Have it three starts overall because my first dish, the risotto was bland and undercooked. My dining companions both enjoyed their fish but felt it lacked flavor. Mashed potatoes tasted exactly like they came from a box. Upside we’re the friendliness of staff, the Mac and cheese, awesome. And the steak. Just get the steak if you go, they do it very well. Desert was bread pudding - pretty decent and chocolate tart (not a fan but others liked). Prices are very high.
The waiter saved the meal! He bent over backwards for food that mostly came out lukewarm. Don't know what it is with the food now but a few years ago it was alot better. Our last 2 visits here, it was nothing to write home about!!! Too bad!
My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary. The food was absolutely horrendous and we are not fussy eaters. We will never return. Spoke to three women at the next table and they said the same thing. We spoke to the manager she was very accommodating.
Hard for me to write a review since they had a power outage and didn't notify us that they were closed. We showed up dressed and hungry for our reservation. Little disappointed we were not notified.
They were closed due to flooding and never notified me
Great server, She was new and made the place that much better because of her personality. Food was very delicious and promptly served after ordering.
Didnt like the ala cart menu. Steak wasn’t very tender. And unseasoned. Asapagus was good. Calamari was good. Truffle fries TOO well done.
Great service from Tina and all meats were cooked exactly as ordered...
The service was terrible are waitress seem like she did not know what she was doing our drink orders took forever. Although the food was okay the service made the dinner experience lousy
Very good on all levels. Meaning the food, service and ambiance are great. Thank you for a good time.
Your friend, Tim McLain.
Very good experience and food. However, noted on reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, yet each of the half dozen tables seated tonight were together. Despite a nearly empty restaurant and two obvious sections open, we were say immediately next to another couple. Another party had to request to be seated elsewhere, otherwise they have joined what felt like a growing party.
I've found over the past few months that the quality of the chef's cooking has gone downhill.
Last month I had the risotto, which had unedible greens of some sort in it that I kept picking from my mouth until I gave up on whole dinner.
Just this past Monday 7/16/18, my dinner companion ordered a filet medium. The steak arrived mostly well done.
We've never before had an issue with the way our steaks were cooked. Always were cooked and seasoned perfectly.
This time I ordered the shrimp chowder, with a crab cake and calamari from the appetizer menu as my entree. These items were all delicious.
I believe the chef needs to step up and return the cooking to where it once was, or risk losing the 5 star rating.
Good food and good service. Would return when back in the area
Awesome place! Our server, Tina, was as awesome as awesome can be! She was well informed, very educated and super fun for our birthday celebration. If every server was like her I would NEVER have a bad experience in a restaurant. A ++++
We went in search of outstanding beef and in that, were not disappointed. The three of us had truly excellent filets, cooked exactl as we each asked.
But the location is really dismal. If one enters through the Radisson Hotel, one walks the equivalent of many city blocks, up and down a windowless hallway before eventually finding the restaurant. Suggest the website clearly state a direct entrance.
Given hefty prices, we expected a bit of elegance. I would go back for the meat, but not expect a ‘dining experience’ to take guests to.
Absolutely delish! Will be going back hopefully in a few weeks!
The food was delicious and Michael was very attentive.
Everything was excellent!
Great experience !!!
I have eaten here many times and have always had a wonderful meal, but this last meal was not good. The vegetable risotto had some type of unchewable vegetable in it. I kept picking these things out of my mouth until I'd had it. I couldn't finish and I'd only started. The waiter was very nice and took the meal price off the bill. I did have excellent calamari as an appetizer. I will return to Revolution Chophouse, but not for that risotto.
While the food was decent, I would not recommend Revolution Chop House for the price. First, in order to walk into the restaurant, you have to go through the casino entrance which means walking through a gigantic cloud of cigarette smoke. Our service was mediocre and I actually laughed out loud at the presentation of my husband's filet. For $54, I expected a little more than a slab of beef in the middle of the plate. It literally came out in the middle of the plate without an ounce of garnish. I understand that sides are ordered separately, but the presentation was a joke. The acoustics in the restaurant were not great either. It wasn't even that crowded, yet it still seemed very hard to hear. It was also very hard to see, and I saw other patrons shifting their menus into the light just like I did in order to see. It was our 16 year anniversary and a rare night out from our 3 children so we were a bit disappointed in the overall experience. I wish we had chosen some place different.
meal was good.
our server Jason was great.
my wife said it was too cold in there. we ate at 5:15. maybe just needed more people in there.
Our server, Kamal did a fantastic job. He’s a keeper!!
Great food, waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and knew exactly when to be at the table
We were traveling to the area for one night. I researched restaurants near our hotel. Revolution had good ratings so I thought we'd give it a try! The food was very good. Our waiter (can't recall his name) was very good & well mannered. He had made a mistake and didn't hear one of the entree orders, but was able to quickly take care of the issue & have the meal brought out timely. Thought the prices were very reasonable given the restaurant is in a hotel/casino...would definitely return if we are back in the area.
Went for Mother’s Day, and the buffet was very good. The omelet station was a little backed up. That could have used two people instead of one. Because of the line, I did not eat an omelet.
It is just too cold to eat there. The food was great, service was okay but appeared to be busy. It was just way to cold to really enjoy your meal. Instead of cold drinks you wanted hot coffee.
We loved everything about this restaurant! Didn't even know it was here but now we know and we will definitely be making plans to come back. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had the most polite and efficient waiter (ERIC) and the crème brulee dessert was the best we ever had anywhere.
The food was amazing and presented beautifully!
The atmosphere was of an outdated hotel lobby restaurant - not the steakhouse of a casino.
The food was disappointing at best, but the prices were still high-end.
What a shame this was our second visit and the service was terrible however the first time we went your service personnel could not be more accommodating. I think you should really stand better
The food was delicious but the staff made the experience extra special. We enjoyed the Easter Brunch, but will definitely return for dinner. All in our party would recommend the buffet brunch- the charcuterie was varied and interesting, the seafood selection was fresh and included flavorful clams, oysters, shrimp and crab claws, the main courses were delicious and the fun surprise was the fried chicken on mini waffles! We can't say anything about desserts- we were too full! The staff was so friendly, accommodating and efficient! We are local and we will return! We agree that this restaurant would be excellent for a business dinner! The professionalism of the staff is impressive, and we include the chefs in that complement!
This was my first time dining here. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and great menu selection.
It was the last night that my Dad was in town visiting and it was the perfect cozy restaurant for us to catch up without any distractions.
I will be back for sure!
Excellent service, knowledgeable bar service and good selection of menu choices.
The food was perfectly cooked and well seasoned, although the clams casino were a bit salty they were still tasty. It’s nice that the restaurant is on a different level from the casino, so the casino did not detract from the overall experience.
Went for Restaurant Week. The food was great. Even my picky kids ate their food. Good appetizers (burrata and heirloom tomato, rock shrimp chowder, calamari), entrees of pappardelle with duck confit and flat iron steak. Cannolis for dessert.
Cocktails are generous too (not watered down/weak).
Would go back with more folks too, they knew how to handle groups.
Great restaurant week menu Yummy
We waited over 15 minutes before even being acknowledged. Once a waiter visited our table he served us but service is extremely slow. The food is good but once we ended our meal and asked for our leftovers to be packaged we waited another 20 minutes for our package. Overall, if you want to spend your money or casino points you may want to consider another venue.
Wonderful dinner with my wife. Food was fantastic and service was outstanding
