The food was unmatched. I ordered the bacon wrapped scallops and shishito peppers. The peppers were unlike anything I have previously ordered. I was so glad I did! The scallops were cooked perfectly. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food. The vibe of the restaurant is trendy and intimate.
Outstanding food and high quality service! The Brussel sprouts appetizer was sensational!
If you sit at Daniel’s station, you are in for a treat. Great service, great personality, great sense of humor, serving great food. I highly recommend Revel. Never a bad experience.
Bloody Mary’s were quite good. The food, however, left much to be desired. My brother had the continental breakfast which was a container of Chobani yogurt, hard, inedible melon, and a croissant from I’m guessing Sams Club. I had the shrimp and grits which was tasteless. My mother had the crab fritter Benedict which was adequate at best. My BIL had pancakes and declared them unremarkable. At the end of the day it was just that; an unremarkable brunch and I’d neither return nor recommend.
One of the best sandwiches ever...sweet and spicey chicken....terrific, especially during happy hour .
The service started out poorly, we had a party of 8 with a reservation and they tried to squeeze into a table for 6. The restaurant had a table for 8 ready, plus lots of alternative spots, we had to insist that they move us to a different table. It was noon and not crowded.
The food was passable, although my dish shrimp and grits was horribly overcooked shrimp that looked like it had been sitting around for hours and the grits were colder than room temperature.
The service was only fair, she didn't bring out the bread with the orders that had bread, etc.
Fantastic experience from the food to the service and atmosphere. We’ve already recommended Revel to our friends
Great service! We felt like we were the only ones there with how well our server treated us! Great surprise treat for my mom’s birthday!
Went for brunch to celebrate a friends birthday. It wasn’t busy at all maybe a couple people. Food was good and service. The only thing is that myself and a friend got the bottomless mimosas and it didn’t taste like there was any alcohol in it. There could be more champagne in the mimosas.
Love Revel. Would have given it 5 Star except Noise Level is extremely high & loud. Everything else though is great
Overall very good
the waiter, josh, was awesome!! super friendly and great recommendations for us because we aren’t from the area.
Very good service, very friendly. Ready to fulfill my request at all times. Really enjoyed my lunch at Revel. Will try them for dinner very soon.
Good food, and good drinks but waitress was not around for a long period of time
Crab dip appetizer and crab sandwich were the same mix... no differentiation and way too much of the same thing. Waitress inattentive and forgetful. Food took 30 minutes to deliver when restaurant was not busy (2pm Sunday). Won’t be back.
Very good service. Good value and pleasant atmosphere.
The descriptions on the menu got my hopes up, but the overall food lacked any real flavor. The grits and shrimp were cooked to perfection, but there was no seasoning or sauce that you would expect from Low-country cuisine. It wasn’t even properly salted. The bacon was burned. The Maryland crab Benedict was also totally flat. The crab cakes weren’t sweet, the sauce was neither lemony nor tangy, and the potatoes were also lackluster. It’s a shame, as all of the raw ingredients seemed to be good. No excuse for such a poor showing on a Saturday brunch. If the food could live up to the raw ingredients and the ambiance, they’d be in business.
Perfect evening. DJ was a great server. Food was great. Got to sit by the window!
Food was poor at best the oil or ingredients used did not suit both of us and we both felt. We cancelled the rest of our evening plans.
The menu and food was excellent! We will be back and we will also try Roost based on our experience at Revel.
Great menu selection. Food was amazing with excellent service.
Celebrated a friends 30th bday here, the atmosphere and service was fantastic. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable
Lunch with son. Excellent dining experience. Will definitely dine here again.
A little more crowded than we are used to, but understand because of the holiday weekend took awhile to get refills on drinks and awhile to get the check at the end of our meal.
Well.. was excited to go here but one of the worst service experiences I have had in a long time. Waited very long to order, food was good when it came. Waited 20 minutes to pay. Will be a long time before I try again... note, only 50% occupied and didn’t appear under staffed.
There was nothing that made the restaurant stand out. It was regular fare which you can get anywhere. The margherita pizza was below par - no sauce, just very dry and no flavor.
The artichoke bruschetta - which was made on a toasted bread was cold. The bread was probably sitting for along time after it was toasted.
The service was poor. The waiter just wouldn't bring extra flatware so we could share the dishes we ordered. When I asked for extra, he mentioned there was a wedding party in their upstairs restaurant and that's why they didn't have extra flatware. I had to pick up flatware from other empty tables.
We left!! They tried to seat us next to hostess station where everyone walks and when we asked to sit at one of the many other empty tables we were told that they could only seat us at the bar. Plus special Mother's day menu was not posted on website when we booked
Overall the brunch was nice but several people in my party ordered the chicken and waffles and the waffles were underdone and freezing cold. They were inedible. Thankfully the staff was nice and we sent them back and ordered something else.
Excellent service and excellent food! Would definitely return.
Everything was great except that they did not anticipate the large crowd well even though they knew it was coming (it was the big marathon that they have every year and it runs right by the restaurant). We ordered the Breakfast Burrito and they were all out. We ordered a Mimosa and they were all out of champagne. What we ended up getting was great and we enjoyed it, but it never should have come down to them being out of stuff like that so it was just mis-managed by not anticipating well. Overall, it was good but I had to make that observation.
Some of the food was very good, and it was reasonably priced -- a good place to grab a bite before a show or downtown event. I did not care for the ahi tuna appetizer because it didn't have enough flavor and the kale slaw dressing tasted like plain yogurt. But the blackened salmon sandwich was really delicious. It was good that they subbed a salad for fries, and the salad was good, but the balsamic vinaigrette dressing didn't taste like balsamic...more like maple syrup (actually, a lot like pancake syrup), so next time I would try a different dressing. I would come back.
We were in town graduating from Chatham University with our doctoral degree and wanted a special place to celebrate. Our server Courtney was amazing from the moment she introduced ourselves to the moment she said congratulations and goodbye. The food was very good quickly served and delicious. We would highly recommend raffle to anyone who would like a special experience.
Service was slow for 2 people just ordering a sandwiches and a drink. We chose Revel instead of Roost because we had tickets to a show downtown at 8:00 and thought it would be quick with the more basic menu. We had a 6:30 reservation and were seated immediately. The restaurant was busy but not full. It took 45 minutes before the food was served and a waiter from another table graciously took our check because he noticed we had been waiting. Had this been our first experience we wouldn’t go back. However, I’ve had good service before and I like the atmosphere, location, and food.
Good atmosphere but food was extremely salty and over seasoned. Was sadly disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend
Our servers were friendly and we were checked up on by the manager and a rooming bartender to make sure we were good. The food was amazing and tasty!
Great food served communal style. We had the cauliflower, Brussels, sliced ribeye, tuna and wife ordered the beet pasta from upstairs menu of roost. Every single dish was incredible. DJ was great with the service. Will go back for sure!
Amazing food!! Went for Sunday brunch before a Pens game. Got the all you can drink mimosas and it was basically straight OJ, not worth it.
I had the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich. It was delicious.
DJ took good care of us. The food came out hot, together and tasty. The menu is super interesting with vege apps and wheat berry salads. Nicely done!
Great food and value! Great service!
Thank you very much!
