Delicious and interesting food, great service, great outdoor set up. What more could you ask for in times like these?!
We sat inside-lots of space between tables and everyone wearing masks. The food was great-especially the short rib dumplings and spicy miso rice cakes. The Ube tres Leches cake was ah-maxing!
Revel is amazing. The food is something that you can’t get anywhere else. The service was wonderful. We sat outside and felt completely safe. So glad we were able to enjoy a meal out for the first time since February. Thank you!!
Great food- big flavors, and lots of variety. Uncomfortable seating on the patio, and heaters would be helpful
Wow - best meal we've had in a long while! We'll be back!
I took my boyfriend to Revel for his 40th birthday and other than the host telling us that someone was coming at 730 so we’ll need to be gone by then before even seating us— it was perfect. There was nothing on the menu we tried that we didn’t like. However, the real stars of the evening were the Crab Noodles and Ube Tres Leches.
Dining indoors at Revel nowadays is odd. They're focused..out of necessity on the to-go orders. So service was so so. The food is still great so the impacted dining experience was not a big deal.
Birthday dinner with friend
Our second time there, first time since the renovation. Ate on the patio, had great service and food. Everyone is doing their best making dining in the era of COVID better. The menu is slightly limited during this time and there is a 4% surcharge on the bill...I’m guessing to make up for decreased revenue/dining capacity? Won’t stop us from going back and supporting our local food scene.
They have discovered the perfect match in between wonderful food and very comfortable outdoor seating. It is a pleasure to keep coming back and recommend this Seattle gem.
Absolutely great service and food. You can’t go wrong!
Great outdoor dining experience!! Food and service was on point. We will be back again soon.
Have been going to Revel since the original Fremont location. They are still delivering at an extremely high level, even with the slightly smaller covid-era menu.
We have been following Chefs Yang and Chirchi since Coupage in Madrona in the early 2000's.
The food is always inspired, surprising, delicious, and deeply satisfying.
The staff did a great job adhering to covid restrictions, and making us feel safe (I'm a recently retired RN).
Although neither of us are rap fans, the recorded music was rhythmically interesting. Could have been less present for our taste but we understand in relation to the current Fremont demographic.
It was our 21st wedding anniversary. We'll be back!
Very nice outdoor patio, great service and food. Rice cakes are amazing! Puppy was allowed to sit with us.
This was one of my first dinner experiences during Covid and it was lovely and incredibly safe feeling. The rice cakes and crab noodles were incredible and the dumplings and gyoza were a big hit too! Save room for dessert! The chocolate mochi cake was great. Wonderful service and drinks made it a wonderful night!
Revel was the perfect date night spot and provided the perfect ambiance considering the circumstances with Covid. It has been difficult finding a great dine in spot with what is currently going on but Revel was a pleasant surprise. Our server was upbeat and knowledgeable. He recommended the rice cakes which I also recommend, they were amazing. The Crab noodles, Short Rib wontons and rice cakes were all great choices and we walked away please. The art was amazing and the music was upbeat. It's not a cheap by any means but the value was exactly what we were hoping for, definitely will be back to Revel again soon!
Five of us dined on Ravels spacious Patio. The food and the value were very good, The service, ambiance, noise level, and covid safety were all acceptable to good. Yes definitely recommend this restaurant.
The location remodeled is amazing. We had a great meal on the outdoor seating which felt well spaced and like we were the only people there. The food was spot on as usual and service fantastic!
The place was good and the food fantastic but it was a bit disappointed that I made a reservation a week before and also showed up early to get a patio table and I was told that all patio tables were booked when two were available, the hostess had a not very friendly attitude and she didn’t do anything to make us feel better or see if we could be moved to the patio on a first opportunity. Then it took so long for the waiter to check on us to order, the place was not that busy.
Had to really flag down the waiter despite the restaurant not being very busy, took 15 minutes of me trying to flag him down to pace our order. I use to dine at their old location a lot and this new space is just bland. The food is tasty but it's overpriced. I can't say i'll eat here again.
It was our wedding anniversary and considering our current status with the pandemic, we feel like Revel did a great job minimizing any spread of the virus. Staff were great and things were well organized. Food was amazing, as usual.
Great service. Wonderful food. It rained, but this is Seattle and we brought our raincoats. Excellent cocktails.
Love this place- amazing food and always always great service
Amazing food and service at Revel as always. Love the new space and am so happy they're back in the neighborhood!
Love the food every time. Brought in a group of visitors and they were floored. Best flavors ever!
Excellent service and well-lit ambiance. Food was of varying levels. Recommend for taste the tofu rice bowl. The crab noodles have a tiny sprinkle of crab so not the best option.
Excellent service planning the dinner and the meal was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Our plan is to try everything on the menu that anyone would like. We had to limit our selections because there were so many wonderful choices. There wasn't one thing we wouldn't order again.
Everything was perfect! We wanted to add two people to our reservation at the last minute, on a Friday night, and the hostess went out of her way to shift things around, and accommodate us. All the staff were sweet and friendly, and we were shocked to find out that our very capable waiter, had just started that night. We shared many small plates and every one of them was delicious! Luckily for me, my husband bought the cookbook! Next time we're in Seattle, I'll look forward to trying their sister restaurant, Joule.
Love the food and ambiance! The service could use some help...
Food was very salty and portion sizes on the smaller size, especially given the price. There is an automatic 20% service charge and if you bring in a birthday cake, $2 per person cutting fee. In the afternoon/evening the sunlight reflects off of the building windows across the street and shines in your eyes if you’re sitting towards the front. Servers were polite and accommodating but not particularly warm.
The food is amazing. Literally Amazing. It was an awesome experience with a large group of co-workers on a business trip.
They were great! Food was amazing, wine was perfect. They openly accepted our last minute reservation change. The server was very personable and attentive.
The food was delicious, as always, but the atmosphere was soul-less. Far prefer the old Fremont spot which felt energetic, alive and authentic. Also, the first thing the hostess said to us when we checked in four our reservation is that we had to be out of our table by 8:45 (for our 6:30 reservation) . Of course the time was not an issue --we were easily done by 8:15 but do you really have to say that?
Wonderful new space, and same great quality of food.
My friends and I had a great time at Revel. The food & service were great! We enjoyed our time and left in laughter.
I liked my food and our server was great. Ambience was fine but noisy. Turn the music down a little! Overall, very good, just not outstanding.
The new location is lovely! We had a great evening- the food is as good as expected and everyone LOVED their meals! Revel will continue to be a favorite!
We love Revel. It's our favorite restaurant/food in Seattle. But the new location just isn't the same experience. Eight of us came to celebrate a graduation. We made a reservation for 8:30. And we were literally rushed out the door. Like they all wanted to go home instead of serve us. They even turned up the lights to send a message - Yikes! It wasn't even 10pm yet. The old location had a hip late nighty vibe. The new one must make so much money at lunch (it's smack dab in the middle of the Amazon-ville) that they don't care about a city crowd that enjoys later dinners and not being rushed out the door. I brought another family as our guest, spent a lot of money and I was embarrassed by how they treated us. I still recommend the food. The chefs are the best. But if you don't want to serve past 9pm, at least tell me that when I make a reservation for 8:30pm. I hope when it comes back to Fremont that it returns to its hip, cool, city vibe.
