, I asked about it as I was disappointed in it and our waiter told me ‘Oh, they changed the soup but didn’t tell me’. My friend had the bacon-wrapped dates which were delicious and I wished I had them instead. We both had the short ribs which were good but they tasted more like pot roast and the food wasn’t hot but just warm. Was a little put off that the meal came with mashed potatoes and a veggie, which was cauliflower so this may sound odd, but it was just a lot of ‘white’ food on the plate. We’d ordered the brussel sprouts as a side to share and they were light and delicious. End with the chocolate pot d’ creme and it was yummy. Service was great up front but then faded as the restaurant got busier. I may try again as I liked the location and the interior of the restaurant had a nice feel to it.
Service was friendly, but a little on the slower side. Ambiance, decor & cleanliness were great. We greatly appreciate the all gluten free food menu & extensive GF drink options, but the food portions were very small, considering the price point. However I understand food/prep costs are higher when maintaining a GF menu. Would love to frequent more often as an “everyday dining” spot, but not feasible. -That is unless you come for happy hour pricing.
This place is a bit hit and miss. The food is all gluten free, which is great for me. But I like the dinner options better than the breakfast choices as a general rule. Service tends to be slow (it took about 15 minutes for a waiter to take our order, and another half hour for food to arrive). Really like the feel of this restaurant and it's usually fairly quiet, which I really appreciate.
Love the Gluten free grain free menu options!
This was our second dinner at Revolve. Both dinner h
I’m celiac and love that I can eat here without worrying about getting sick. I have been coming since the beginning and the food keeps getting better. Especially the fish and chips! Love the food!
It took an hour to get my food. And I ordered a salad! I finished my wine long before my meal arrived and no one asked if I’d like a second glass. A waiter told me to click on a link to get $5 off. When I presented the discount to the waiter, he told me he needed manager approval to apply the discount. After 20 min of waiting for him to find a manager, I said forget it. Waiting so long was not worth the $5 off. I won’t be back.
Revolve is a fantastic find! It fits my family's dietary needs plus it is organic and non-GMO. It is a calm and pleasant atmosphere and our go-to place for friend and family gatherings. Very grateful Revolve exists. It is how restaurants should be. Delicious food!
The pork chop dish was very dry. The service was great though.
Party of four. St Patrick's Day. Three of our group ordered their corned beef special. Meat for all of us was inedible, 75% of our portions were pure fat. Enough to make us lose our appetite. Our server was very apologetic and worked it out so that we could order substitute meals. $17 for an old fashioned was very excessive. $18 for a lettuce wrap Burger. Speaks for itself. lots of competition out there for the restaurant dollar. As much as we wished we like this experience we will probably go elsewhere
My first time, i might give it a try again for dinner. The dishes are all gluten free and the taste is average, price is beyond average - for brunch we spent over $100 for 4 people, and we ordered the basics. The server didn't give the discount even though the codes were given to her prior to order. The sign was hard to see from the street.
Wonderful food & service, perfect evening out. We had the roasted brussel sprouts, beet salad, spare ribs, Moroccan chicken plus pot de creme for dinner. All excellent. We had the Perfect-Manhattan and Tipsy-Brit craft cocktails, so good we both ordered seconds, which rarely happens.
Perfect service, they even moved us to a booth when it freed up as the two ladies in our group were uncomfortable in the tall chairs.
I am so thankful to find a restaurant that caters to all eaters, including those of us who are Gluten Free and Dairy Free. Every time I have had a meal at Revolve, it has been excellent. service was also very good!
Will you be open in the spring-summer for lunch? We want to come at that time of day as well. Thank you.
We took my daughter to dinner here for her birthday. She has many food allergies and typically has trouble finding food she can eat at other restaurants. Not only was the food safe to eat here, it was also delicious and surprisingly flavorful. She had the crispy chicken wrap and enjoyed the flavor and texture immensely. I had the cod in almond coating and it was moist, tender and crispy on the outside. I prefer a little more salt on my fish, but the tartar sauce was amazing! The sweet potato fries were also good. My husband had soup and salad. The sweet potato/bacon soup was the best I've ever tasted! My husband also helped me eat the fries. We would recommend this to family and friends!
