   The best dining experience I’ve ever had. It was absolutely tremendous, chef/owner. Johnny is world class. The expertise, friendliness, and accessibility of the team was in markable. One special touch that I loved was that the chefs themselves brought the food to the table and presented it, really made the experience special.

   Overall, really pleasant time. Some standout dishes—venison (I know it’s a seafood place), and the crab soup thingy with caviar. I still miss the duck from Bar Spero more, however. Wine pairings generally tasty, but not outstanding (did not ask for an additional pour of any). However, the somme is a total delight. Service was a bit heavy—perhaps my silverware signaled I was done, but it did seem that a couple times dishes were cleared when we weren’t totally done. Once a year proposition. But would be happy each time. Pro tip: it’s on InKind…iykyk

   If you haven't been to Reverie yet, then what are you waiting for?! My husband and I go to a convention in D.C. every year. This year, he suggested we check out Reverie even though it's in Georgetown (about a 15mins Uber ride from where we were). It was a bit hard to find but we found it! I was pleasantly surprised that they had an N/A pairing for the meal as well as the usual alcohol pairing. My husband ordered the usual pairing and I ordered the N/A one (since I was driving home later). Anyway, he did try the N/A pairings throughout the meal and thought they were excellent! This restaurant had delicious food, wonderful pairings, a cozy atmosphere, and a wonderful staff. We may put it in our regular rotation for when we're in town for our convention. Fabulous time!

   Love that you’re taking risks, and presentations were gorgeous, but wayyyy too many dishes that simply don’t taste good. Our third visit and by far our least impressive culinarily.

    Reverie is a delight to the senses. Every dish and wine pairing was perfect! My colleague and I had the best meal and rate this place as one of our most favorite restaurants in all of DC. We will certainly go back!
