   Tl;dr - you should definitely eat here Service was pretty glacial, considering how much staff was there and how few customers were there. That said - This food is AMAZING!! Much better than Sweet Cheeks in Fenway. So overall, worth it!

   The food was fantastic, have to get the biscuits because they’re absolutely amazing. The food took a long time to make it to the table we probably waited over 45 minutes in a non full restaurant. Also once we got our food they forgot one of our salad entrees and that took over the 15 minutes to get to the table - like it’s just salad!!

   Reunion is the real deal. The sliced brisket was delicious, and the service was friendly (shout out to Hannah and Lorraine). Oh, and be sure to order the biscuits. It's exactly the kind of casual, approachable spot the South End needs.

   The plates were unexpectedly small (not much meat) and not like typical BBQ. The biscuits and potato fries were great, but everything else was less than memorable. I was hoping this would be the new hot spot, but it did not even come close to my hopes.

    Really enjoyed our dinner at reunion. I know this place is pretty new and you can definitely feel the potential. The bar seems like a great place to hangout with friends and the food was great. There definitely was a vibe of “working out the kinks” in the service, but everyone around us was very kind and definitely doing their best to give us a great experience. Looking forward to seeing this place packed with people for some Sunday night football 🏈

    The restaurant is way too loud - no one could comfortably talk to each other over the music blasting. The food took an hour to get served to us, which is crazy considering it’s just scooped on a tray, so the meat was only kind of warm. One person in our party got pulled pork and half of it came with very fatty/skin parts so only half of it was edible.

    I think they are still trying to find their footing. The chopped BBQ brisket and chicken were good. Love the hot sauces and the biscuits. The pork belly bun app? Looks like they had made the buns days ago so they were very dense instead of soft and pillowey. Service was good.

    Food was good but service was extremely slow and unresponsive. Took 30 minutes just to get some Diet Coke and sprite, which turned out to be flat. Had to ask repeatedly for basic things like plates and cutlery. One of the items we ordered never arrived and when we pointed it out, there was no apology or offer to remove it from the bill. Took over an hour for food to come out after ordering. The table was very wobbly and despite repeated requests, server did not bring paper towel or anything to level it. Finally one of us went to the bathroom and got some tissue to fix it. The server kept saying that they were really backed up which is why everything was so slow but the restaurant was less than 50% full and our order was very basic. Despite the good food, would not go back.

    Food was delicious and just the right amount. Had the brisket which was cooked to perfection and the slaw and potato salad. The sides come nicely seperated in their own containers and were fresh and delicious. Potato salad was particularly nicely flavored with just a hint of dill. Service was great; server was really helpful and available for suggestions. Had theater tickets and he was very accomodating. Agree that the decor -- dark grey walls -- is not particularly festive and needs improving, but the music was great, the booths super comfortable, and the cocktail was excellent. Definitely coming back to dine there and take out.

    Generic attempt at BBQ. Had the requisite aluminum trays and the usual food on the menu. Beware of "dry rub"--it's basically flavorless salt. Best item on the menu was the side salad. (Really good salad but that's not saying a lot for a BBQ place). The 70's rock music is way too loud (concrete floors don't help) and an odd choice for BBQ. Not sure what they're aiming for here, but they missed the mark.

    Totally generic space painted dark grey, feels more like a battleship than a BBQ joint, thr few decorations strewn around (steer heads, small rope coils that look like exposed electric wiring ) are far too small for the space) and the mottled grey (slippery!) floors needs to be wood to warm things up. (Pretty sure masa before had had wood floors). Menu is printed in tiny boring type and is both hard to read and lacks any style. Basically the place has no personality whatsoever Prices are not bad and you get the normal range of meats available in trays or sandwiches. Nothing innovative here, but the food is actually very good, and prices reasonable I had the dry-rubbed wings, which were meaty and nicely cooked - 8 out of 10. The biscuit was a little crispy outside and fluffy inside. Very good. For a main course I has a two-meet platter that comes wirh two sides, and some Pickles and onions. I had pork belly, which was soft and well cooked and delicious, and the sliced brisket was also very good. Mac and cheese and bbq beans were both good versions of those staples. If you are familiar with the Boston BBQ scene, this place is better than The Smokehouse but not quite as great as Sweet Cheek’s - which is pretty high praise. Service was also capable, helpful, and friendly with everything explained, questions asked and refills offered. Just a star off for the off-putting lack of atmosphere and personality.

    Service was great. Sides were good. Pulled pork main was flavorless. Sauces are available…. For $3. Not right. I’ll give it another try for the brisket just to see how it is but my gold standard, still is sweet cheeks.
