Beautiful restaurant. First time there. Tried it during restaurant week. A little hard to hold a conversation. Loud music. Seating is a little close. Will consider going back.

I have been wanting to get into Revel for brunch for quite a while. We finally got in for dinner during "Long Island Restaurant Week" which I thought would be a great way to sample the experience. We went on a Friday night with a reservation....nine-ish , the place was packed... PACKED ! ...and the noise was absolutely ridiculous - there is no ceiling damper so the din of loud talking , compounded with the music and the noise from the sports games on the big screens in the bar area made normal dinner conversation impossible. The food, however, is superb....a little pricey ( NYC prices on LI) but good portions and worth coming back for another try. We had the skirt steak and chicken scarpiello - both on the regular menu and excellent.
Hopefully, the unacceptably loud noise in the restaurant and the slight lack of attentive service will be attributed to the 'Restaurant Week' special and not their usual atmosphere - we will try again , I would be happy to make this a regular "go to" spot

Went there today with a few friends today and had to say that my overall feel was good. The service was not too great. The server was nowhere in sight for the most part. My glass cup was refilled more times then I saw the server. However, the food was pretty good. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the cheesecake creme brule wasn't the best. The sugary crust on top was soggy and not freshly torched sugar. There was a party going on as well at the bar, so all I heard were ladies yapping and being unreasonable loud for no reason but to be heard. They really should have seated our party far from that in a more quieter area.

Went for Restaurant Week and was very pleased. The roasted brussel sprout appetizer was wonderful and both entrees were yummy. Will definitely go back again and glad that it is so close to home!

Very nice atmosphere, unfortunately I think it's just that..... menu reads very nice... the food not so much...... friends had burgers, very dry no matter how it was ordered and I had pasta, ummm, bad choice, tasted like my 8 yr. old made it........ ok never again 😞

First time there and really enjoyed it. It is a little noisy there but that is due to bar and happy hour. Food was great and they even have a price fix menu. Happy hour drinks $5.00 and bartenders are friendly. Definitely a place to go to.

Too expensive for the level of food/service they deliver. There were 3 of us – waitress was very sweet but orders didn’t come out correctly. The Mediterranean salad was good. The lobster roll, was ordered minus the roll, over greens. The lobster wasn’t anywhere near what it should’ve been especially considering the lunch was $27 per person. That’s quite pricey when no cocktails were ordered & 1 of us ordered an appetizer as our lunch! The restaurant itself is well decorated & comfortable. While there’s a large parking lot in the rear, parking is challenging since a majority of the spots only permit 1 hour. The noise is extreme making conversation challenging. Overall, not the best experience - cannot recommend.

The Garden City Hotel staff is always outstanding! Stopped in after a piano recital in The Cathedral and we had appetizers and drinks on a Sunday afternoon. Perfect!

surprisingly had bread basket that was cold, cheese slide off of bread as unit when we picked it up,
owner did come by to apologize for bread. usually a great place and friendly place to eat.

Waiter was lost in space. took our drink orders and never brought them. After we asked for our drinks which were sitting on the bar for like 20 minutes he said "oh no one gave them to you". We ordered apps. then he came back with break for the table. We then ordered our main course. After we ordered he came over to tell us the "specials for the night", we told him we ordered already and he said Oh right. There was only one other table filled in the entire restaurant. that being said we had the wings and eggplant chips for appetizers. Wings were big and crispy however they were reheated and dry as a bone on the inside. entrees lamb chops were seasoned nicely as were the lemon potatoes and cook very good. Salmon was over cooked by like 10 minutes and dry.
