Went for Restaurant Week. The food was great. Even my picky kids ate their food. Good appetizers (burrata and heirloom tomato, rock shrimp chowder, calamari), entrees of pappardelle with duck confit and flat iron steak. Cannolis for dessert.
Cocktails are generous too (not watered down/weak).
Would go back with more folks too, they knew how to handle groups.
Great restaurant week menu Yummy
We waited over 15 minutes before even being acknowledged. Once a waiter visited our table he served us but service is extremely slow. The food is good but once we ended our meal and asked for our leftovers to be packaged we waited another 20 minutes for our package. Overall, if you want to spend your money or casino points you may want to consider another venue.
Wonderful dinner with my wife. Food was fantastic and service was outstanding
I have dined here numerous times and I am satisfied with the excellent food and fine service. One area that needs attention; however, is the hostess response to two women dining out. I always ask for a larger table and repeatedly the hostess insists we be seated at a small table. It only happens when I dine with a female friend or my sister. When I dine with a male client or my husband, we are never walked to a table for two. I understand the seating arrangement and you trying to keep your larger tables open for larger groups. That is specifically the reason I try to dine early_get in and out before the crowd. Do you find that women dining together deserve lesser attention Pertaining to seating arrangements? I noted the same evening that every male/female of two that came in after my sister and I, were seated at larger tables. I knew one couple and asked them if they had asked for a large table-they said no and they did not have reservations. Also, your hostess said there were no notes in the computer stating I asked for a large table (basically telling me I was not being truthful) I had booked on line, then on my drive down I called to request the larger table. While this issue May seem trivial to you, I found myself feeling offended. Please give attention to the matter since it has been a reoccurring situation.
The prime rib-eye steak was very tasty. The service was great. We had a wonderful, enjoyable dinner.
It took over 1 hour and 15 to get food on the table after order got cold sides and ice cold cofffe
Food was a little pricy for the quality. Waiter was good. Halibut was over cooked. Seating was fine and the pace of the meal was very good.
Amazing strip steak!!! Great service by Blake!!!! Fantastic side dishes!
First time here for our daughter's 23rd birthday, also Valentine's Day and it was awesome. The services was spectacular and the food amazing. Will definitely go back!!!
The lamb Chops were amazing! I will definitely be returning for them
The $74 prime steak was tough. So much for prime!
Wine we ordered turned out to be not so good.
The food is always good at Revolution, but the wait staff is what sets it apart. Eric and Tina are two of my favorites and always make my visit enjoyable.
This was the first time me and the wife had stayed at your Hotel (wanted to do some gambling) and we tried the Chop House for dinner.
Service was great. Our waiter was very nice and did a great job. The food was not that good at all though. I had the Filet and she had the Fish of the Day. For the price I was expecting a lot more. We loved the hotel and we loved the Casino and would probably come back but not to eat.
Had a wonderful dinner and dessert. Waiter was very attentive and thorough and always had a smile. We will be back.
The steaks, though very pricey, were the safest bet on the menu. In our party, there was also one fish of the day, and one root veg risotto. The fish was tasty but overcooked. The risotto was overcooked, and almost completely flavorless. The sides were competently prepared, however. If you really need a $60 steak, this is your place.
I went with my mother for my birthday. The hostess was miserable. She did not greet us properly and when I told her I had a reservation she looked at me like I was lying or something odd. I had to ask her if she did not see my name then she just nodded at me. She did not welcome us in a proper fashion for the type of establishment that I would have expected more from. Everyone else was nice respectful kind attentive and made us feel like we were important. The food was delicious. The desert was phanominal. We were not asked if it were a special occasion which shocked me because most places do. Over all we were happy. I would return and recommend.
Fantastic dinner and service. Hidden gem.
I can’t recommend this place. The lobsters were over cooked. My chicken was burnt and I thought the skin was a bone. The steak was burnt. The app and dessert were definitely sitting for a long time before being served bc the raspberry sauce was gel stuck to the plate. The soups were good but the shrimp was stale or old. Very disappointed. For the price we paid, it really should have been prepared better. I’m still sick from the 12/31 meal. :-(
NYE last minute reservation. We were taken good care of. I would return
Excellent food; very well prepared. Eric, our server, was outstanding! One cannot ask for a better 'date night'- great food, quiet atmosphere, outstanding and personable service.
Revolution Chophouse is an outstanding place for dining. The atmosphere is a quiet Oasis away from the bustle of the casino, and the food is absolutely top notch. The NY Strip steak I had there was generously portioned and one of the finest I've ever enjoyed.
The food was delicious. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. Our waiter ignored us for the entire meal and never checked to see if everything was alright or if we needed anything. We literally saw him only when he took our orders and then not again until he went to present us with the check.
First time there and the best thing was the waiter who brought our bread and the girl who brought our salads. For the $150 bill, it should’ve be A LOT better. Should be ashamed of it. $16 for a margarita that tasted like dish water.
Food was great and service was excellent.
Service was superb, as always. Had a couple of their more economical choices - short rib pappardelle and shrimp alla vodka - and they were excellent.
