First time at the new location in Fremont. We sat outside, which was actually pretty cozy with their jear lamps. Drinks were grrat. Menu seems a little smaller than I remember. Everything was delicious, but the crab noodles were a bit if a disappointment. Very little crab!

I had an amazing meal at Revel. Everything was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Our cocktails we delicious and I was impressed by the amaro selection. The service was both friendly and efficient.

Although this is one of our favorite restaurants close to our neighborhood, we experienced very unfriendly service this time around. The waitress had zero sense of humor and seemed very annoyed with her job. Maybe she just had a bad day or she is in the wrong job. There was also an overall curtness with the staff as they are trying to keep diners to the 1.5 hour dining time. They might want to think about extending to 2 hours so customers don't feel rushed and leave feeling like they are welcome to come again.

We had a really nice server but our patio seating was halfway out of any heater space and pushed out to the corner of the street. The food was very average. The wontons were the only good item among the the 7-8 items we got.

Only outside dining was available. Outside dining area very poorly protected from wind/cold.

Restaurant adds 4% service fee to checks and state that the fee goes to and is kept by the restaurant.

Menu prices vey high for very small portions. Best bargain is Korean beer for $4.

Good recommendations from the staff. Because of Covid and open doors, it was colder inside than I was expecting, just add a layer!

Delicious take on "Korean" food. Definitely not a Korean place. We particularly enjoyed the Kimchee pancake and the Panna cotta dessert.
The kimchee was quite mildly spiced as were all of the dishes. The osso buco was also great.

Revel is consistently excellent. The food is amazing and imaginative. I've been going here from their previous location in Fremont to their current location in a new building in Fremont.

our server was great, but everyone else there seemed really put out by us being there. they seated us inside with one other table, everyone else was outside, there was no ambiance at all. food is excellent! except for dessert- ok to skip. overall, this has always been one of my go-to restaurants and it didnt feel very special at all.

We made reservation 3 weeks in advance and although the restaurant was empty, they sat us in a corner. The food was not so good, the service was ok.

It feels like they don’t make a big effort, as they are always full.

Food was good overall, the black cod was delicious but it really isn’t a Korean dish so am confused about the personality of this place. Service was lackluster and main dishes didn’t come out together. Our service person seemed resentful towards us for asking for replacement plates after our first course, she was abrupt and sullen after that - really..? Overall, it wasn’t the best evening. On top of that, the restaurant adds a 4% surcharge for staff - isn’t our 20% tip enough already? Was going to try sister restaurant Joule too but probably not now.

If you have outdoor seating, put some heaters out. It’s poor customer service when people are shivering

As usual, the food was an amazing twist on Asian food....both familiar and out of this world. That lemon grass fed steak was amazing, churros fantastic with the chocolate gochugang sauce, and brussel sprouts that any veggie hater would eat!!

Only thing, a cold wind whipped up and even in jackets, it was getting very cold outdoors.

Love this eatery. Crab noodles are my fav, but everything is delicious. Had a cocktail that was called Dizzy something and it was purple and really good! The only thing they could do to improve in my opinion is put heaters on their patio for diners who prefer to eat out there.

UH-MAY-ZING food, friendly staff. The remodel is terrific. Seriously, my entire Sunday should always be: coffee cake and chorizo wontons with a kimchi bloody mary. Thank you for a wonderful morning. We ate too much and were never happier.

First visit based on recommendation from our Seattle friends who were celebrating their wedding anniversary tonight. I had the dungeons crab noodles which were delicious. The kimchi pancake was good as was the Chinese broccoli. I enjoyed trying something different though I was not overly impressed. However my friends were happy and that’s what mattered tonight.

We were having a family gathering with grandma, kids, and grandkids. I think we ordered most of the dishes and everything was truly delicious. Our favorites were the tuna bowl, the dumplings, kimchee pancakes, ribeye and bbq ribs. The cocktails were also fantastic—rye and reason and ginger grace? The patio is a bit noisy with cars going by but hey, it was outside during Covid and our service was excellent. Revel never disappoints!

We arrived at 5:06 for a 5 reservation. We were phoned a minute before telling us our reservation would not be held if we showed after 5:15. Be on time!
We ordered Chinese broccoli— excellent though the pieces were too large to eat with chopsticks provided— definitely need to cut these. A rib eye steak and Korean ribs were terrific though the ribs were a small portion and we were hungry when finished. Served with a tiny bit of kimchee. A rice accompaniment is really needed. Great cocktails and short wine list. We had one cocktail and two glasses of wine. Bill was $111. Waitperson was excellent.

Absolute worst service. Arrived at our reservation and were instantly told we had an hour to eat. Hostess never ever said hello, or welcome. We tried to make the best of horrible service only to have our server come and tell us that we couldn’t have our last dish because it was time to leave. She offer to box it to go. We declined. What a horrible and now laughable experience. We have been frequent patrons at all 3 locations (Fremont, South Lake Union, Fremont new location). There are far too many fabulous restaurants in our neighborhood to frequent a place that is missing the mark.

Their brunch menu isn't appealing. I ordered the revel brunch bowl. It came with rice, eggs, potatoes and chinese sausage. It had no flavor and wasn't worth the $ amount. We also got breakfast dumplings which were mediocre in taste. Overall bad experience

Very good service. Food was good and it was nice to try something different. Marinated eggplant and ribs were good, but not stellar. Broccoli was bland. Crab noodles were the one standout dish IMO. I was a bit put off by the 4% surcharge for the house. We know wages are up, but shouldn’t servers make a better wage? Why not just raise the prices to show support for your workers?

Everything other than the service just seemed off. The cocktails were slightly too acidic and the food slightly under seasoned or slightly undercooked. We tried about 5 dishes and none of them hit the mark. I wish I could recommend this place as I used to really like the old location years ago.
