Food was not good. Ordered the crab cake it tasted like a frozen crab cake from the freezer....
The restaurant was nicely decorated but not very impressive. The music was low & covid precautions were implemented. The only mishap was when the waitress shorted us on the change from our bill. We didn’t bother to mention it since it was a few bucks but in turn we shorted her on her tip. The experience wasn’t not worthwhile.
Started off rocky but thankfully the time with the “fresh” hostess was short. Had a 7:00 pm res, called around 4:30 to change to 7:30. No problem. Arrived 7:28 and was told I missed my 7:00 reservation. Explained about the phone call and was told, sorry. I guess they didn’t change it, there is nothing I can do, and proceeded to turn her back on me. I questioned what my options were. I was told that there is a perfectly good table inside and she can’t do anything else about it. I responded by telling her I made a reservation for outside and confirmed that reservation. She said well, there’s nothing I can do and continued to type on her iPad. The other hostesses began to speak and realized that the person that changed the reservation changed it for a different person with my same name. The original hostess begrudgingly shoved menus at a different hostess and sent us on our way. Thankfully the server was fantastic and the food was delicious. Glad I didn’t let one rude girl ruin our evening.
Busy night .. waiters seems overwhelmed. Took a long time to get drinks or even speak with waiter
First time to try out this resturant. Brunch was very good, outdoor seating was spacious and clean. Thanks for having us today.
They give enough food to full you up, and the drinks just keeps coming during brunch.
Nice environment. Waitress was the sweetest. Drinks were good
Food was served quick and was great quality and taste. Service was very attentive.
The food here is AMAZING! Everything we tried was delicious, so we definitely will be coming back for future date nights.
Ambiance and food is great. Lots of seating and COVID friendly with partitions.
My husband and I had a great dine-in experience, the food was great and our waiter was amazing as well! Would definitely recommend this place. I highly recommend you make reservations ahead of time. They were very busy upon my arrival but thanks for the open table app, I was able to book my reservation early and did not have to worry about waiting.
Great food and great outdoor dining experience.
The food was excellent. Our waitress was awesome and very sweet. Highly recommend it to others.
When I made the reservations, I asked if the tent was warm and was told yes, very...it was not. There were 3 heaters on one side of the tent and only one on the other. It was so cold that it was unenjoyable. At one point the plastic divider next to our table fell over and knocked over my drink. The service was slow even though we were instructed that we only had 90 minutes when we were seated. The eggplant chips were delicious, but that was the only thing we liked. The salmon and dumplings were tasteless. Not worth the money.
We waited a long time for our server to greet us and take a drink order. It then took quite a bit of time for the drinks to come and during that time another waiter came to the table to introduce themself and proceed to take the drink order... Overall the food was very good but the service could be improved. Take away the silly covid screens and the ambience improves quite a bit. I would recommend this place to friends.
The food was okay, they weren’t really accommodating and they threw away the birthday cake that i purchased.
Had the best experience here with my family. This place was a “happy accident” since my original plans were to go to another restaurant that I mistakenly booked on the wrong day. I frantically searched for something that had the reservation time I needed and lo and behold: REVEL was the place that stood out on the list. Super happy that I chose right because the food is absolutely incredible. The social distancing rules are def enforced here and the staff was lovely. Thank you for providing a space to make diners feel some sort of “normalcy” during these trying times. Def. will be visiting soon for another amazing food experience!
Wonderful, fresh, tasty food. Wonderful service and ambiance.
Food was terrible and flavorless.
mediocre and pricy
The food never disappoints. Always delicious! Apps had this visit were french onion soup and angus egg rolls. Seafood paella and chicken amalfi were the entrees ordered. All were sooo tasty. A great meal accompanied by excellent service.
Everything was excellent- shout out to Daisy who was fabulous!
New Year’s Eve
Had a great night with good food and drinks.
Just beware that the restaurant is adding gratuity to the bill even for small party and also adding 4% surcharges if you paid the bill by credit card. During pandemic, we understand those charges could be reasonable.
Thanks much for the lady server who provided great and friendly service.
The bread was cold and hard. The restaurant was very noisy.
Received a notification that my party's table was ready. However, when I arrived we were asked to sit at the bar. We were never moved to an actual table. Ordered chicken and waffles from the brunch menu. The food wasn't great and I would probably try something else from the menu.
The drinks were strong and good. The appetizers were good, tasty. But when the main courses came everyone was left asking is this it... we were expecting more in regards to flavor. We all had different meals but they were all bland and regular. Which was surprising being the appetizers were flavorful. The main issue came at the end. This restaurant charges a surcharge if paying the bill with credit card... I understand the tip was included but to charge us for using a credit card is ridiculous. The bill was 599 and returned to sign at 621. In the bill portfolio they do tape a little note speaking of surcharge but we just passed the card to the waiter. Plus should be made known before paying. I will not be returning.
The hostess was extremely rude and caught an attitude right when we walked in. I will never return here again, I've worked in the food and beverage industry all my life and would never act in such a way towards customers.
Great food, great service. All food came out on time and well designed
We chose this restaurant because it had an outdoor seating option. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were advised that the outdoor seating was closed. Since the restaurant itself was pretty empty, we agreed to sit inside, and it was fine. The food was excellent, from appetizer (lobster & crab salad) to dessert (pecan pie with gelato). My pasta entree had brussels sprouts and butternut squash, really delicious. The craft cocktails were disappointing. I ordered the Apple Pie Sangria, and it was essentially a dry white wine. My husband ordered the Margarita, somewhat bland, then switched to a red wine, which he liked.
Revel is a nice little package deal: you have a prefixe brunch which includes a meal and dessert, the ambiance is energetic and lively, I felt safe and that the restaurant was clean with people spaced out. We had a great waiter, Keith, and the food choices were great. The only thing that wasn't outstanding were the prices, but maybe that's just a personal thing. All in all, I'd definitely go again, I just wish the unlimited drinks weren't an extra fee in addition to the meal (plus 16), but again maybe that's just a personal issue. Still ,it great brunch with my girls!!
Food and service was amazing. Will be back soon
The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The food was wonderful!! I’ve been there before, it was a few years ago. I won’t wait that long again. I will be back soon.
Food was excellent. COVID separation was excellent. It was very relaxing.
Ambiance was great as usual, David, our waiter was also great. We celebrated a birthday...not very festive, and the waffles and chicken dish, was just ok. The lobster and shrimp omelette, on the other hand was magnificent.
I come often, always with a new person introducing them to Revel...so, YES, I will keep coming back....everyone can't be perfect every day.
The food was mediocre, the music was too loud, and if you’re paying with card you have to pay the tip amount of their choosing regardless of how the service was.
Rude food was rushed to being cooked .. poor service
Sunday brunch. A+ food and great outdoor set-up. Kinda weird music though, might wanna get someone else on aux
We had the most amazing time for a small birthday dinner! Felt EXTREMELY SAFE during these difficult times!
ALWAYS A GREAT TIME! Been going to Revel for several years on and it never disappoints. Alex is the BEST!
