This is your classic, everyday neighborhood French bistro run by Chef Paul Magu-Lecugy & his wife, Laura. That kind of cozy little place you’d imagine in Saint Michel or Saint Germain. Not smack dab in the middle of the 'burbs. But lucky for you, that’s exactly where 5-star chef Paul Magu will be paying homage to the French comfort food that he fell in love with as a boy growing up in Paris. If they had duck breast on their menu all of the time, I'd be back more often. It's the best dish I've ever had there. Please bring back foie gras! Their moules frites are delicious!

Rêve Bistro is a gem tucked away in Lafayette. The previous restaurant at this location was quite expensive, but Rêve is committed to welcoming those who want a special meal, but not at Michelin prices. We have celebrated many special occasions here, as a couple, with friends, and with a group. Try it, I’m sure that you will be back for a bit of wonderful French cuisine.

A fine meal, an excellent service save for one female runner who, when delivering my entree, called me “dear.” That runner and I are approximately the same age. WTF. Diminutives suck. Just put the plate down if you can’t be gracious. Do better. Especially for the damn price point.

A very well tuned restaurant. The staff is intuitive and genuine. The food is outstanding. Personal favorites: the chicken pate, French Onion soup, any of the fish dishes.

The food was great and our server was fantastic. Dinner started with host handing birthday cards to my two my siblings, both celebrating their birthdays - a cute touch to start a great evening. The staff, owner, host, waitress and busboy, were all friendly and help to provide an helped to provide a perfect environment for a special meal.

TLDR: We love their food and their staff has been top notch. Do yourself a favor and go. We came with friends for a meal and Reve,once again, did not disappoint. We were sat quickly by their charming hostess. Arlene, our waitress, was quick to come by and get drinks going. She has a great personality and was able to be present enough to make sure we received everything we needed but still didn’t seem like she was hovering. The food is remarkable as always. The duck was rendered perfectly, and the halibut was not only delicious, but also a work of art. The other 2 had the scallops on a bed of the pea risotto. If you haven’t had the pea risotto, it is one of the reasons we return time after time. Deserts are unique and wonderful. The good: Great French cuisine prepared with care and great service. The bad: nothing The mediocre: parking can be limited early and the prices are not cheap, but they are commensurate with the quality of the restaurant. Overall: great food and service. Every time we go, we say we have to come more often.
