Enjoyed our meal. This was our first time to eat at Revival...have been coming to Applewood for nearly 30 years. Found the $25.00 corkage fee excessive, as we purchased 3 glasses of wine!
We've been to every incarnation of this restaurant for 15 years. This one has great potential. The staff was attentive. Ingredients were fresh and savory dishes well executed. The panna cotta was loose and more closely resembled a yogurt in flavor, but was still tasty. Just not well described by the name. A good wine list. The music was loud for the rest of the ambiance. We look forward to returning to an expanded menu.
We had a lovely dinner! At 7pm on a Saturday night it was fairly quiet with only 2 other tables dining, but by 8pm the place was packed and very lively. We ordered 3 small plates, 5 medium plates, and one entree for 2 people. The standouts were the halibut crudo, broccoli, and burrata with stone fruit. Will definitely come back to see what menu updates they make for the next season!
Beautiful, unfussy but elegant setting just outside Guerneville. The food was wonderful. We shared the anchovy (clean, fresh, bright) and the scallop (orgasmic flavors) appetizers. We both had the halibut entree (with risotto, pea shoots, all the things I love most). We shared the peanut butter dessert (another tour de force) at the suggestion of our charming waiter. Wine list was just perfect in our estimation. Service was lovely, unpretentious, warm without being in-your-life. Can't wait to go back for more.
