Revival on Lincoln
Parking was a problem since I am handicapped. Only street parking and steps to climb up to the restaurant
The food was delicious and the service was great. Our server was very attentive and the food was top notch. My husband is vegan so it would be great to maybe have one more vegan option. The drinks were great with the exception of the Thomas J which tasted like salt water and sand, the four liquors in the drink do not belong together, it just felt like there was too much going on.
Menu was refreshingly brief. Enough variety without excess. Food was good, not great. Main dining area was noisy when nearly full and could have been cooler on an early July evening.
Evening spoiled due to lack of sufficient air conditioning. After eating, felt queasy and left ASAP.
Food was great, service was great, restaurant is adorable. Only complaint is the lack of air conditioning; it was a very hot and humid evening so it became quite uncomfortable indoors by the end of the meal.
Very nice dinner. Service was great. Evan was very good. Ownership is great and proud of the Bellevue roots.
My only complaint was there was little to no air conditioning....very uncomfortable! That being said, the food was wonderful and the place is beautiful. We will return but not until the fall.
Went for an impromptu date night- got a quiet table by the fireplace, loved the old books - cute accent pieces. Side room we were in was quiet however the rest of the restaurant was very, very, very loud. Salmon was perfect, no complaints. Husband had hanger steak special, he said it was "ok". Cheese plate...I would not recommend, only 2 selections and both were not great. Bar has decent wine but really limited scotch selection. Would definitely go back though! Price point was reaaonable.
Service was excellent. Staff was very attentive and great with recommendations on the menu and history of the location.
Absolutely wonderful! My husband and I had dinner for our anniversary and we were very impressed with this "new" neighborhood gem! It was as good (or better) than most downtown restaurants, and convenient for those who are commuting from the North of Pittsburgh/Sewickley Area. Excellent food, impeccable service, great location. And the prices were very reasonable! We will be back!!
Delicious food at affordable prices!
Food and wine were very good. Service was spotty - waitress was very nice but seemed to be too busy.
The portions were small. The cocktail was watered down. My salmon was over cooked.
I have been to this restaurant several times and they never disappoint! Food was delicious and our server was a delight. So nice to have such a great restaurant in the Northern suburbs and not have to travel downtown!
Great everything! The service and food were wonderful!
Very warm inside and staff was overwhelmed by a large party upstairs. Service very slow and items - like bread and water while waiting - were not delivered, although offered and requested. When food arrived it was very good and the building looked lovely. The interior, however, was uncomfortable warm.
Beautifully restored home, restaurant. Excellent service and food for value. It was very very loud inside due to the layout and difficult to have a conversation.
Decided to go for brunch. Parking is bad and there is no lot for customers only street parking. To work around this we went when they first opened. No issue with parking! Food was good. Nice variety. Our waitress was great. Never had to ask for a thing! Will go back for brunch or maybe try lunch next time.
Love this place and that it is walking distance to my home. Really really hope they will let us have pets on the porch/patio or somewhere outside. All four couples we were with Saturday want to come back but would like to be able to sit outside and bring there pets. It’s the way it is now they are people’s family/children. I would have to miss out on enjoying your wonderful establishment and summer nights in PITTSBURGH because I can’t stop by and have a drink and a bite when I am walking in Bellevue with my dogs. Love the food always wonderful. Service was a little slow but not terrible. New people I think work g out the kinks I hope.
Charming atmosphere, great food and friendly service. The hostess was awaiting are arrival and made us feel very welcome. Fred, our server, gave excellent advice and great service! Chris, our bartender, also gave excellent service and was very attentive. And last, but not least, Matt, the GM is supportive of team and steps up and in wherever needed!
Food was great and our server did an amazing job. It Got a little loud as the place got more crowded but nothing too bad.
Had brunch here a few times which was very good. Had dinner this week with my wife. Great cocktails. I had the pork chop which was just amazing. The sweet potatoes on the side just exploded with flavor. My wife had the steak special which was cooked perfectly and tasted great with the sauce and gorgonzola. My only recommendation would be to lose the 2 seat table in front of the fireplace in the room to the right of the entrance. The hostess tried to jam us in there and it's right on top of a 4 seat table which was occupied by 4 large people. All other tables in the room were empty so I asked to sit at one of them.
Food staff and service were top notch! Excellent special occasion buffet. Can’t wait to go back for regular dinner and Sunday brunch.
Service was great. Food was great. Need to work on the lighting a bit. Would totally go back!
Not your fault but people next to us extremely loud until they left after their dessert. Food was excellent We will be back. JJ
The food was outstanding.
Not the place for a nice romantic evening. Large tables are too close to the smaller tables. The atmosphere is crowded and the noise causes everyone to have to shout at each other. Food was fine, but overpriced.
We were celebrating a special occasion and Revival on Lincoln did not disappoint. The food was great, the place is beautiful and our server was very personable. There was a large table nearby that began to ramp up the noise level considerably - to the point where we could hardly hear each other. However, I'm not sure what you could do to alter this situation.
I love the building, it is beautiful. I cannot day enough wonderful things about how awesome the food is. It is VERY LOUD! So loud that it is difficult to have a conversation. Sound buffers would help - it it because of the openness and wood floors. I specified no pecans on my salad and trusted this would be the case. As I was eating my salad, I noticed that there were pecans - I am very allergic to nuts. This was incredibly distressing. It would have been nice for my replacement meal yo have priority and come out quicker instead of waiting an extended period of time. More training needs to happen so this does not occur again.
Recommended by a friend and was not disappointed. Beautiful place, great staff and parking was easier than expected. Food was amazing!
Excellent food in a beautiful setting. Love the old world charm with wonderful foos.
Although small, the restaurant was lovely. Great job reviving! Our server was very attentive and helpful. The food was very good. Everything is a la carte and a bit pricey but delicious. It was busy, so we waited a bit for our food but it was perfect because we wanted to take our time and enjoy the evening without feeling rushed like you do in so many chain restaurants. I would definitely recommend and return.
We loved the location and the music (Jazz) was great. The food was delicious. The service was slow. I think if this corrected this could be a big hit.
Food and Service are amazing. Highly recommend dining there.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious.
Great experience. Great food.
Hip and elegant. Staff was very accommodating.
As usual the food was amazing. We started with the smoked tomato baguette, which is absolutely delicious and flavorful. The roasted butternut squash and grilled broccoli is my favorite and has such amazing flavor I highly recommend it. My mom had one if the specials that evening, the steak with roasted vegetables. Also fabulous!
It’s great to have a fresh injection of fine food, good ambiance, and service aimed to please in the North Hills. We will definitely return!
This was an excellent date night for us! From the moment we walked in until we were finished with our dessert, the experience exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely marvelous and presented so beautifully; including the bread, soup, main course (I had the special - flank steak and my wife had the Braised Short Rib) and dessert. The building is unique and the remodeling makes this a really classy restaurant. We will definitely be back!
