This is a fun place to go for a night out but I would not recommend it for dining. Previously had an issue when I made a 9pm reservation only to get seated and find out we could not order food because the kitchen closed at 9pm. Would be smart to let the customers know that when taking the reservation. Then this past weekend made a reservation for brunch, or so I thought. Never once did it say anywhere that they were not offering their normal brunch options. Instead they had a limited menu consisting of pretzels, chicken fingers and a couple other items. Also they weren't offering bottomless mimosas which they have every other weekend. They had called to confirm the reservation and should have notified us of the limited menu and other changes. My other friends walked out when they got there and found out and I wish we had too.
Revel has a fun vibe and setup, but there are many things that could be improved. The food quality is subpar and overpriced. We've tried the grilled cheese, hamburger, flatbread, Brussels sprouts, bacon-wrapped dates and cheesecake. The hamburger was severely undercooked, the cheesecake was still frozen, and the fries were a different type between the 2 times we visited. The food took over 30m to come out and the server never stayed long enough to get all of our requests at once. The bathroom setup is very strange. 4 stalls total, all side by side, and one only has a urinal in it. If it's meant to have a unisex feel, every stall should have both a toilet and urinal. It will make the lines go much quicker. Overall, I think this could be a fun place to hang out if they up the quality of food and service.
Food definitely needs to be worked on. Not good.
The service was awesome and everyone was so friendly! The food and drinks were AMAZING, and they even had a sign at our table with our name on it!
The food was not good. Everyone in the party got different menu items and everyone was disappointed by their food 😞. The waitress forgot a few things on our order as well and seemed a little overwhelmed even though it was not super busy. Food was definitely overpriced for the quality. Thank goodness for the bottomless mimosas.
Brunch ok. Service took a very long time even though not very busy.
Love having brunch here on Sunday’s at the bar with Belle when she’s working!
Very dead inside. Service wasn’t the best. Atmosphere was not fun.
I had a really disappointing experience. I had been at Revel the previous Monday for the bachelor watch party and had a great time! However, this past week was a let down. I made a reservation two weeks in advance, and when we got there we were sat at the bar instead. They had to clear people off the bar who clearly weren't told they would have to leave and this created a lot of hostility around us. We were stuck at the end of the bar so we could barely see or hear the TV and constantly had 10+ people reaching between us to order their drinks. It took 30+ plus to get a drink whenever we needed one and my food did not come for 90minutes. The staff was working hard, but clearly were understaffed for the number of people present. I felt as though if I took the time to make the reservation two weeks, out I should have been given a table or adequate seating. My friends and I were really excited to go and it ended up being a frustrating experience.
My first visit to Revel Social was for a Bachelor watch party with special guest Blake Horstmann. My party came to both meet Blake AND watch the episode while having some drinks. The location, service and feel of the bar was great! My only critique would be that if watch parties are going to continue there need to be more tv's and better sound. The only way someone would be able to actually watch the show and hear it is if they are at the bar where there are plenty of tv's and I assume better sound. I was right near the front door so my only tv I could see was a small one that was at the bar and due to the volume of people in the bar we couldn't hear the show at all. Aside from those points we had a great time and would recommend this place to others.
Our server was great. Made sure to check on us as much as possible considering how busy the restaurant was.
Went for happy hour for some snacks and drinks! They had some good happy hour specials and the appetizers we ordered were great for sharing! Definitely a great fun spot for drinks and snacks!
The look of Revel is very modern and lovely. Our large group for brunch was given a nice and large table. We enjoyed the drinks but our meals fell short of our expectations. Revel is new to Denver and we hope their food improves. I would only recommend this place for a evening bar/hangout.
This place is very cute and fun but definitely don’t go if you want a good meal. If i wanted buttered toast with guacamole that tastes like it came from Costco i could make it myself. Cute place though will return for drinks!
The atmosphere was great and the charity event was meaningful during the holiday season. Service could have been quicker, but it is understandable as this establishment is new. Great ambience and the staff were friendly and punctual. My boyfriend and I will be back, but likely not for brunch (maybe a happy hour or lunch/dinner instead).
Came as a pregame for another event and didn't want to leave! Food and cocktails were great. Servers were fantastic and the atmosphere is just what Denver needs! A must see if your visiting town or a Denver Resident and haven't discovered it yet!
I wasn’t sure what to expect when we first decided to try Revel Social since they just opened. But after we got there I was glad we went. I would recommend this place to everyone! The atmosphere is amazing. All the servers and bartenders are so sweet. Even the general manager came out to check on us a couple times and asked what we thought about everything. MY FOOD WAS AMAZING! I will be going back there.
Dissapointed in the service and lack of intuition by the servers. Clearly hired by looks rather than skill. Took 20 minutes to get a mimosa. Our food was bland and had to ask 3 times for hot sauce to make the food edible.