Great service great food.
We love this place!! One of the only paleo restaurants in our area, I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. And the wine selection is incredible. I love how cozy and private the booths feel. My husband got a free brownie sundae that he said was delicious for his birthday. It’s a lovely restaurant and atmosphere.
We started with happy hour drinks and the brussel sprouts, sweet potato fries and bacon wrapped dates. All were yummy.
Dinner... I recommend the Moroccan boneless chicken thighs.. The fish and chips were pretty good too.
Nice staff... We will be back.
As somebody with celiac, it was amazing to be able to order anything off of a menu
Nice servers, but poor service. It took an hour to get our food, and the orders both came with significant mistakes... As in no muffin for an eggs Benedict. I was told there was one more cauliflower cheddar muffin but food was brought without it, so I had a plate of runny eggs and hollandaise sauce. Ew. They didn't even provide an explanation for it. Our drip coffee was brought to us 15 minutes after we ordered it. They forgot my son's drink. It seems like staff is underqualified and over worked.
Lovely to dine safely with a wheat allergy, lots of menu options. Five star review would be given if just a little more attention given to the food. Bacon dates were almost cooked long enough, seafood Cobb salad a but bland (also just avocado and fish, no tomatoes, olives, cheese, etc to make it a Cobb), bread pudding not warm or sweet enough.
I have numerous food allergies and celiac disease. Revolve allows me to safely eat out, enjoy a glass of wine and EVEN HAVE DESSERT without worrying about going home and being sick for days! Thank you REVOLVE!
I went with my husband and a friend. Everyone enjoyed their dinners and I am happy to not have to worry about accidently getting gluten in my food. Plus we shared an order of chocolate bark which was a great way to cap off the evening.
Revolve is a family favorite! Love that’s its paleo!
Food tasted great but not hot enough.
Service was unbelievably slow. We were the first table seated at opening on a Sunday. The other tables were filled gradually, and they all received their food before us. When ours did arrive, some of it was room temp and some cold. We asked for a desert menu. The waitress gave us 2 for our table of 6. She then said that there was only one cook and that desert would take a very long time. We had assumed the deserts were already made. We did not order desert.
Came here for the first time for our 5 year anniversary. Turned out to be a perfect place. Food was delicious. Service was great. We'll be coming back again.
It started off great. I had requested a "Dad Joke" to be presented @ the table. When we all got there, a guy walks up and patiently waits for us to finish ordering and the presents two dad jokes to the table. It was awesome. I really appreciated it, just some silly fun.
After that moment, the experience went down. The waitress forgot my wife's drink (not a huge issue, we reminded her and she got it). We ordered the Cesar Salad and Brussel Sprouts to start. The issue was that they came out with our entrees. The Cesar was good but the chicken tasted like they had purchased it pre-cooked and thrown it on the plate. The brussel sprouts were really good. I would recommend them.
The entrees came out (5 of us) Burger, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Fried Chicken Sandwich, Fish and Chips, and Short Ribs. All of the food had one thing in common, it was not hot. It was more warm. To be fair, we didn't complain, mainly because we were so hungry. So they probably would have warmed them up. The meat in the short ribs tasted old to me. The mushrooms were really good and I would say that the flavor was good overall. The fried chicken sandwich was really dry. The burger was OK as with the rest of the food.
The service was just not good. The waitress seemed a bit disinterested at times and she would forget things. She forgot extra lemons, she forgot my wife's togo box, I believe she may have messed up the order originally which caused the salad issue. I gave the service a 1. At the end of the night as we sat there and talked, she kept looking over. I was assuming we were her last table and she wanted to leave. Being an ex-server we still left her a decent tip, just because I cannot tip poorly.
The place is nice. I know it gets good reviews, but they were off last night!
Excellent food and great service. We took some friends that had never dined there and they were delighted.
As someone who must eat gluten free (celiac disease) , I LOVE knowing I may safely eat anything on the menu! The rest of my group, with no food restrictions, all enjoyed their meals and and plan to return also.
