Reunion Kitchen + Drink - Anaheim Hills Ratings and Reviews
I had looked at menu so I knew there was not going be any real vegetarian options but the vege burger was more bun than anything.
The reason I would not go back here is the price of wine. $20 for a glass of wine is outrageous unless it is an exceptional wine. Justin Cab- $20! A glass!
First time dining here and worth the drive from Irvine. I enjoyed the short rib Benedict I ordered it was very flavorful and the ingredients were of good quality. The place was very noisy and we were seated in the back, if you want a quieter table be sure to mention that upon arrival. Overall I give it 4 stars.
Food is outstanding. We eat there frequently and this time it was a Friday night. We had a reservation and asked to be seated on the patio hoping it would be quieter. We were eating with a friend who has issues projecting his voice. Unfortunately, they seated a party of 8 people right next to us who were there for a good time. The noise level got really loud. Our server even commented on how noisy it seemed! Since we didn’t want our friend to strain his voice we basically just ate and left quickly. The food was great and also the service. We will be back as we seem to eat here once a week. Had the hamburger this time and it was yummy. Our friend had the prime rib dip and said it was very good.
Parking is awful - it took us 10 minutes of circling the area to find a spot. This was at 4:15 on a Friday afternoon. Food was good, service was good, staff was very friendly. Menu was OK BUT very expensive. OK for special occasion but not for everyday dining.
Monthly GNO! The ONLY thing we are disappointed in the new policy of the first two bottles with no corkage fee. After that it’s $15 per. We liked this place because it had no corkage fee. The manager did let us have 6 free bottles that night... one time only. We had 20 ladies with full meals. Apparently, free corkage fee will be no longer soon.
Like this restaurant have eaten here many times. They even allowed us to reserve a table we like. Service was poor. Waiter did not know which side to serve from made mistakes on order and was overall just fair. Brought out an additional entrée after he put in the wrong order but it was just uncomfortable. Usually service is good.
Reunion was recommended by a friend, and since then, it's been one of my favorites. Recently, I took my family there to celebrate my husband's birthday. My husband, son, daughter and her boyfriend have never been there. Although I highly recommended the Fried Chicken, we all ordered something different and tasted each other's entrees. My husband did order the Fried Chicken and everyone agreed, the Fried Chicken was the best they've ever had. All the entrees we ordered were all excellent. Service was on point!
I always love going to the Reunion for lunch, dinner and even brunch The food is always good. I am a pescatarian and I have my favorite go to entrees. Also, if we want to get the brussel sprout appeitzer they are always good to hold the bacon. We also enjoy the free corkage when we come for dinner. It is wonderful to go to a local restaurant to enjoy a good bottle of wine and great food.
Reunion Kitchen is a popular destination for our family. Food is excellent and consistent. If I have one knock its drink refills. Servers are busy - not enough of them. A real pet peeve of mine is when my glass runs dry. I constantly have to chase servers to get a glass refilled or a drink order in. The key to good tips for me is to never let my glass go dry! This restaurant needs to fix this issue. Its constant - not just at peak times.
My guest ordered the Buffalo chicken pasta. Her dish was missing the chicken. The waiter brought over a plate of chicken to add to her plate, after the fact. He should have had the dish remade, instead of having her adding chicken herself. The dish was not the same.
The food, drinks, service, & ambiance are exceptional here. The first time I came here was for a casual *reunion* with a group of longtime friends. I can’t remember exactly what we ordered but I remember going home and raving about the food and cocktails. This past Friday I was finally able to take my fiancé here. We decided to celebrate our 7 year dating anniversary here before getting married next year. I was so impressed with how I was able to thoroughly enjoy myself here in two very different ways. One being a boisterous and rowdy experience w my group of friends, and one being a very intimate and romantic experience with just my fiancé. With my group of friends, we sat at a large long table towards the middle/right of the restaurant; with my fiancé, we sat at a small cozy booth to the left of the restaurant. Both times, the food & cocktails were made to perfection, and the service was amazing. I love that the ambiance of the restaurant could be spun into either a casual night out with friends, or a formal dining experience for special occasions. We came during happy hour and got a ruby red martini, crispy asparagus, short rib sliders, and steak salad. The martini was strong but still had an enjoyable tasty balance of sour&sweet. The asparagus had a delicious crispy outer crunch balanced with freshness of perfectly cooked asparagus inside. The meat in the short rib sliders was cooked juicy with great savory flavor, and the crispy onion straws added just the right touch, which was all brought together by the dipping sauce. The steak salad was unbelievably good. The potatoes had so much flavor. The salad had a perfect balance to it. And steak was cooked perfectly to order. I honestly was so happy to have leftovers bc I got to enjoy the delicious food for a 2nd time at home the next day. On top of quality food and drink, our server was also so timely, attentive, helpful, & polite. I cant wait to come back and try more food/drinks. I highly recommend this place!