Great food as always, the dumplings are amazing as well as the side Mac and cheese
Had the lobster, shrimp cocktail & & Brussels sprouts. I always like your Brussels sprouts. Excellent meal. Waiter was very attentive- I believe his name was Juan. Very enjoyable
Chicken parm had a funny taste the bread was stale .Spaghetti look like it came from a can .
The reason I gave a good overall (should have given lower) was because it was very slow getting our meal and this was discouraging because we advised that we had a show to catch. Our main courses arrived 15 mins before showtime. Also, the calamari appetizer for I believe $10 could fit into a very, very small dessert saucer. Normally, u can share calamari with the table! Very disappointing! It was the most skimpiest offering of calamari I've ever had! I've eaten at MANY restaurants (thankfully). The biggest regret of my meal was that we were celebrating my husband's Birthday and other than saying Happy Birthday to him when we arrived...that was it! No special dessert no other acknowledgement nothing!!! I've never been to a "nice" restaurant EVER where they treated u so shabbily in this area! With that being said, our waiter and bartender were extremely nice and that made up for a lot!
Went for wife's birthday and can't wait to go back. The service ,food and just everything was perfect !!!!
Thank you. The service was great and the food was excellent.
Talk about a Jekyll & Hyde restaurant. Our previous visit everything was perfection. This time not so much. My wife ordered a heirloom tomato salad doctored up which they were happy to do but the salad sucked. The tomatoes were mealy, stringy onions, the whole thing not very good. We explained this to our server who responded that some people enjoy mealy tomatoes served this way. He eventually did remove it from the check. I had the shrimp chowder which as a kick but really no flavor. My wife’s lamb chops were so salty. Very over seasoned. I had the fish of the day, a stone bass or it should have been called stone bad. It tasted as if it was cooked before and just warmed up. The bread wasn’t fresh. Maybe dining on a Monday night isn’t a good idea. Besides that everything was outstanding! (My Heineken & my club soda) Need to find a new place to spend my casino comps.
I noticed the manager going from table to table checking on diners but missed stopping over at ours. Coincidence? Maybe. But he would have gotten a earful
Great anniversary dinner. Alyssa, our server, was excellent! So was all the staff. Food was great quality. We did the wine flights and that was perfect.
I would not recommend this restaurant at all. While the food was very good the service was awful. It took over 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and it was a a manager saying our waitress was right behind him as he rushed by our table and it was still 5 minutes till she came to our table. Then it took over 15 minutes just to get drinks. The waitress never checked on us throughout our time there. The manager never came back to check on us again. There was also a large group that was extremely loud and yelling right off in a side dining room. All of this ruined the entire experience which was to be a quiet date night for the two of us.
The floor surrounding our table was absolutely filthy when we arrived despite the fact that it was a 5:30 reservation. Our server Michael seemed intoxicated. He spilled soda all over my son, himself, the table, and a phone, and didn’t even notice (despite that it was dripping off of his hand). He seemed to have a hard time even explaining the specials to us and kept trailing off. Service was unbelievably slow, although the person who brought water and bread was more helpful than the server. Our food ranged from mediocre to terrible. The buns on my short rib sliders were stale and very hard. The meat was dry. They seemed liken they had been made hours ago and sat out. Truly one of the worst dishes I have had anywhere. But our server was nowhere to be found during that portion of the meal and I was so hungry that I eventually suffered through them by picking most of the bread off. The wedge salad that we had when you first opened, and loved, was a total disappointment. The calamari was rubbery and tough. I could go on about the rest of our dishes, but the short version is, nothing was good. We will not return under any circumstances. It was such a disappointment because it was for my father’s 73rd birthday and we really wanted it to be special.
Good food and service
Great spot before seeing a concert at valley forge casino. Our server was excellent. Food was outstanding. The calamari was unique but wonderful, My steak was outstanding and so were my girlfriends scallops.
First time meal over the weekend. I frequent the casino and decided to try this spot for dinner. Completely impressed. From the attention of staff (managers stopping to check on the meal and service - ours that evening, Joe, was wonderful), quality of service (bartenders, servers and all wait staff were gracious and on point), the overall taste (the food was perfectly prepared) and value of the meal (pricing is in line with traditional chop houses $18-25 for pastas, $40 for filet, a la carte sides in $10 range) and the calm, warm, semi-romantic feel of the restaurant - it was a win-win overall. Looking forward to going back, trying additional items on the menu, and just stopping by for bar bites when we're not in the mood for a traditional dinner.
This is one of the few places that always has consistently good service, food and drinks. This past weekend wasn't any different. The drinks were spot on, the service was impeccable and the steaks were fantastic. I would go here for the roasted brussels with bacon alone, but all the food is incredible. From the busser who doesn't miss an opportunity to support a server on the floor to the manager who always stops by your table to make sure everything was up to par. The entire operation runs the way you would expect a high end steakhouse to operate. Our waitress (Alyssa) always had a smile on her face and never left us waiting for anything.
