Coffee was some of the best I've had at a restaurant! Brunch menu wasusual fare and included a greens salad with sesame chicken, and a shrimp & grits dish. Members in my party tried both and enjoyed them. The waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon were also very good - although you will have to ask for more syrup. Pancakes were a bit sour tasting - I guess it was sourdough batter. No one finished them.
Our waiter seems to forget about us and was very slow. the restaurant was not even busy. Otherwise great lunch.
It was amazing! Great atmosphere great food! We had the best time!
Food was good but not great. Waiter was not totally familiar with the special. Waiter took order and then didn't see him again till I had to ask for the bill a couple of times. Food was served by a couple of different people. Water never refilled. One visit is enough.
The service was extremely slow. The brunch was absolutely nothing special. The Bloody Mary mix was watered down and very bad. The food was very basic and not worth it
Great lunch spot! Not loud. Fast service. I had the blackened salmon sandwich.
Before a show dinner experience. Food was delicious! Pizza and salad-balsamic dressing was to die for! Our server was very attentive. No waiting for food! Even had time for dessert-a decadent chocolate “little Debbie” creation we shared! Love Revel!
There were 8 of us and the service was absolutely excellent! Food was delicious and drinks were flowing. Would recommend
The food was good, but we had a 7:00 reservation and weren’t sat until 7:25 and we didn’t get drinks until 7:50. The food and drinks were very good.
Great happy hour specials and the food was excellent!
Good food and drinks
This is a great spot pre-theater. An amazing selection of well executed happy hour (ends at 6:30) food and drinks. $6 each.
Outstanding experience all around. It was evident of the level of skill of the chefs that prepared the dishes. The pork chop and salmon were perfectly cooked and the flavors were amazing together. The highlight of our night was our server, Ryan who was very warm and personable without being intrusive. Truly some of the best service we have had in a long time. Thank you for the wonderful evening and we will be returning again soon. 5 stars all around!
Fun place. Service was a little slow but we weren’t in a hurry.
A nice atmosphere. Great service. I really enjoyed my meal.
Food was very good! The service was a little slow but not awful. Price was right for what we ordered.
Very nice restaurant. The food and service were very good. I would recommend this place and we will revisit.
Ribeye and Burrata pasta were fantastic.
Christmas gift to our family. First time for all of us. Great first experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Great spot to meet up for a casual lunch!
The food was cold, the portions were small ,and it’s overpriced.
We thought this place was excellent. Would definitely recommend to our friends! The waiter was awesome and everyone was welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious.
Food and service were AMAZING!!!! Cannot say enough good about this place. Service was some of the best we ever had. Knew exactly when to give us time and when to converse with us! The manager even came over to chat with us and see how everything was. This place is a GEM. In perfect location downtown. We will definitely making this our go to spot.
Server was great— told us about specials, perfect timing on everything.
Undercooked food... both meals! Also, the server did not pour our wine into glasses, nor did she introduce herself. Would not return.
Burgers were bland. Water tasted like chlorine. Good thing they have bottled available.
We were greeted cheerily and waited on quickly. Interesting and yummy cocktails. Tasty food.
We went for brunch on a fairly cold and icy Sunday so the place was pretty empty. However the food and service was still excellent. No complaints 😊
The whole experience was good however there were multiple tables last night of 8+ people and only 1 waiter and 1 bartender. The service was the only down fall but was not the waiter fault.
great place in Pittsburgh for happy hour. Perfect for before the pens game
The food was very good but everything came out at once and the temperature of the food was barely warm. We would definitely try it again though. Our kids really enjoyed the smoked wings.
I did want to comment that although the service and service was good, when asked for the ladies room we were told it was out of service. My daughter is an interior architect and she said that is in violation of code. The restaurant could have been shut down if we had reported it.
This was the 2nd time I have been in the restaurant within past 2 months
1st time, it took roughly 20 minutes to get food at a rather empty restaurant.
2nd time, I took 4 people to a retirement luncheon. All got food except for me. After the 4 were served, It took waiter over 5 minutes to come back and ask how food was, I had to tell him mine was not given to me. It took another 10 minutes to say my order was almost done. It was then over 10 minutes before meal was almost done. At that point, I said to box it as everyone was done eating and we had to go back to work.
Yes, I didn’t have to pay for it, but the damage was done.
We were taken to our table and had to wait at least give minutes for them to find a chair. There was only one at a table for two. My food arrived at room temperature, if that. When we finished our meal, the waitress didn't ask about dessert or if we wanted anything else. I won't go back - don't know if they were short-staffed or if it's just hit or miss?
Bad service all around and way overpriced. We had an early reservation because we were going to the Penguins game at 7pm. We saw a 6 top get seated by the front window who did not have a reservation in front of us, then we got stuck by the walkway to the bathroom. A pair of women got seated directly next to us, but it took the host forever to find a seat because the table only had one. We had to get up, go to the table directly behind us, and get the nice older lady a chair. We received "stink eye" looks the rest of the evening from the host.
The food was good, but way overpriced. Someone in our party ordered a Bookers Bourbon Old Fashioned....it came in a Martini Glass. There is literally a glass called an "Old Fashioned Glass" so not sure why this occurred. It was also $28, which seems a little much considering a bottle of Bookers is $50-60.
Our server acted as if we were bothering her by being there and had to actually ask her for water at the table.
The food itself was very good. We had the Brussel Sprouts app, I had the shrimp and chorizo chowder, both excellent. The bacon wrapped scallops were cooked very well and very fresh. My wife is from Louisiana so she figured she'd try a northern take on the Grouper with Etouffe and it was surprisingly very good.
I'm a believer that eating out should be about the entire experience, and while I can put up with a few misses on service if the food is phenomenal, but this just isn't worth your time or money. Definitely better places in the city.
Food was great service was slow and spotty
Our experience was a positive one, we had our team holiday lunch at Revel and everyone seemed to really enjoy the choice of restaurant. The food was really good with the exception of the homemade chips, which were too salty and we could not finish those. Our server was very attentive and personable. The food all came out how it was ordered. We will plan another team lunch for sure. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Wrong food order delivered. Waiter did not check until was finished eating. Did nothing to correct but offer the correct food after the meal was done.
The food was good, but I think our waiter picketed our order as only 1/2 the food came out and then we waited 15 minutes for the rest of it. So 2 at our table were done eating before the rest of the food good there. Nice kid though, otherwise I would have scored lower. He still got his tip and we did not complain.
Knew we were in trouble when we walked in and the host/manager never even looked up to greet us. Then took us to a table where dirty dishes still sat on the table next to ours. By the way, the restaurant was dead at the time. We then moved to a high top where we waited for a server to come which never happened. Went to the bar to get our own drinks. Then finally, after getting waited on, we wait for our food (we all ordered burgers) and they were all cold! Really disappointing!
