One of my favorite restaurant in Panama. A most stop by restaurant in the country. The Staff's, the foods, the environment, and great ambiance on Friday night and Saturday night.

Fuimos a celebrar el cumpleaños de mi tía que nos visitaba desde Colombia, era su tercera vez en Panamá, le encantó la comida, el espectáculo y el ambiente en general. Realmente un servicio esmerado y de calidad, la cocina deliciosa y auténtica! Recomendado 100%

Place was open but when they got there, the door was locked and they had the closed sign up. Someone came to to door and told me, “We are closed lady.” I then told him I had a reservation. He asked for my name and without looking it up, he told us to come in and sat us in the corner at a table not even ready. After this experience, we decided to leave. Try Tantalos- great food and they are respectful to their guests!!

Booked this for a party of 8 for New Year’s Eve . Arranged transport to and from that cost $100. Left the big party at our resort to go there. We get there and they were CLOSED!!!!!!! Really? I booked this Dec 28 and got a reminder email from Open Table on Dec 30. New Years ruined and not clear why Open Table would allow this to happen but definitely won’t rely on the app for important bookings, especially in foreign countries .

Food and service was fine but they don’t care about open table reservations. Not sure if they can even check. Arrived at 8:15 for a 8:15 reservation, sat at 9:20 . Show was over. Had to listen to hour of lies and excuses of doorman.

Everything about this place is a wonderful celebration of Panamanian culture. We were too tired to stay for the show this time, but still loved all the traditional items on the menu and the great decor. Service was very good too. And the food and drinks were very tasty.

What a wonderful treasure this place is! I celebrated my birthday with a 24 hour lay-over in Panama City and was advised to dine her. The food was delicious, the drinks were potent and the staff was attentive & friendly. The atmosphere was casual and lively. I would strongly recommend the Sancocho and the ceviche...both were amazing!

Calamari appetizer was overdone and rubbery. Roos vieja has a good flavor but meat was a little tough. Pollo con arroz was good and beet salad was good - odd combination but great flavor. Large portions. Enough for two people - Service was not very attentive Hot sauce is habenero- super hot but great flavor
