This is your classic, everyday neighborhood French bistro run by Chef Paul Magu-Lecugy & his wife, Laura. That kind of cozy little place you’d imagine in Saint Michel or Saint Germain. Not smack dab in the middle of the 'burbs. But lucky for you, that’s exactly where 5-star chef Paul Magu will be paying homage to the French comfort food that he fell in love with as a boy growing up in Paris. we arrived a few minutes before our reservation and our table was ready. after getting comfortable, our server informed us of the specials , we then ordered our drinks & apps. they have veal sweetbreads, which I love & are hard to find. The others had more standard fare, grilled halibut and sea scallops. The dishes were excellant tasting, with beautiful presentation. we recommend Reve Bistro any special occasion.

11/10! This French Bistro is a total Gem! Perfect Food, incredible service. The Pomme Frites are out of this world and great complement to the incredibly high quality entrees. The wine list is great and deserts are fantastic.

It’s very strange to sit in a cheap tent at uncomfortable tables given the price of the food. If the food was outstanding, the restaurant’s lack of ambiance and comfort would be less noticeable, but unfortunately this is not the case.

France comes to the east bay! Kir Royal was sparkling fun along with a chicken liver mousse. Elegant serving of mussels and frites. Wonderful service made for a fine evening.
