On the original site of the former Huntsville Hotel that burned in 1910, 106 Jefferson stands today. We pay homage to our past for the month of June with our latest pairing in our Burgers and Bourbon Series. Introducing “The Smokehouse” paired with Old Forester 1910 for $35 per person. The Smokehouse Burger features a house made Tenderloin Grind, Smoked Gouda Cheese, Mission Fig, Red Pepper Flakes, Candied Tomato and Spice Arugula. Old Forester 1910 compliments the the flavor with notes of Burnt Caramel, Vanilla, and Oak. The pairing of Old Forester 1910 Old Fine Whisky with The Smokehouse is a June Monday night to remember.

After having a few bad meals when this place opened, we decided to give it another chance. It has improved significantly. Service was excellent. David, our server, was spot on in attentiveness and with his suggestions. The restaurant is pretty and was busy, but wasn't too loud for us to talk. The food has gotten much better. We had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and they were delicious. We both got the salmon with artichokes and asparagus. It all worked well together and was very tasty. Only complaint is that we just asked that the salmon be cooked per the chef's recommendation and it was over cooked and dry. The wine list is decent with options in all price ranges. Hopefully, it will continue to improve even more as we would love one more choice for a nice dinner downtown. We do wish their outdoor space would have been open. They said it was closed due to a chance of rain, but it was a lovely evening. Too bad they couldn't pivot easier to accommodate outside dining. Maybe have a couple of awnings or large umbrellas at the ready to employ? It isn't a terribly big space. This wouldn't be hard to do.

It took over 100 minutes to get our party’s meals to the table. We allotted 2 hours for dinner as we had made another reservation which we were late for. We discussed this with the manager at the 75 minute point. This caused us to be late for the next reservation and there was no apologies and they included a 20% gratuity on the bill. Food was great. Waiter was great. Management and kitchen horrible.

Im not sure why the reservation was needed when their was hardly and guest and the fees if didn't show and the service was excellent and atmosphere was nice but for the reservation we were expecting a more extensive menu, I would say great place for drinks or burger.

If we were there just to casually hang out, the bar area would have been fine but we were there for my birthday dinner so service was slow as the bartenders were busy making drinks for the entire restaurant and bar. Only other thing I would change is the background music. Other than that, the food was delicious and priced at what I would expect for that type of dining.

The crab and shrimp hush puppies may be the best appetizer I have ever eaten, they were amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was delicious- I especially liked the Braised Pork Cheek and Crispy Jowl- very tender and flavorful. Several people at the table commented on how good the hanger steak was too. My only commnets are that the french fries on the Steak Frites were ok at best- I would substitute for another side item. Our server was friendly and helpful and the restaurant itself was comfortable. Overall a very tasty and enjoyale experience for our party of 8.

We wanted to find a special place to celebrate the birthday of a friend, is this was not it. The server was great but the menu lacked and the food was not the best. They did a nice thing for her birthday, brought her some cheesecake and champagne but otherwise it lacked. Even though our server did a great job, they pulled him to another location and we had to request him to get our bill. We will not be going back there anytime soon.

We had a great experience at Revivalist. We loved everything from the moment we got there. Having valet parking made arriving a breeze. The restaurant decor is elegant and warm. The wait staff was on point and the food was perfect! I'm so thankful to have an excellent restaurant in Huntsville.

Bone in NY Strip had good flavor, but was tough to chew. Not as tender as expected given the price. Rest of the meal was good, but nothing really Wow’d me. Service and overall feel of the restaurant was top notch.

Good food. Shrimp and grits were good but the grits were not very sick. The gnocchi was superb and the hush puppies delicious and moist. Was personable and attentive. We had a reservation, but there was no wait time. Food arrived quickly and was very hot. Will definitely go again.

Magnificent evening. Tab was our server. Managed our table very well. Provided suggestions when appropriate food was wonderful. Appetizer, entree, and dessert. Very well kept and clean space. Highly recommend Revivalist for a special evening. Can not say enough quality things to say of Tab. If you have a chance to visit Revivalist…. TAKE THE CHANCE.

Sasa took amazing care of us, a group of 11. Our drinks never seemed to be empty and the food came out at the perfect time, just enough time for us all to get settled and have a little conversation. The name of the gentleman that was helping Sasa escapes me, but he was an invaluable member of the team. It all made for an unforgettable Easter brunch. We will be back!

We enjoyed our food, the wait staff and up-scale restaurant. The Grilled Romain Lettuce salad was delicious as was the general Goat Cheese appetizer.

We dined hear based on recommendations from friends and reviews on this site. It was obvious from the moment we arrived that it was going to be an evening that was going to require patience. This is a beautiful restaurant with a great menu. Wine list is pricey, but offers nice choices. The lack of staffing became very clear. While our server did his best it was an extremely long dinner with long periods of no attention. The main entrees were poorly timed and not proper temperature when served, however after 90 mins we were starving. I do not like posting this because it was obvious that this was a low staff incident. I would advise that this could have been communicated and handled better.

What a great birthday lunch for my friend and I! The ambiance is great, quiet enough to talk. I had the Stacked Rueben which was the perfect amount of very lean, tender corned beef, and just enough pickled cabbage. My friend enjoyed the Chicken salad croissant. We shared the super-dense chocolate espresso cake which was delicious and not too sweet. All the staff wished her a happy birthday and the service by Michael was excellent!I highly recommend Revivalist!

Very nice place. Great ambiance! The food was good. I wouldn’t say great. The value was not the best either. You could go up the street for a better value and the food would be better as well. I’d give it a 7 out of 10.

The place is beautiful and comfortable. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Kitchen was short staffed, like a lot of places these days so it took a long time to get our food. Highly recommend the horseradish mashed potatoes - so good!

This was our first visit to the restaurant, so we did not know what to expect. We were seated quickly and introduced to our servers. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our questions. The recommended wine was excellent as was the fried green tomato appetizer. The house salads were tasty and the redfish and salmon were outstanding. It would be difficult to find anything that could be improved. Highly recommended.
